We catch up with former Arsenal player, and cup winner, Ian Selley, along with football commentator, and dedicated Gooner, Dag Solheim. We look back on some of the epic cup wins in the early 90s, and especially the unexpected triumph against Parma in the Cup Winners cup final of 1994. How did they outwit their superior counterparts, and how did they celebrate? Along with Dag, Ian also reminisces about his journey from the academy to the first team, and tells great stories from the dressing room in George Graham's era. The famous drinking culture goes under the microscope, and Ian gives us the lowdown on how the players were able to combine that with their lifes as professional footballers. Also the former Gunner tells us just how great Dennis Bergkamp was in training, and how he sees Martin Ødegaard in the same mould. A certain Mr Ian Wright is also mentioned in the episode, in the role as a panicking bus driver. And how was it to have Tony Adams as your captain? We end with a chat about the current team, and Ian predicts that Arteta's Arsenal is on the cusp of something big..

The Process. We've all trusted it. Wholly, and from minute one. Taken it right into our hearts, minds, bodies, and even souls (if they exist). Thomas Aquinas (1225 to 1274) understood the soul to be the first actuality of the living body. Thomas Partey (1993 onwards) was unavailable for comment. And so, with our club captain banished from first team duties with a nasty case of the non-negotiables, Arteta's Arsenal have arrived in that most coveted of all the league placings: fourth. Welcome to The Arsenal Therapy Podcast, a dedicated show about the club we love, Arsenal Football Club. After a run of 10 games without losing a game, Arsenal suffer one of their biggest defeats of the season. This game was one, most fans were looking forward to for a number of reasons. One of them being to assess how far Arteta's Arsenal have come. This is a disappointing defeat to take because that question still remains unanswered. After a brilliant competitive first half where Arsenal defended brilliantly whilst hit Liverpool on the counterattack which caused a few issues for Liverpools defence, it all fell apart in the second half. Certainly, there were aspects of the game where fans can clearly identify our improvements. However, ultimately there is still a long way to go yet. West Ham United beat Leicester 4-1 in the Premier League last night to reach the summit of the table, where a record-breaking Michail Antonio was the star. (Part 2, 19:57) Arsenal have had their issues at the start of the season. What next for Arteta's Gunners? (Part 3, 41:22) The latest transfer talk including the latest newspaper stories on Declan Rice.
There's more unrest at The Emirates after Chelsea beat Arsenal with debutant Romelu Lukaku opening the scoring, Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo praises Harry Kane after he made his first appearance of the season and in Ligue 1 Nice v Marseille is abandoned after supporters stormed the pitch with Dimitri Payet being struck by a bottle which he threw back at the crowd. The second weekend of the 2021/22 Premier League season will forever be remembered for the second coming of Romelu Lukaku at Chelsea. Alice Piper is joined by Nick Wright, Ron Walker and Oliver Yew to reflect on Lukaku's emphatic second Chelsea debut at the Emirates Stadium, and what the display means for Thomas Tuchel's title challengers, as well as Mikel Arteta's winless Gunners…PART 1: Chelsea smashed their transfer record to bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge from Inter Milan but it already looks like money well spent after just one afternoon in north London. The panel examine Lukaku's performance, how easily he adapted back to life in the Premier League, and how he will be that focal point Chelsea have been craving through the coming season. Attention then turns to Arsenal, who have lost their opening two games of the season and were subjected to boos at half-time and full-time from their own supporters. With Man City on the horizon, the pressure is already on Arteta. PART 2: After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Jurgen Klopp's comments on the danger of Premier League rule changes transforming football into more physical sports like rugby and wrestling, the panel discuss whether Jack Stephens did indeed foul Bruno Fernandes in the build-up to Southampton's goal against Man Utd, and whether the new interpretation of rules around contact have improved the game.PART 3: Danny Ings scored his first home goal for Aston Villa with a sensational acrobatic strike against Newcastle. But was it a bicycle kick or an overhead kick – and what's the difference? After Jack Grealish opened his Man City account in somewhat fortuitous style, we assess his start to life with the champions and how team-mate Gabriel Jesus positional change could free up space for a certain Harry Kane, who made an appearance in Tottenham's win at Wolves.

Welcome to The Arsenal Therapy Podcast, a dedicated show about a club I love, Arsenal Football Club. A perfect performance by Arteta's Arsenal that saw them wash aside a below average Slavia Praha side and progress into the Semi Finals of the Europa League where they will face Villareal. This was one of Arsenal's strongest performance of the season with 3 first half goals sealing the victory early on. The standout performers on the night were Saka, Smith-Rowe, Pepe, Lacazette and Partey who were all instrumental in getting the ball in the final third to create goal scoring opportunities. Despite having Xhaka play Left Back, Arteta's plan worked perfectly. Welcome to The Arsenal Therapy Podcast, a dedicated show about a club I love, Arsenal Football Club. Arsenal back to winning ways with a very convincing performance and result against Leeds Utd who were a shadow of themselves. As Aubameyang picks up his second Hat-Trick in an Arsenal shirt, Arteta's Arsenal display a tactical masterclass to push themselves above Leeds into the top half of the table. Every single player put in a fantastic performance, especially Xhaka and Ceballos who were instrumental in stopping any attacking build-up from Leeds Utd who really struggled to create any momentum for themselves during the course of the game. Does this result mean we have finally unlocked the best out of Aubameyang after a disappointing season?
