An award winning independent music artist, singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist, music producer and videographer, this London based creative grew up in Nottingham UK. Self taught on piano and guitar, he was to discover a love for fully crafting his own material from conception to production and everything in between. Solidifying his skills at Paul McCartney's Performing Arts Institute LIPA in Liverpool, saw him write two musicals and record his first solo album before arriving in London to pursue long held musical dreams. As an ever evolving queer artist with inspirational pop icons surcharging his self expression, the big city in the early naughties proved a resistant force in his honest lyrics and themes gaining any commercial appeal. And so, shunning the corporate cats with a firm belief that art comes from a place of truth, he did it his way, retaining creative control by launching his own record label - Young Lust Records, learning the music biz from the ground up. Having carved a niche with his own brand of queer themed rock music and videos, exciting collaborations and projects soon followed, along with a strong online audience and international fan base garnering millions of YouTube views and viral videos, capturing the supportive eye of much loved English actor, broadcaster, writer, comedian and director Stephen Fry. Combining elements of rock, punk, alternative, pop and visual storytelling with a theatrical flair, his songs are candid in dealing with the joys, pains and experiences of gay identity. As an LGBTQ+ advocate and activist his expressions are unashamedly positive and celebratory with humorous yet acerbic commentary on institutional homophobia within the entertainment industry. Quirky, heart-warming and political. Fifteen years and four studio albums deep, his work has involved an international roster of film directors, illustrators and visual artists to bring his stories to life with an award winning debut album Not Thinking Straight and follow up Cover Boy co-produced with Mark Crew of Bastille and Rag n Bone Man credits, and has had his work featured in Gay Times, Attitude and Out Magazines. Alongside further nods from actor Tom Hiddleston, LGBtQ+ activist Peter Tatchell & legendary songwriter and producer Jim Steinman. With his latest album Tales of Queer Suburbia set for release in early 2025, this is someone making waves in the wonderful world of queer.

Bringing Large Scale Public Art to Life with Artist Producer Lexi Zelda Stevens and Artists Megan Broadmeadow & Angela Davies

Ceri brings together three artists who transformed the Green Man Festival into a magical artistic playground. Lexi Zelda Stevens, Megan Broadmeadow, and Angela Davies share their experiences of creating ambitious installations in challenging outdoor environments. From holographic fans in the woods to midnight performances on rafts, they reveal the intricate dance of artistic vision, technical expertise, and weather management. The trio and Ceri give practical advice and inspiration about producing large scale public art and talk about the importance of building strong support teams. KEY TAKEAWAYS Lexi believes the key to successful festival art programming is having meticulous contingency plans while giving artists complete creative freedom to lead their vision Megan discovered that having triple the expected technical support proved crucial when personal emergencies arose during installation of her holographic installation Transforming her gallery work for an outdoor festival context opened up new possibilities for Angela's performance and audience engagement. Producing festival art requires creating a calm, supportive environment amid chaos, focusing on safety while letting artists maintain creative control. Festival audiences interact with art differently than gallery visitors - some prefer to simply observe, while others want to understand the technical details. Angela realised that staging work next to water created unexpected opportunities for reflection, both literally and metaphorically, in her practice. Lexi's experience showed her that the best commissioned work comes from trusting artists who haven't worked outdoors before rather than playing it safe. Through her midnight performance, Angela discovered that festivals can create intimate, quiet moments of connection even within a busy event environment. BEST MOMENTS "Being a producer is kind of like saying sorry and thank you a lot. And maybe I hear you as well in there." "Don't work alone. You're going to need some friends. You're going to need support. Use people's expertise." "I was laying on this body of water where the film was projecting kind of beyond me... it was quite magical." "Creating imagery that transcends the festival... and forgetting that you're even at a festival, that was really powerful." "Just dream big" "Don't try and make the art. My role is very clear in that I'm leading on safety and passing over audience experience." "The opportunity to make something potentially super large scale that sat next to this body of water, this pond, on the estate... it was really incredible." His debut release as an artist/producer called Unspecified, was a non-genre specific collection in the midst of that exploration. As outdoor cultivators fled the federal raids of the 90's, they took their genetic catalogs and cultivation techniques indoors. With its progressive environment and support of counterculture, San Francisco soon became a popular destination for cultivators fleeing the war on weed. San Francisco became the epicenter of the evolution of high grade indoor cannabis as cultivators refined their indoor techniques and continued breeding with the large variety of genetics available in the city. SF Canna was born and raised in San Francisco's Sunset District, which is a breeding ground for the highest quality cannabis in the world attracting connoisseurs, cultivators and hustlers. Hustlers-turned-cultivators, SF Canna has helped lead the evolution of indoor cannabis, entrenched in the game with pioneers like Cookies and Sherbinsky. At the peak of prohibition they've risked their freedom and livelihood to cultivate. Now, with over two decades of cultivation experience, SF Canna is consistently producing high quality cannabis with beautiful bud structure, vibrant colors, contemporary terpene profiles and maximum potency. All SF Canna flowers are cultivated in indoor facilities in San Francisco, where the weather and water provide optimal conditions for cultivating. They're constantly evolving our growing methods and building their genetic catalog. SF Canna's main mission is to provide an unrivaled cannabis experience through superior flavor, potency and appearance. Though their journey includes loss in the form of friends, finances, and freedom, they've demonstrated the character, fortitude and personal growth required to level up and raise the bar in the cannabis industry.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The New York Puerto Rican and Colombian duo grew up in the artistic melting pots of both Brownsville Brooklyn and Spanish Harlem. New York provided all sorts of inspiration from the creative pool of talent that surrounded the barrios of East Harlem and Brooklyn apartment projects. The friends teamed up after meeting at World Renowned Downtown records, where impoted dance music was sold and DJ's came from all over spent time there. Once teamed up after discovering that we were looking to DJ in new ways of blending and overlaying multiple tracks. Each loved playing local playing block parties and selling mix tapes to promote themselves and did not realize that they were revolutionizing the art of mixing and editing without any former technical education. Their popularity grew so quickly that this noticeable new style of mixing was exactly what the radio programmers from the top radio stations in NYC. DJing on their own mix shows for 98.7 Kiss and then WKTU as featured for the historic afternoon mixshow, Paco's Supermix, Tony and Albert were living more than a dream. An Artist/ Producer and one of the greatest remixers of all time, Arthur Baker (Hall & Oates/ Diana Ross) brought the Latin Rascals in right away to apply that exact Latin Rascal editing style to Arthur's dance remix of “Born In The USA” by Bruce Springsteen and with his musical involvement in the BEAT STREET MOVIE sound track with producer Harry Belafonte.
