Eventually, everyone involved thinks it's "no body, no crime", but they are very much mistaken! Will anyone lead police to the body??Along the way, we find out that Seth Bullock & Wild Bill Hickok didn't even know each other, that owing someone $250 for meth can be a life threatening situation, and that being on meth for 4 straight days can skew your remembering of times & dates!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! Welcome to Belle Fourche, South Dakota!  Belle Fourche is the seat of Butte County and is located in western South Dakota about 11 miles from the Wyoming border.  The town began as a stagecoach stop in the mid 1880s when a stagecoach route was established between Medora, ND and Deadwood, SD.   In 1890 a railroad terminal was established in town to facilitate transferring cattle from the area to the packing plants in the Midwest.  By 1895 the station became the world's largest livestock shipping point, moving 2,500 cars of cattle per month in the peak season.  The town remains one of the most important livestock shipping points.  The area became the center of the contiguous United States in 1959 with the admission of Alaska and Hawaii into the Union.  A point 20 miles north of town was officially designated as the geographic center of the nation.  We hope you enjoy our visit to Belle  Fourche!

Returning to my desk, I commenced checking weather reports for Dickinson, Billings, Belle Fourche, and such points west to confirm what I suspected: that at my home in Cass County, we were the beneficiary of a chinook. In the Red River Valley we seldom get a chinook wind with force, but we are grateful when a remnant arrives, spent but still warming.

James, originally from eastern South Dakota, fell in love with the ranching lifestyle and rangeland when he was teaching ag education in Belle Fourche, SD. Bull Creek divides the South Cave Hills from the North Cave Hills. Jones Creek traces the south face of the South Cave Hills. There, in 1890, after trailing a herd north from Belle Fourche, W. H. “Virginia Bill” Hamilton established a ranch. And there, in 1998, I came to locate the old ranch headquarters in preparation for a reprint of Hamilton’s book, Dakota: Autobiography of a Cowman . Welcome to The Best 5 Minute Wine Podcast. I'm your host Forrest Kelly from the seed to the glass. Wine has a past. Our aim at The Best 5 Minute Wine Podcast is to look for adventure at wineries around the globe. After all grape minds think alike. Let's start the adventure. Our featured winery is: We venture to Hill City, South Dakota. The oldest existing city in Pennington County. A 15-minute mule ride from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Rushmore#Tourism (Mount Rushmore). And about 70 miles from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belle_Fourche,_South_Dakota (Belle Fourche, South Dakota), which is the geographic center of the United States. Hi, this is Angela from https://prairieberry.com/ (Prairie Berry Winery). I am the director of sales and marketing. Hello, Angela. I've heard of a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky_Mountain_oysters (Rocky Mountain oyster), but what is a prairie berry? It came from our winemaker, Sandy Vojta as a family heritage, actually in the late eighteen hundreds, her family, who came making wine in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protectorate_of_Bohemia_and_Moravia (Europe), emigrated to the plains of South Dakota when they got here. There wasn't much to make wine from. Obviously no grapes, things of that nature. So her great great grandmother. Her name was Anna Pesä. She started picking berries and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prunus_virginiana (chokecherries) and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shepherdia (buffalo berries), anything that she could find on the prairie of South Dakota. And she would refer to them as prairie berries. That story has been passed down for five generations and the winemaking tradition. And so when Sandy and her father and husband decided to start this business, it was easy to decide on the name. Prairie Berry Winery. And Anna Pesä comes here from Europe. What time frame in American history are we talking about? 1876. That was about the time in South Dakota with Deadwood was coming up in Wild Bill and Calamity Jane. And they happened to immigrate to the northern north-central plains of South Dakota, near Mobridge. Today's what some Mobridge, South Dakota, not far from there. So 1876, Was she doing this for commercial reasons or just doing it because of what they did in her heritage to do it for themselves? Certainly, it was the tradition the women in the family would make the wine, course in the cold plains of South Dakota. That's probably something they wanted to do to continue. Her husband would go down to the banks of the Missouri River and cut down oak trees, actually, and make her wine barrels so that she could continue producing wine just for the family. So your winemakers Sandy is a fifth-generation winemaker and she picked it up from her father, Ralph. Tell me about that. So he was making wine in his basement in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobridge,_South_Dakota (Mobridge, South Dakota), long before the winery started. And she was a young girl learning, learning the ways. And it just became a passion for her and her and her husband, Matt, and Ralph. Her dad decided in the late 1990s it was time to make it real and start an wine actual business with it. We just celebrated our 20th anniversary as a winery. Last year, 1999 was our first vintage and so to speak, of wine. Now, 20 years later, we are one of the most award-winning wineries in the region. So we've won over a thousand international awards for our wine. That concludes part one of our interview with Angela from Prairie Brewery Winery. In our next episode, we'll learn about how a mistake can accidentally turn into an award-winning product. Will, somebody answer that phone? Well, it's time Boys and Girls for our listener voicemail. Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm calling from Coon Rapids, Minnesota. I am interested in wineries in the United States. And I am curious how many female-owned wineries are there? There's a lot of different variables that go into that question. What is ownership, 51 percent or 50...

LAB-163-Is Royal Enfield Taking on Harley-Davidson?

Official Website: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com Podcast-In this podcast we discuss Royal Enfield motorcycles and their place in the motorcycling industry. Is Royal Enfield an actual competitor to Harley-Davidson? Enfield has a largely negligible presence in the U.S., and its bikes typically have small engines compared to the big bore bikes Harley produces.  SUPPORT US AND SHOP IN THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER STORE! In late 2017, Royal Enfield introduced in India its first big twin-engine motorcycle. They introduced the interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650, bikes that will compete head-to-head with Harley's Street 750. India only accounts for around 2% of Harley-Davidson's total sales, but it owns 60% of the big bike market there and a local player with a vastly larger distribution network could certainly create problems. CHECK OUT OUR HUNDREDS OF FREE HELPFUL VIDEOS ON OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL AND SUBSCRIBE! Royal Enfield is very popular and vastly outsells Harley-Davidson. However, Royal Enfield may be trying to get a bigger piece of the pie in the U.S. market. In the United States, Harley-Davidson has around 700 dealerships and Enfield only has just a few dozen in the U.S. and Canada. That said, Enfield's bikes could strike a chord with the emerging domestic motorcycle buyer. Episode Twenty-nine. Carla is our guest this recording, but if her mother inquires, we are a podcast covering important social economic issues, and we're definitely *not* discussing sodomy via vegetables. Dan and Captain Turner enjoy some good old fashioned mud rastlin'... A horny Alma approaches Ellsworth for some sexy times, but he has ample towels... Seth makes a capon of George Hearst... Milch's desire to overpopulate the series with unnecessary characters continues as Chesterton and the insatiable Bellegarde arrive in camp. However, we are now familiar with "the art of figging," and for that we are eternally grateful. ... Also, Emily reassures us that authorities are in pursuit of the trunk thief who torched the Belle Fourche stage crossing.| Send feedback to hooplecast@gmail.com. In this second part of our conversation, Vicki Troyer, talks about how she landed at the Ace Motel in northwest South Dakota. She left home to pursue her own dreams, which took her to the gaming tables of Las Vegas where she became a skilled dealer. I fact Vicki was so good she was chosen to deal cards for the World Championship of Poker. But as they say, there’s no place like home and we pick up the conversation with Vicki Troyer as she talks about returning home to help her parents run the family motel in Belle Fourche, South Dakota.
