Join us in this insightful episode of Palm Wine Central Podcast, as we sit down with Tabot Arreytambe, founder of Bitsy Builders , to explore how integrated problem-solving and AI are shaping the future of education. Key Highlights:
Saturday, October 12th, 2002. A warm night in Bali’s bustling Kuta Beach. Bars packed with tourists, music pumping. Then - devastation. Two massive explosions rip through popular Paddy’s Bar and the Sari Club across the road. 202 lives were lost, 88 of them Australians. In the wreckage, tiny clues told a story. Copper wires, fragments of tartan fabric, the surprising absence of a crater. Australian Federal Police Forensic chemist David Royds arrived at the scene just 48 hours later. Sifting through the devastation, he began working out what had happened and how it had happened —thereby uncovering essential information that would eventually lead to the arrest of the bombers. In this episode, he takes host Liz Porter inside the science of that investigation and reveals the lessons learned from it. This episode contains descriptions of a mass casualty event. Why does everything feel so expensive, slow, and impossible to fix? In this thought-provoking conversation, Andrew and Derek Thompson dive into Abundance, a groundbreaking new book with a bold vision for rebuilding prosperity. Thompson exposes how America's biggest problems—housing crises, stalled innovation, and broken institutions—are self-inflicted. They reveal how we got here, and who's really to blame (hint: it's not who you think), and, most importantly, how we can break free from the politics of scarcity to build a future of abundance in America. (00:00-26:24) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Brian Noe filling in for Jake Query while he travels back from California. Brian and producer Eddie Garrison open the show by discussing the IU women’s loss to South Carolina in the NCAA Tournament yesterday and then congratulating Matt Painter on his sixth Sweet 16 in the last eight years with a commanding win over McNeese. (26:24-40:33) – Brian and Eddie continue the NCAA Tournament chatter by debating whether the men’s tournament should mimic the women’s tournament with the first two rounds of the tournament on the home court. Brian believes that the men should, but Eddie doesn’t. (40:33-44:09) – The first hour of the program concludes with Brian and Eddie trying to figure out why there have not been a ton of upsets in the NCAA Tournament this season. (44:09-1:06:50) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joins Query & Company with Brian Noe to get some of his thoughts on the NCAA Tournament, weighs in on which player the Colts should select based off the names that Brian provides him with, admits that the Colts drafting a guard with the fourteenth pick doesn’t make sense to him, and lays out what Anthony Richardson needs to show this season for Indianapolis in a make or break season. (1:06:50-1:19:23) – Brian and Eddie shift their conversation back to the college basketball with the lack of upsets and Cinderella teams in the NCAA Tournament. They discuss if they are pro-Cinderella or anti-Cinderella. (1:19:23-1:27:21) – Hour number two concludes with Brian defining what underrated and overrated mean to him because he has a couple of music opinions on bands being overrated and underrated. Plus, he and Eddie provide an example in sports of a player being overrated. (1:27:21-1:52:09) – Sam King from the Lafayette Journal & Courier makes an appearance on the show with Brian Noe to discuss some of the important takeaways from Purdue’s first two wins in the NCAA Tournament. Sam also previews the upcoming challenges that the Houston Cougars bring, weighs in on the Matt Painter frisbee catching incident with the college basketball reporters after the win against McNeese, and explains the type of culture that Matt Painter has built. (1:52:09-1:58:49) – Brian shifts the conversation to the NFL with a pair of AFC South quarterbacks needing to show what type of player they are. Brian starts the conversation about Anthony Richardson needing to show something in a make-or-break season for his NFL career. As for C.J. Stroud, Brian is trying to decide whether he is an average QB or an elite QB. (1:58:49-2:07:22) – Today’s show closes with Brian and Eddie discussing whether the terms of NIL deals should be made public because Coleman Hawkins of Kansas State believes the amount of money he makes shouldn’t be out thereSupport the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Pastor Chat: The greatest attack on marriage that Satan has orchestrated is creating loneliness within it. Many married couples feel isolated—they're not having sex, not engaging in meaningful conversations, living like roommates, constantly arguing, and struggling to like each other. This leads to a deep sense of loneliness. This destruction is so significant because, when God created the first marriage between the first man and woman, He declared that it was not good for man to be alone. He designed marriage to provide companionship and to combat loneliness. When a husband and wife feel lonely within their marriage, Satan has successfully undermined one of the original purposes God intended for marriage. If you're married, take action. Don't let Satan win. Go to your spouse, express your love, seek to reconnect, rebuild your friendship, spend quality time together, and restore intimacy. You and your spouse were created to be companions, never to experience loneliness together. Don't allow Satan to bring isolation into your marriage. This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit www.public.newsHi Friends,Please enjoy my talk from the recent Alliance for Responsible Citizenship conference in London!MichaelI love AI. I use chat GPT every day, and I encourage my students to do the same. I'm particularly excited about AI's potential to help doctors diagnose diseases before we could otherwise. At the same time, I have to wonder: Is the cause of our problems a lack of intelligence? Will more AI help to solve them? Well, before we look at some of those big problems, I want to tell the story of Sam Bankman-Fried. Sam Bankman-Fried is serving a 25-year sentence for extraordinary, groundbreaking fraud. Towards the end, he tried to pin it on his ex-girlfriend. Does anybody doubt that Sam Bankman Freed was intelligent? My mother's father would say he was probably too smart for his own good. What about the German censorship police, who were just profiled a couple of days ago on 60 Minutes? Is the problem a lack of intelligence? I think we can imagine we've already seen the use of AI for mass censorship over the last several years. Now, the Germans are invading people's homes to look for Disfavored memes and speech that would be legal in all other parts of the world. Does the malady that afflicts the Germans have anything to do with intelligence? (My favorite part of this photo, by the way, is the apparent shame on their faces.)

Art shares his insights on the critical role of supply chain efficiency in e-commerce, emphasizing the pitfalls of excessive inventory. He explains how inventory often masks deeper operational issues and depreciates over time. Art introduces "Art's Law," which highlights the disproportionate complexity driven by a small percentage of sales. He offers actionable strategies, including evaluating low-performing SKUs, ensuring data integrity, and hiring data experts, to help e-commerce entrepreneurs streamline operations and drive sustainable growth. Here are the 3 action items that Josh identified from this episode:Action Item #1: Streamline SKUs to Reduce Complexity: Analyze your sales data to identify low-performing SKUs that add complexity without contributing significantly to revenue. Consider eliminating or consolidating these SKUs to simplify inventory management and lower operational costs.Action Item #2: Ensure High Data Accuracy for Effective Inventory Management: Aim for near-perfect data accuracy (99.999%) when managing inventory, especially if using third-party systems. Invest in software tools like Power BI to track and report data accurately in real-time.Action Item #3: Foster Strong Supplier Relationships for Reliability: Build long-term agreements with suppliers rather than relying on spot buying. Maintain open, regular communication to keep suppliers informed about your inventory needs and forecasts, ensuring better support and reliability.Resources mentioned in this episode:Six SigmaSo StockedInventory PlannerPower BIChatGPTThe Supply Chain Revolution: Unlocking the Sustainable Profit Chain by Art KochThe Long Game by Dorie ClarkArt Koch Management ConsultingThe Supply Chain RevolutionElon Musk in LinkedInSpecial Mention(s):Adam “Heist” Runquist on LinkedInKevin King on LinkedInMichael E. God has never encountered a problem or a crisis too big for Him to handle. He's never said, “Uh-oh.” So when we encounter something we can't handle, we need to look to our God who can handle anything. And today on A NEW BEGINNING, as Pastor Greg Laurie returns to our studies of the life of David, we'll see what happened when David faced a giant-sized problem. It's a familiar story, but sometimes we miss the practical application. That's Pastor Greg's focus as we begin today's study.
