The incident happened around 10 p.m. Residents reported hearing multiple gunshots, and when officers arrived, they discovered a deceased man in the breezeway of one of the buildings. It's believed that the victim may have sought help from residents before collapsing. A blood trail was found leading from the apartments to nearby woods. The incident occurred on August 17 around 3:22 p.m. The suspects were captured on a dash cam at 3525 Mall Boulevard, an area near the mall with various restaurants. They managed to take a handgun, cash, and checks from the victim's vehicle. Authorities believe the suspects may be driving a gray Kia K5 and a black Cadillac CTS. Those with information about the suspects or their whereabouts are urged to contact detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Rewards are offered for helpful information leading to arrests and indictments. Story 3: fraud Gwinnett County police are seeking a woman accused of committing fraud and stealing money using another person's identifying information. The incident occurred on June 14 at a Truist Bank on Pleasant Hill Road. The suspect used the victim's ID to withdraw $13,607 from the victim's account and cash a $6,111.23 check. The suspect is described as a Hispanic woman with dark hair, wearing a top featuring Minnie Mouse on the sleeves. The plan offers advancement opportunities and professional development, providing a career path for jail management and supervision. The Sheriff's Office also aims to address aging facility issues by requesting additional funding for six new civilian positions in facilities management, including maintenance and technical roles to reduce reliance on external vendors. Story 5: beta   Gwinnett County Public Schools has announced that 25 of its schools have been named 2022-2023 National Beta Schools of Distinction, while 29 schools have been recognized as 2022-2023 National Beta Schools of Merit. The first fire occurred on Spring Mesa Drive, where a family dog alerted the homeowner to the fire, enabling their escape. Unfortunately, the dog did not survive. One firefighter was evaluated for heat exhaustion, and the Red Cross is supporting the family during repairs. The second fire took place on Raintree Drive, caused by a grill on the back porch. The homeowner and a family member escaped and called 911 from a neighbor's house. Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services responded to the blaze on Tumble Wood Trail early Saturday morning. Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire and were informed by bystanders that there might be a victim inside. Despite their efforts, a deceased female was found in a bedroom along with two deceased family pets. The fire was determined to be accidental in nature by fire investigators. The incident left three people displaced, and they are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.  Story 3: car Gwinnett County police are seeking assistance in locating two men responsible for breaking into a car near Gwinnett Place Mall and stealing a gun, money, and checks. The incident occurred on August 17th at an outparcel adjacent to the mall. Surveillance footage captured the suspects on a dash cam. The police believe they were driving a gray Kia K5 passenger car and a black Cadillac CTS. Authorities urge anyone with information about the suspects' identities or whereabouts to contact detectives or Crime Stoppers, offering the option to remain anonymous. Greco's golf achievements include being selected as an all-county and Super Six player by the Daily Post in 2023. She secured a 34th place finish in the Class 7A golf competition during the previous season, and in her sophomore year, she earned all-county honors by coming in 22nd in the same class. Greco's dedication to both academics and athletics is evident through her maintenance of a GPA above 4.0.   Story 9:  wells   Jewel Wells of Mill Creek High School achieved a new course record at the Kowboys XC Invitational, leading her team to a second-place finish in the Florida event. Wells secured victory in the girls championship with a remarkable time of 19 minutes, 4.95 seconds in the 5K course. The Mill Creek Hawks earned 50 points, securing the runner-up position, while Sunlake (Fla.) won with 37 points. Mill Creek's Evelyn Schlitz took fifth place with a time of 19:56.94, and Lilly Kate Cropp claimed tenth place at 20:27.97. Three vehicles and a trailer are damaged, and two men were transported by ambulance with injuries, following a horrific high-speed crash Feb. 4 north of Floresville. According to Sgt. Kenny Mata with the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol (DPS), a 2012 Cadillac CTS travelling northbound on the highway at “speeds in excess of 100 mph” crashed into a 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck hauling a trailer as the truck was eastbound, crossing U.S. 181 onto C.R. 320, near East End Glass. Denise Pflum On March 28, 1986, 18 year old Denise Pflum left to return to the location of a party she attended on March 27, 1986 to look for her purse, but the owner of the property later reported that he never saw Denise that day. She asked her sister and her friends if one of them could go with her, but because none of them could go, she went on her own. She did not bring her identification, or the carrying case or cleaning solution for her contact lenses. Then she vanished. Esther Lucille Westenbarger On Nov. 11, 2009, Esther Westenbarger, a 51-year-old Ohio native who had recently moved to Kokomo to be closerto her family. She went out for a night on the town with some new friends. Police say she went bar-hopping at a few establishments and had a few drinks. She parked her 2005 gold Cadillac CTS at the Hoosier Bar on the north side of town and swung by Miller's Tavern, about a quarter of a mile away. At 1:30 a.m., she left Miller's. Friends thought she might have been headed to her car or the Hoosier Bar. On September 5th at 4:22 a.m., a Baytown officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a grey Cadillac CTS in the 6900 block of Garth Road. The vehicle was stopped for driving recklessly in the parking lot of 6901 Garth Road. The vehicle evaded the officer and traveled south bound on Garth Road at a high rate of speed. The officer pursued the vehicle until it reached Decker Drive. The vehicle was last seen traveling north on Decker Drive. And speaking of the General, it looks like the company will adopt a modular approach with its platforms, similar to Volkswagen’s strategy.
