Luton Town ended 178 days without an away win when they won 2-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday evening. Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe and Town fan Mark Crowther to look back on the archetype game of two halves. The lads go through the difficult watch of the opening period before getting stuck into the second half where the game of football actually broke out. They pick out the key moments, praise a number of performers and the man who had a huge influence on the game. The podcast then concludes with Mark updating us on his latest charity challenge which he will be continuing on Saturday. The match against the Bluebirds at the Cardiff City Stadium was always going to pose a unique challenge For The Cherries, not least because the majority of their side were over 6ft - but enough of that tall story, because a Mick McCarthy side is always going to well drilled, work hard, and they’ll also be dogged. So to be able to get three points of the Welsh side would be massive, and whilst most of us were hoping we’d be chinking our glasses in celebratory mood with a "Iechyd Da", many Boscombe fans admitted that they’d actually be fairly content with a point. But Bournemouth showed a side to their game they should be really proud of as we created a host of chances in a clinical and formulaic display, and when you look at the way the home side were stunted, people of a certain tactical mindset might look back at this game as the performance of the season so far. In this podcast, Sam Davis is joined by Tom Jordan and Jeff Hayward to discuss events in South Wales as the Cherries came away with an excellent 1-0 win. In the latest programme of the monthly series, Mishal Husain introduces dispatches from journalists and writers around the United Kingdom reflecting contemporary life. When lockdown dramatically curtailed orders, those businesses providing perishable products suffered particularly badly. Artisan cheese-makers had been growing in rural Wales creating much needed jobs there in recent years. But what does the future hold? BBC Radio Cymru's Garry Owen visited one cheese-maker in Carmarthenshire to find out. As well as foodstuffs, farmers responsible for other products - such as wool - have been affected by the consequences of Covid-19. In places like the Scottish borders, where sheep are currently being shorn, fleeces are worth nothing - even less than that after allowing for their transport. John Forsyth has been to the Ettrick Valley in the Scottish borders and spoke to producers and wool graders. What is it like to like with the after-effects of brain surgery? Each year at this time, the children's writer, Caroline Golding, reflects on the removal over twenty years ago of a tumour she had and how her thinking about the experience and what it meant has evolved. Finally being able to bury his brother whose funeral took place just before lockdown has prompted Martin Vennard to consider how the place where they both lived still tells the story of the times they shared. And Tim Hartley, profoundly missing his regular visit to the Cardiff City Stadium to watch his favourite team play in the EFL Championship, understandably jumped at the chance to see them recently in a vital match. But the experience for this football veteran turned out to be a salutary one. Producer: Simon Coates

Welcome back to another Coleman Had A Dream podcast! Following the FAW re-running all the qualifiers in the build up to Euro 2016, we are watching and discussing the games. Up today, are two of the most important games, certainly in the modern history, of Welsh football. After a great start to the group where Wales had won two and drawn two, we came up against an Israel team who had won their opening three qualifying games. They had beaten Andorra, Cyprus and most impressively, top seeds Bosnia and Herzegovina. Wales were to go clear top of the group after this game following a stunning 3-0 win. An apparently out of form (if you were to read the pre match media chatter) Gareth Bale scored a brace, whilst Aaron Ramsey scored a gorgeous header on the stroke of half time. With three points in our pockets Wales headed home, and later in the year (June) came up against a very talented and exciting Belgium side. The Welsh had previously had an hard fought 0-0 draw out in Belgium, but this time went one better when Gareth Bale collected a misplaced backpass and sent the Cardiff City Stadium into raptures. Two games which put us on the road to Euro 2016. In the words of Rob Phillips, “catch us if you can”. Dai and Ruth talk through the games, the tactics, the lineups and the sheer excitement of it all. For Dai, it was well and truly an “I was there” moment. A great fun walk down memory lane….

Well, what a relief that was. After a 17-day break, which followed three Premier League defeats on the spin, Everton returned to action and returned to winning ways tonight with a 3-0 victory at Cardiff City which, come the end, was every bit as comfortable as the final scoreline suggested. Two goals from top-scorer Gylfi Sigurdsson and one from Dominic Calvert-Lewin ensured the Blues stopped the rot and set themselves up nicely for Sunday’s Merseyside at Goodison Park. But this podcast concentrates on what happened at the Cardiff City Stadium and starts with the verdict of our Everton FC correspondent and reporter, Phil Kirkbride and Adam Jones. You'll then hear host Paul Wheelock's conversation with Cardiff-based Everton season-ticket holder Matthew Barry, who for once had a short trip home after attending tonight’s match. Before the podcast ends with the full audio from Marco Silva’s press conference who I’m sure speaks for us all when he says he hopes the result turns around the Blues’ season. And, before we go, just to let you know some tickets remain for our first-ever Royal Blue Live event, held at the Baltic Market in Liverpool city centre on Wednesday (February 27).Tickets cost £5, include a free drink, and can be purchased by clicking HERE. Marcus Stead and his friend James Easton (Charlton Athletic fan, real ale aficionado and Brexiteer) went to the Mount Stuart pub in Cardiff Bay and recorded their conversation for Talk Podcasts listeners. The chat began on a sombre note as they reflected on their visit to the memorial to Emiliano Sala at the Cardiff City Stadium earlier in the day. They then moved on to discuss the disconnect between professional football clubs and the fans, the delights of non-league football, the rise and rise of PDC darts, and where the JD Wetherspoon name really came from.

Gab Marcotti and Natalie Sawyer are joined by Matt Hughes and Paul Hirst after a good weekend for the Manchester clubs. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sensational performance as interim manager at Old Trafford makes the possibility of him not being given the job permanently more and more improbable. After another victory over Leicester, would the appointment of anybody other than Ole cause uproar? And could anybody have done what Solskjaer has done? Pep proves to be unpredictable again at the Etihad, fielding Fernandinho at centre-half. Is this another example of Guardiola’s tactical flexibility or a more long-term solution? Plus what next for Emery’s Arsenal? There were emotional scenes at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday, at Cardiff’s first home game since the disappearance of record signing Emiliano Sala. We discuss what the transfer of Sala has revealed about the inner workings of football and ask why are there so many people involved in these deals?
