After leading the Bulls to their first postseason victories since 2003 - when she was a player for USF - Shepardson received a contract extension.

After the nearly half-hour conversation, Darek and Michael discuss some major news from the last week with Abdul Rasheed-Saminu wrapping up the 2023-24 sports season with a First Team All-American performance at the NCAA Track & Field Championships, and both Men's Basketball Coach Amir Abdur-Rahim and Volleyball's Jolene Shepardson getting contract extensions.
Note - this was Friday morning's show, after which Abdul Rasheed-Saminu wrapped up the Bulls 2023-24 season with a sensational performance, within an hour of each other posting 5th place in the 100-meter run, and then 3rd in the 200 meters.
