Ihre Biografie sei typisch für die Grünen: Nach einer schmerzhaften Niederlage wieder aufzustehen und weiterzumachen, sei sinnbildlich für die Partei. Aufgeben sei für sie keine Option. Mazzone will keine Co-Leitung, sie will das Amt alleine übernehmen. Bislang ist sie die einzige Kandidatin. Die Wahl durch die Delegierten findet am 6. April statt.
