This week, Ryan Patrick Murphy shares a message from Genesis 2 and Genesis 3:8 titled "In the Cool of the Garden, Pt. 1." Preached on Pentecost Sunday, this opening message of a new series frames the Christian life around one of Scripture's most intimate images: God walking with Adam and Eve in the cool of the garden — and the invitation to return to that kind of daily, conversational closeness with the Father.Ryan traces the arc from creation to Pentecost, beginning in Genesis 2 with God forming humanity from dust and breathing His Spirit — His ruach — into us, establishing from the very beginning that we were made to be full of God. If you know God's Voice, the Lord will use you for assignments when no one else knows what to do. Hearing God is not magic. It's not rigid. It's something that must be searched out to be truly found. Other people's methods will not work for you. There is something unique God wants to birth in you. There are different methods and ways the Lord wants to speak to you. Many times, He is teaching us how to look at things before speaking clearly or God is wanting reveal Himself to us more so we can take in what He is trying to say. Hearing God's Voice is meant to be personal and intimate. We cannot demand or manufacture an answer from God. His voice is both familiar and unique every time we hear Him speak.

What if we could pray in a way that bypassed the noise of the world? Pastor Paul shares scriptural, practical, and personal ways that speaking in tongues helps us hear and respond to God. This week's episode from Galatians 5:22–26 focuses on the Fruit of the Spirit and the truth that real spiritual transformation comes not through human effort, but through the work of the Holy Spirit in those who belong to Christ. Using the imagery of trees and fruit, we saw that good fruit is the result of being made a “new creation” in Christ and then remaining close in relationship with Him by faith. Rather than trying harder in our own strength, believers are called to keep in step with the Spirit through our relationship with Him, which can be developed through Hearing God's Word with faith, Spending Time with God, Fellowshipping with the Saints, Sharing the gospel with the lost. We also explored how the Spirit produces the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in our lives for the glory of God and the blessing of others.
