THE FIA DEFEND F1 MARSHALL INTERVENTION AND...FERNANDO DOES NOT LIKE THE VEGAS GRAND PRIX IN. NOVEMBER! THE NASIR HAMEED CORNER HAS MORE CLASSIC F1 HISTORY AND, OUR INTERVIEW...CARLOS BOBADA , ATLANTIC SERIES TEAM OWNER. MAX VERSTAPPEN: “Everything went really smooth today and we did well to keep the tyres alive. It was great to get the win here and we had a very good day. The last few laps were very strong, we made no mistakes and had good communication with the pit wall throughout. Our start was really good and Lando was a bit late on the brakes. It was important to get ahead as we were able to then do our own thing and stay really consistent. During the race, the Mediums felt better than expected and we did a decent stint first which made things easier when we got on to the Hard compound. It was a good race for us, we had good pace and everything worked really well. For the next few races we just need to do the best we can and keep trying to win as many races until the end of the year and maximise everything we can. I had fun out there today.” LAURENT MEKIES, CEO & Team Principal “Everyone in the Team and back in Milton Keynes can be proud. The car was fast at a track where we struggled a bit last year and this weekend no one had time to properly prepare because Thursday's practice was somewhat disturbed, as was FP3. The car was fast, our tyre management was up to the job and our execution was very strong. When Max needed to push, he did and was able to bring more to the table. This is a race like no other with the low temperatures and the track layout and tonight, Max and the Team mastered it. As for the start, Max is unbeatable when it comes to this sort of move, so we are no longer surprised! But there were a few critical moments in the race, when George pitted while we and Lando stayed out, but everyone managed it to perfection. As for Yuki, we paid the price for what happened yesterday. Today, we made it, a win is a win, so now we will reset and look ahead to Qatar with the same objective of extracting everything from our package.” George Kurtz becomes co-owner of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team through minority acquisition in Toto Wolff ownership entity, appointed Technology Advisor. Business innovator and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner invests in the future of the Mercedes- Las Vegas, NV, and Brackley, UK – November 20, 2025 – The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team and George Kurtz, CEO and Founder of CrowdStrike, today announced that Kurtz has become a co-owner of the team and been appointed Technology Advisor. Through his personal acquisition of a 15% minority interest in the ownership entity controlled by Toto Wolff, which holds one-third of the team in partnership with Mercedes-Benz and INEOS, Kurtz joins Mercedes-Benz, INEOS, and Toto Wolff in the team's long-term ownership group. Kurtz also joins the team's strategic steering committee alongside Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG Ola Källenius, INEOS Group Founder and Chairman Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and Toto Wolff. The governance of the team remains unchanged, and Wolff continues in all existing executive roles. He understands both the demands of racing and the realities of building and scaling technology businesses. That combination brings specific insight that is increasingly relevant to the future of Formula One.” ASTON MARTIN ARAMCO, ARTISTS EQUITY AND WHISPER TEAM UP WITH MARK STEWART PRODUCTIONS FOR ADRIAN NEWEY F1 DOCUMENTARY. Silverstone, UK, 20 November 2025: – Aston Martin Aramco, The Whisper Group and Mark Stewart Productions (MSP) today announced an exciting collaboration with Artists Equity to deliver Turbulence: The Greatest Mind in F1® (working title), a documentary telling the incredible story of Adrian Newey, the world's greatest ever race car designer, as he sets out on his ambitious journey of  advancing Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team to the front of the grid. The documentary will be produced in collaboration with Aston Martin Aramco and F1®. With an extraordinary 12 World Constructors' Championships and 14 World Drivers' Championships to his credit, F1 fans revere Adrian as an era-defining genius. Turbulence follows Newey into the next chapter of his career after he surprised the motorsports world at the beginning of 2025 by leaving Red Bull to join Aston Martin Aramco. Given his unprecedented run of success over the last three decades, the expectations and pressure as he joins Aston Martin Aramco are sky-high. With exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the team's Silverstone campus, the film will follow Adrian as he attempts to design a World Championship challenging car for the relentlessly ambitious British brand, led by owner Lawrence Stroll. This contemporary narrative will be intercut with scenes exploring the triumphs and heartbreaking tragedies of Adrian's truly astonishing career. Turbulence will transcend motorsport and explore universal human themes of ambition, sacrifice, tragedy, and redemption. Adrian Newey, Managing Technical Partner, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team: “When Mark Stewart approached me about making a docu film, whilst flattered I was initially not sure whether to accept. However, one of the touching things about my 2017 autobiography is the number of letters I have received, relaying how much the book had sparked their interest in and appreciation of the design and engineering that goes into racing cars, how interactive the car design is with the drivers, and how much success is about mindset. “Hopefully this film can portray the passion, the working practice, the strength of mind that is involved in bringing an F1 car to the grid. The film charts the challenges I have faced in joining a new team in early March to prepare for what is arguably the biggest regulation change in F1 history. It also delves into the story behind my career up to this point and how it has helped to prepare me for this enormous challenge. “It's been a wild ride so far, but F1 never stands still. I hope that the film will capture some of that  restless energy, and our constant drive towards improved performance.”

Another key sign that the copycat era of Team Silverstone is over. No more Pink Mercedes or Green Red Bull! That ambition raises the stakes for Lance Stroll. If the AMR26 is quick and Alonso turns it into regular podiums or wins, every missed result becomes a spotlight on the Canadian, even moreso than 2023. Dr Donald Lyall narrates his blog written for Dementia Researcher. In this guest blog, Donald draws lessons from legendary F1 designer Adrian Newey and the Race Against Dementia summit. Reflecting on Newey's philosophy of learning from failure, teamwork, data integrity, and time for focused thought, Lyall shows how these principles can inform dementia research. By connecting motorsport precision with scientific collaboration, he highlights how structured creativity and belief in the mission can accelerate progress in diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. Aston Martin's future in Formula 1 looked bleak...but then Adrian Newey turned up. Climb the ladder with me on Patreon: https://patreon.com/lawvsAston Martin nearly missed the boat on the 2026 F1 regulations before legendary designer Adrian Newey arrived to overhaul the project. Newey's arrival came just in time with the team WAY behind on development thanks to, perhaps, major crises the last two seasons. How IS he taking control of every aspect of the AMR26? Why do both Fernando Alonso and Andy Cowell believe this could be a turning point for the team? Has the team managed to turn the corner simply with his presence in place...it certainly seems so!The drama of Lance Stroll's negativity is there though, plus the pressure of Alonso's legacy, we cover the real challenges here and what needs to happen for Aston Martin to avoid another season of frustration. Let's jump right into our Quick Hits! First up, that F1 movie is hitting theaters on June 27th. Get ready, because due to insane demand, Warner Bros. and IMAX are actually expanding the Fan-First Premiere Screenings of Apple Original Film F1 to 400 IMAX locations worldwide. And guess what? We've got one right here in Coquitlam! Shifting gears to the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, it's wild to think that since 2016, only two drivers have taken the win there: Max Verstappen in 2016, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and Lewis Hamilton in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Also, make sure to check out F1: The Academy when it drops on Netflix on May 28th. Fun fact: the last McLaren driver to win in Monaco was Lewis Hamilton back in 2008, the very year he became champion! Huge congrats are also in order for Spaniard Alex Palou for his Indy 500 win over Marcus Ericsson. That was his first-ever oval win, and he's been on fire, winning 5 out of 6 races and leading the championship by a whopping 108 points! Now, about Imola's future on the calendar... it's a bit up in the air with Madrid joining next year. Imola's contract is up, and there's talk about whether they'll get an extra year after missing 2023 due to flooding. Word on the street is F1 asked for a cool 60 million Euros to keep the race going. Just a heads-up, Barcelona's contract wraps up after 2026. On the partnership front, we've got some new big names! Pepsi has officially joined as an Official Partner of F1, with Sting Energy stepping in as the official Energy Drink, and Gatorade becoming the Official Partner of F1 Sprint. Moving onto a quick recap of the Monaco Grand Prix. If you want all the details, you can find full analysis on Wikipedia and Motorsport.com. Stefano Domenicali has actually come out defending F1's Monaco GP tire change rule after some drivers voiced their criticism. And even though some folks called it a "garbage race," the ABC/ESPN ratings in the US were absolutely massive, pulling in the largest live audience ever for a Monaco Grand Prix telecast! Our main topic for discussion today is a big one: How can we actually fix the Monaco Grand Prix? We'll be diving into some feasible ways to create more overtaking opportunities and exploring proposed changes to the circuit itself to try and save the Grand Prix. In other F1 news, we'll be asking the question: Does Lewis Hamilton need a new engineer? We'll also share the full radio exchange from Hamilton's pretty frustrating Monaco GP. Mattia Binotto has admitted that Audi "won't have the best power unit" in 2026. Plus, Adrian Newey suggests Max Verstappen will "always chase the fastest car" amidst all the speculation about a switch to Aston Martin. And finally, we'll be speculating if big things are coming for Ferrari with a new wing! And to wrap things up, a quick Spanish GP Preview! Fernando Alonso has become an ambassador for the Circuit de Barcelona, and he's pretty confident it'll be around for the next 3-4 decades, even if there are two Spanish GPs in 2026, as he sees the others as temporary. Also, F1 is reportedly clamping down on flexi-wings at the Spanish GP. Join the conversation! Follow us on X @ScuderiaF1Pod Subscribe to the Scuderia F1 Podcast wherever you get your podcasts. Aston Martin's hopes for 2025 with the new AMR 25 are discussed in the latest edition of The Race F1 Podcast.Jon Noble joins Edd Straw to examine why this year's car is important for Aston Martin if it's to deliver on the high-expectations for 2025, and what the team needs to do to prove its on the right track. We explain why Adrian Newey's impact is yet to come, and highlight the role Andy Cowell has played in changing the way the team works in a way that should hopefully ensure it has an easier-to-drive car this year. Finally, Gary Anderson, who was the founding technical director of this team in its Jordan guise, joins us to offer his in-depth technical analysis of the car.SPECIAL OFFER: Get 90% off your first month when you join The Race Members' Club on Patreon today - we even have an F1-only tier! Edd Straw is joined by Mark Hughes and Ben Anderson to discuss what is arguably F1's biggest non-driver signing of all time: Adrian Newey to Aston Martin. They discuss why one of the greatest technical minds in F1 history, who could have joined more-or-less any team he fancied, has made the decision to join Aston Martin. They also explain how Aston owner Lawrence Stroll got his man - and what he can expect for his money. Edd, Mark and Ben also discuss the particulars of Newey's Aston role and why it's different to what many expected, plus they talk in detail about the impact Newey might have, including whether he's the missing piece in Aston's ‘galactico' team structure, how his arrival might motivate Fernando Alonso, the pressure on him to deliver, and why rival teams might be fearing what he will bring to the table in both the short- and long-term...  Want extra podcast content?
