Kerry Ellis is In The Frame!Kerry is preparing to perform her latest solo show Queen Of The West End at the Vaudeville Theatre on 21st April as part of Westway Music's season of concerts. Later in the year Kerry is taking the show on another extensive tour of the UK. The Braw and The Brave is a podcast about people and their passions. Episode 194 is in conversation with Lisa McKechnie whose passion for performing began at just 4 years old, when she featured on a GMTV talent competition. A naturally gifted vocalist, she began to pursue more opportunities to share her talents and at age 14 sang at ‘Live & Loud' to an audience of 32,000 at Hampden stadium alongside artists such as Daniel Beddingfiend, Blue and Rachel Stevens. Kerry Ellis. Broadway and West End Star, Singer, Actress, Mother of two and a loving wife. But who is behind the brand of Kerry Ellis, and what is life really like as a West End star, and a Mother, especially during lockdown? Kerry has fast become recognised as the leading lady of West End musicals from her starring roles in London and on Broadway. She was the first British Elphaba in the West End smash, Wicked, for which Kerry won the 2008 Whatsonstage.com Award for ‘Best Takeover in a Role'.
