Après Que ma joie demeure, la metteuse en scène Clara Hédouin adapte la courte nouvelle de Jean Giono écrite en 1929, Prélude de Pan.  C'est une nouvelle assez peu connue de l'écrivain Jean Giono que la metteuse en scène adapte cette année. Un texte né des promenades de Jean Giono sur les contreforts de Manosque, ces collines sauvages, sur les contreforts du Lubéron. La metteuse en scène Clara Hédouin sort du théâtre pour nous faire entendre cette langue dans la nature. Le Prélude de Pan est une nouvelle "fantastique", un concentré de poésie publiée en 1929. Tout commence par un gros orage et l'arrivée d'un étranger... Cette nouvelle nous parle de notre rapport aux autres animaux et la manière dont ces bêtes viennent se mélanger à notre humanité, mais aussi du lien entre l'Homme, la Nature et le climat. On a été frappé par cette écriture aujourd'hui. Elle semble faire résonner beaucoup de questions qui sont les nôtres à une heure où les catastrophes climatiques se multiplient. Clara Hédouin  "Un concentré de Que ma joie demeure" selon les mots de Clara Hédouin. Un roman que la metteuse en scène connait bien puisqu'elle l'avait adapté au Festival d'Avignon en 2023 : une longue déambulation de six heures en pleine nature.    Le spectacle se déroule dans la Plaine de l'Abbaye, de l'autre côté du Rhône à Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Issu d'un milieu modeste, il est d'abord employé de banque avant de se consacrer à l'écriture.
