Wednesday's AOA began with Andy Campbell, Industry Trends Analyst with TractorZoom, who discussed the moves they're seeing in the used equipment market. John Baranick, Meteorologist with DTN Weather, joined the show next to discuss the transition from La Nina to El Nino, and what American farmers will notice. For segment 3, Arlan Suderman of StoneX discussed yesterday's WASDE report from USDA and the impact on grain prices going forward. The show closed with Lance Knutson, Manvel, ND farmer with a look at winter's impact in the Red River Valley of the North.

Kendrick Crumedy returned to his alma mater as the new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for the Jasper Bulldogs. Prior to returning to Jasper offensive coordinator (since 2016), strength and conditioning coordinator and head track coach for Manvel High School. His other accomplishments include: 123-19 record as a varsity coach 68-11 record as the offensive coordinator His record as a coach at Manvel includes 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020 trips to the 6A/5A State Quarterfinals and a 2017 appearance in the state championship game. As head track coach he has won 2 state championships. As recruiting coordinator, he has helped over 50 athletes get D1 scholarships. Just how big is high school football in the state of Texas? Is winning the Texas State Title for football the hardest thing to do in high school sports? Where did his love of the game of football begin and what does the word “Character” mean to Coach Allen.Coach recalls playing in the state championship in 1967 and the controversy of the last second decision the seniors made and the result that occurred. Hear about attending SMU, playing under Coach Hayden Fry and why he feels SMU was the right decision for him and where he is today. What he took from being under Coach Merrill Green who is a Texas HS Football Hall of Fame Coach and how he helped him get a head job. We hear stories from days at Ballinger HS and then the process of getting hired at Brownwood HS following a coaching legend in Gordon Wood. Coach then gets hired back at his alma mater of Abilene Cooper and how he turned that program around along with his feelings of getting them back to the state championship for the first time since his playing days in 1967. What the rich tradition is at Highland Park HS, what he felt after winning his first state championship in 2005 on an undefeated season. From there they have gone on to win three straight state titles from 2016-2018. How the game has changed in Coach Allen's time in the game of football. Losing the defending State Champion Shadow Creek, 10-5A D1 adds the perennial power Manvel back from division 2. Hightower, Foster, and Angleton still remain. We talk to Foster head Coach Shaun McDowell and Manvel HC Kevin Hall talk about the competition in this district. We deep dive into all things this district has to offer.

Brianna Turner is a WNBA player for the Phoenix Mercury. She played at Notre Dame from 2015-2019. Brianna talks about growing up in Pearland, Texas, how she got into basketball, her excellent high school career at Westbury Christian and Manvel, winning Gatorade Player of the Year and getting to attend the ESPYs, and winning 5 gold medals playing USA Basketball. She describes the recruiting process, why she picked Notre Dame, starting right away for the program, the interesting game in Houston, dealing with the injuries she faced, and what it was like to redshirt in 2018 when Notre Dame won the National Championship. She talks about coming back for 2019, getting a huge block in the Final Four against UConn, getting drafted in the 2019 WNBA draft, and what her experience with the Phoenix Mercury has been like so far.

THE 2019-20 SEASON Marshall's first season was supposed to be a rebuild, however, the Mavericks proved all year-long to be formidable opponents. They finished third in an extremely competitive district before making a successful playoff run, reaching the regional quarterfinals. Manvel finished the year with a record of 23-11. PRIOR TO MANVEL Marshall comes to Manvel by way of Cedar Ridge High School where he was the associate head coach. During his tenure, the Raiders posted consecutive 25-win campaigns and made it to the regional quarterfinals in both seasons. Previous coaching stops include Williowridge, Morton Ranch, Vista Ridge, and Taylor. PERSONAL Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Marshall credits his "Windy City" upbringing with shaping his coaching style and philosophy. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008 and his Master's Degree from the University of Houston in 2011. Marshall is married to his high school sweetheart, Tiffani. Last weekends epic 5A D1 championship game between Highland Park and Manvel. Highland Park won the contest 53-49 but there were no losers as both teams fought to the end. Taylor was the first ever recipient from a losing team to win the Defensive MVP award. Taylor talks about what it meant to play if a game that will be talked about for generations.
