Welcome back to The Navy SEAL Mindset Podcast. In episode 27, we're diving into the power of solving the right problems, managing chaos, and leading effectively. I'm your host, William Branham, and today I'll be walking you through some lessons from my time as an instructor in the Modern Day Knight Project and sharing how leadership, both on the battlefield and in everyday life, is about focusing on the real problem—not just the symptoms.Key Takeaways:The Value of Titles vs. Results: Leadership isn't about your title—it's about the results you create. We explore why titles are just words and what really matters is the impact you have on your team and the world.Chaos as a Tool for Leadership: Hear how we use controlled chaos in the Modern Day Knight Project to challenge participants and test their problem-solving skills under pressure.Solving the Root Problem: Whether in business or relationships, we often focus on fixing symptoms rather than identifying and addressing the real problem. Learn how to dig deeper and resolve the core issues for lasting success.Teamwork and Communication: Effective leadership is about sharing solutions and ensuring everyone knows how to tackle problems together. No one succeeds alone, and real growth happens when teams solve problems as a unit.I challenge you to look at the problems in your life, both personal and professional. Are you addressing the symptoms, or are you going after the root of the issue? Fix the problem, not just the pain. --------------WANT TO THINK LIKE A NAVY SEAL AND UNLOCK YOUR POTENTIAL? "Man Camps" seem to be popping up everywhere You know, those three day ordeals where you pay $10-20k to be yelled at by ex-SEALS or Ranger Regiment guys Remember that scene in the movie Men in Black, where a new member was being sought? When one of the candidates was asked why he was there and he said "We're here because you're looking for the best of the best of the best, Sir!" The words "looking for" don't make it seem like there's a whole lot of training going on . . . How about a real-life example? To become a Special Forces soldier, you first have to pass the Special Forces Assesment and Selection course -- ASSESMENT and SELECTION -- NOT the "we're gonna teach you how to man up and be a green beret course" So the question is, do these "man camps" actually MAKE men? Or are they just tough guy tests, that only weed out the weak and don't change anything about a person? Most importanly, is the way to BECOME the man your family deserves a completely different, much harder and, most importantly, ONGOING process? As a person who was raised to be weak, then went on a quest to become a man, including being selected at the Special Forces Qualification Course, as well as having spoken to somoeone who actually attended Bedros Keuilian's Modern Day Knight Project, I want to offer my unique perspective on how to become a REAL man in this episode of The Kill It Podcast -- Make sure you go to https://BrotherhoodOfBeasts.com or https://ChristopherBobRoberts.com to get on the waiting list for The Brotherhood if you are listening to this podcaast before the 3rd of June 2024 or, if you are listening after the launch, to check The Brotherhood out and decide if you want to become a member. Don't forget to subscribe to The Kill It Podcast wherever you prefer to listen to podcasts and, aside from that, thanks for listening and I'll talk to you guys again in the next episode!

In true Dave Morrow fashion, I YOLO'ed into a massive new challenge that scares the shit out of me. It's called the Modern Day Knight Project hosted by Bedros Keuilian. This project is based upon the Navy SEAL "Hell Week" and puts you through the gears over 75 hours. As you'll see, the real deal Navy SEALs are in your face creating chaos in your heart and soul. The goal is to see if I can still endure suffering and remind my body and mind that my comfortable existence is a recipe for complacency. As always, my coach, LP Boudreault, will be planning out my progressions and I'll be documenting the journey right here. Be sure to subscribe for more updates. Erin is a men's lifestyle and transformation coach. He is a man of faith, student of fitness, host of The High-Value Man Podcast, instructor and co-founder of The Modern Day Knight Project, a men's 75-hour personal development experience, and co-founder and instructor for The Squire Program, a father and son rite of passage. Erin is here on a mission to build better men. Erin also preaches on four pillars of living a fulfilled life: Faith, Family, Fitness, and Finances. He also has a 10-year vision plan with a statement that he says a couple of times a day, which is “I will achieve a hundred million dollar business within the next 10 years by deploying the high-value man program and formula and serving 10,000 men on the mission to becoming the best versions of themselves.” Take-Aways from Erin: It's essential to use your Talents and Treasures to build your Golden Thread It is vital to have mentors and a strong group of men with the same values around you Two books that helped change his trajectory--Emotional Intelligence 2.0 and No More Mr. Nice Guy God gave you the gift to think intelligently, to steward your body in such a way, and to live in alignment with your values. Write down a vision plan and then SMART goals to take action on what you want your life to look like. You should write down your vision for 2 years, then 5, then 10. It has to be a visual for what you want. People struggle with self-worth and identity because they haven't put in the work. People, specifically men, lose their identity over time from a young age because they never ask themselves, “Deep purposeful questions of who I am and who do I want to be.” Every man is flawed but there is a perfect model of masculinity and it's Jesus. When you put God at the foundation of everything you're doing, your relationships will increase. God prepares you for your life's mission by giving you lots of opportunities to test your character and build your strength. Be the change. If you see something that needs to be changed, be that example. Be that leader. Be that lighthouse. Quit making excuses of why you are not being the person that you want to be because you're wasting precious time that you could be stewarding other people to their own success and greatness and being an example for others. Most men my age had similar upbringings: "Suck it up. Be tough. Anger is bad. Aggression? Even worse." As we grew up, we were encouraged to stifle that which makes us men and as a result, many have opted for convenience and comfort over challenge and growth. That's why I'm excited to share today's amazing conversation with Ray “Cash” Care, which will help you break out of that box, turn rage and aggression into your greatest gift, explore outside the boundaries you set in your mind, and discover who you truly are. Ray Cash Care is a former Navy Seal, Actor, Lead Instructor at the Modern Day Knight Project with Bedros Keuilian and PUSHUP MASTER who does 1320 pushups in an hour! Ray joins me on today's podcast to discuss the mindset of an elite military operator both in and out of service. Ray goes through many of his acronyms that he lives by which lead to his success and how we can all apply some or all of it to our lives. Ray gets after it and makes the most of every minute. He is grateful and thankful and does not rest. He is 50 years old and in better shape than most people of any age because he is constantly sharpening his blade. Just as an example, Ray does 6320 pushups every week. That is 1000 per day and then 1320 on Saturdays with his Instagram community. 1320 is an important number because that represents the 22 veterans and First Responders who commit suicide per day. He does 22 pushups every minute on the minute for 60 minutes. If you want to get after it like Ray you can be coached by him. Follow him on Instagram @raycashcare. Tell him you heard this podcast ! “Action alleviates anxiety." Bedros Keuilian has been one of my biggest inspirations and I have to admit I was fan-girling big time during this interview. He is a legend in the fitness industry and the author of one of my favorite books, "MAN UP." Growing up poor and being bullied as an overweight immigrant kid filled him with rage and he channeled this to become a man with something to prove to himself and the world. I am amazed he can be humble despite all his luminous accomplishments and was jumping for joy when he said yes to being on the show. He is a sought after Keynote Speaker, Business Consultant, Founder of the Modern Day Knight Project, CEO and Founder of Fit Body Boot Camp and more than anything, he is one of the best humans I have ever, ever met. A true rags to riches story of a self made entrepreneur who escaped communism, came to the United States, ate out of dumpsters and built several multiple million dollar generating global brands and businesses, Bedros Keuilian is the mastermind behind many of the most successful brands, businesses, thought leaders and best-selling authors throughout multiple industries. Odds are you’ve seen his international franchise Fit Body Boot Camp in your town, or his coaching and consulting clients on hit TV shows featured on ABC, NBC, Spike TV, in popular magazines, & on top of the New York Times Bestseller list. In this episode, Bedros shares the details of how being an immigrant, healing from abuse, and owning his power and worth have transformed his life. I can't wait for you to be inspired by his story and wisdom. Here’s what you will learn: How Bedros’ father left communist Armenia to become American (3:21) Using your darkest times to fuel your passion and drive (8:33) How grit is built (10:29) Overcoming an anxiety attack(16:36) How to heal trauma (22:41) Why writing a letter to your child-self helps you to heal (27:20) How Bedros managed things through the pandemic with his business (35:26) How to become a better leader (40:53) How to build your confidence (43:26) Screenshot your favorite part and post to your IG story and tag me @amberlylagomotivation and @bedroskeuilian so we can see and repost to our stories! Erin "The Fit Beard" Alejandrino is a man of wise words and deep thoughts. He has a unique way that he thinks that not only helps level you up, but makes you want to be a better human.Vice President of True Lean Nutrition, cofounder of "The Modern Day Knight Project" and cohost of the podcast "Meathead and the Monk."In this episode Erin talks about how serving others not only helps them but it also helps the person that is doing the helping and that is OK! As Erin says, as we see others grow we grow. What a profound statement. His foundation of his growth was martial arts and fitness. Men in his opinion need to have a foundation around fitness, whether its martial arts or lifting weights. Be willing to be a white belt. Be willing to learn from others and grow. without a physical practice though, our foundation as men is limited. We jumped around to how we cope with drugs, alcohol and sex. We talked about how abstaining from sex helps us create as men enormous amounts of creative energy and helps us push through.I am so honored to have my brother Erin Alejandrino as a guest and to call him family!
