Martin Eyerer on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 6/14/22 About Martin Eyerer - For more than 30 years Martin Eyerer has traveled heavily around the globe as a DJ and producer. His more than 150 releases on the hottest labels like Renaissance, My Favorite Robot, Get Physical, Rejected order on his own imprint Kling Klong are bought and played on continents from Australia, Asia to North and South America and of course Europe. Countless sales and other chart positionings as well as media feedback prove that impressively. As a producer Martin has something to show as well: Gold Albums in UK and Australia and a top 3 US Billboard chart ranking have a great effect here. As a mixing and mastering engineer Martin has run a respectable analog studio for 15 years, which has an established standing especially in the electronic music scene. After moving from Stuttgart to Berlin in August 2012 Martin and his partners Jade Souaid and Tassilo Ippenberger opened together the Riverside Studios – a 2000 m2 complex in the heart of Berlin. With direct river views and the neighborhood to clubs like Berghain, Watergate, Kater Blau, Tresor or Weekend it became one of the hotspots of Berlin's music scene. Of course Martin has his space there, too. On 100 m2 he brought his studio to the next level. The restoration of his legendary Amek M 3000 Console that was formerly owned by Pink Floyd in the seventies completed it surely. By the end of 2013 Martin Eyerer startet to work on his 3rd longplayer including interesting and already confirmed corporations withPrincess Superstar, Abby, Knixx and Ruede Hagelstein. End of 2014 the album – Struktur – was released on Martin‘s very own label Kling Klong and received huge feedback from the music scene. A few more releases on labels like Get Physical, Saved and Rejected followed the 4 singles of the album in 2015 and a global tour that lead Martin once more around the world. In 2016 releases on my favorite robot, Bedrock, Danse UK, Suara and Kling Klong were released and played all over the globe. The most successful one was Martin Eyerer & Ackermann feat Craig Walker – former singer from the band Archive. Originals and the kaiserdisco remix hit the Beatport Top 20. 2017 was full of successful releases: An EP on Second State, 2 new Kling Klongs and the final Album remix package by Tobi Neumann, Oliver Dollar and AFFKT already kept Martin's name going. Further releases on Bedrock and Culprit L.A. and his latest imprint he started with Ackermann named ignite. In 2018 Martin focused more on his management side at Riverside Studios Berlin. Besides its established networks of musicians and producers, he started to drive the company with a music and tech related side, which affected the way he chose further collaborations. 2020 obviously was a very special year for artists and producers under the Covid 19 pandemic. Martin – meanwhile also working as CEO for Factory Berlin – set up with his team many collaborations between artists and tech people. International artists from music but also other disciplines started to work on AR/VR and mixed reality formats. Technology and music and art together is the new thing Martin extended his horizon to. Bringing his company Riverside Studios Berlin together with the Factory Berlin ecosystem led to a very successful path for both. On the studio side Martin was active too: While working on his new studio album (expected to be finished in Jan 2021) he released a few new records on labels like bar25, Kling Klong, Ignite or still hot Berlin. His weekly podcast /Radioshow is broadcasted in more than 20 countries and has a reach of 700,000 listeners every week. http://www.martineyerer.de http://www.facebook.com/martineyerer http://www.soundcloud.com/martineyerer About The DJ Sessions - “The DJ Sessions” is a Twitch/Mixcloud "Featured Partner” live streaming/podcast series featuring electronic music DJ's/Producers via live mixes/interviews and streamed/distributed to a global audience. D-FORMATION is Dimas Carbajo, the owner and main exponent of BEATFREAK GROUP, a business alliance which is proud to include, among many others, the first Spanish record label of underground electronic music , BEATFREAK RECORDINGS, which has been conveying this national music style to the entire planet since 1997. With over 25 years in his career path, both in worldwide booths and music studios in his role as a producer, D-FORMATION is one of the most respected electronic music artists across the world. Proof of that is his album 'MADRID' for YOSHITOSHI, (Deep Dish's label), which was launched in one of the most prestigious compilation series of the industry, being the only Spanish artist featured in it so far. When he was barely 17 years old, he was awarded the first prize of the Spanish DMC DJ championship for two consecutive times (véase vídeo) and as from that time onwards his work was indefatigable not only as a megamixer for numerous Spanish multinational music companies, but also travelling around the entire country with his DMC gigs. When he was only 23 years, one of his ever greatest projects came about and that was founding his first record label, MD RECORDS, which revolutionized the then electronic music market and positioned itself as the best Spanish label with the best electronic music for many years. Shortly after another great project materialized itself, RESOLUTE DISTRIBUTION, which is one of the biggest vinyl distribution companies in Spain, with which he made the Spanish electronic music known in each and every corner of the world. And the rest, as it is often said, is history... In 2003, driven by the professional need of giving a change not only to his career, but also to his own music style, the great artistic evolution came into being and with which he continues to work these days: D-FORMATION. As from that moment onwards, his rise as a DJ and producer was and continues to be unstoppable, achieving and securing the recognition and support of the great majority of the underground industry from Tech and Progressive House to Trance itself. And all that was due to those melodic tinges, intrinsic and inherent to his tracks, which delighted and made wonders with artists such as Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo or Deep Dish, which also enabled him to work for important record labels like Sony Music, Virgin Records, EMI, Beatfreak, Suara, Parquet Recordings, Toolroom, Yoshitoshi, Movement Recordings, Nervous, Twisted, CR2, Stereo Productions and many more. His original tracks have been remixed by an artists such as D-Nox & Beckers, My Favorite Robot, Tuff City Kids, Ruede Hagelstein, Victor Calderone, Florian Kruse, Marc DePulse, Chus & Ceballos, Oscar L, Sergio Fernandez, Zombies In Miami, ATFC, Rick Pier O'Neil and many more. He has also made remixes and collaborations with for some of the most important names in the electronic music like Quivver, Victor Calderone, Chus & Ceballos, Jonas Salbaach, Sharam Deep Dish, Rafael Cerato, Oscar L, Ziger, Blancah, Stan Kolev, Danito & Athina, and many more. Olaf Hilgenfeld and Iftah Gabbai, two talented musicians with different backgrounds, are amongst the very few that actually play electronic music live on stage. Their live shows are a great display of playfulness, artistic skills and the ability to completely improvise a thrilling performance. Over the years Skinnerbox have developed a distinctively musical and groovy style, a complex, detailled, idiomatic sound and a bunch of unique technical setups and instruments for live shows as well as studio productions. They started performing in the legendary party contexts of Bachstelzen and Bar25 in Berlin back in 2005. Ever since they have been playing widely respected tours in the new and old world. Skinnerbox continuously release their studio productions on labels like BPitch Control, My Favorite Robot, Darkroom Dubs, including several musical collaborations with other artists. In 2014 was the premiere of “Time & Timbre” – a software drum-sequencer and -synthesizer for Max for Live. It is the result of an ongoing technical relationship with Ableton and the idea to make an instrument available for the public which was originally designed by Skinnerbox for their personal needs in the studio. It stands in a row with a lot of self made, adapted or modified musical gear they use. ———————————————
Tambien ha remezclado artstas top como: Victor Calderon, Chus & Ceballos, Sharam Deep Dish, Jonas Salbaach, Rafael Cerato, David Tort, Oscar L and many more. Inspired by her family's love of music, JDR took up the piano at the age of 5, and the violin at the age of 9. After a few years spent in French Conservatoire, she focused on singing and became a professional POP & RnB artist. It was only a few years later that she discovered late night House and Techno parties and the thumping rhythms of electro beats. Joséphine de Retour promptly sold her mics, purchased Traktor and began performing at local house parties, basements and abandoned warehouses. After 3 wild years spent in Beirut, hanging out with international Djs and the region’s best promoters, she landed in Dubai and decided to launch her DJ career. Joséphine de Retour has shared the stage with well-known international DJs such as Mira, Brian Cid, Nico Stojan, Niconé & Sascha Braemer, Soul Button, Mario Aureo, Animal Trainer, Dan Caster, Talul, Madmotormiquel, Benotmane, Animal Picnic, My Favorite Robot and many others. She co-Launched concept house nights introducing something that Dubai has not seen before, Deep Like ( Thursdayz! / Summer Editions) where she is one of the resident djs on rotation with her favourite international artists as long as being the music & creative director. She is definitely an artist to follow closely, starting playing international gigs : she played in Berlin (Ritter Butzke), Zurich (Hive), Istanbul (Kasette) in Bahrain (Soundscapes) and these are only the beginning of a long series. We present our Monthly podcast "Mykonian Sessions" for the month of June/July 2016. From Deep House to Techno, Every every month a new 120'min Mixtape with Vinyl Mode + special guest mix. For the 1st hour mix by (Vinyl Mode) we present tracks featuring : Trentemoller (Groovebirds Records), DAVI (Rebellion), Kay-D (PHW Elements), Brian Cid (microCastle), Jos & Eli (Parquet Recordings), Bob Moses (Domino), Christopher Schwarzwalder, Mira (Berlin), Jonas Saalbach (KATERMUKKE), Ryan Davis, Matthias Meyer (Anjunadeep), Navar, 16 Bit (microCastle), Behrouz (All Day I Dream ). For the 2nd hour mix ,It's our pleasure to present the guest of this month Kitchen Crowd all the way from Amman, Jordan. Kitchen Crowd AKA Hasan H has been one of the essential artists pushing the electronic music scene in Amman, Jordan for over a decade. Although they face many challenges in a small conservative country, along with his friends and partners, their pop up club concept [disko’tek’] has booked over 100 djs over the years including industry heavyweights such as John Danny Howells, Namito, Behrouz, Deep Dish, Wehbba, Namito, Smash TV, Tiefschwarz, Nientoes, My Favorite Robot, Claptone, Luca Bacchetti, Nic Fancuilli and many more all of whom he had shared the stage with. His groovy yet deeper sound draws from being an “adventurous” college kid living in the US where he was bitten by the what some may call the Chicago bug at a few warehouse parties in the late 90s. Let’s just say the academics part of his college experience didn’t really pan out as well. With frequent gigs around the region including Dubai and Beirut, 2016 shows no signs of Kitchen Crowd slowing down with a club night running strong with many guest artists booked as well as some of his productions set for release later this year. www.facebook.com/kitchencrowd www.soundcloud.com/kitchencrowd www.mixcloud.com/kitchencrowd
‘Rumour has it that while Clarian was institutionalized at a human testing facility in the North Coast, he began song-writing as an occupational therapy to reconstruct visions of unknown origin.’ When an artist’s bio starts like that you know you are dealing with someone who is not operating on the same frequency as the rest of the pack. And in Clarian North’s case, he is so far left from centre he is pretty much off the chart. The Canadian has been moving and shaking at his own pace over the last 3 years or so, producing the sort of music that is uniquely his own but fresh at the same time. He first came to the attention through his Footprintz moniker (alongside Addy Weitzman) which resulted in multiple singles and one full length release on Visionquest Records. Since then Clarian has gone on to carve out a career as a solo producer with releases on labels like Life and Death, My Favorite Robot, Supplement Facts, Turbo, Natura Sonoris and many more. Last year’s ‘Mission To Bars’ release on Kompakt showcased his flair for aural drama, especially the epic ‘Space Noir’, and we can only imagine what else he will bring to the table in the future. His Balance Selections podcast is a suitably smooth leftfield/chill out/whatever mix which should soundtrack many an after party.... This one is pretty special. He also provided this exclusive live mix (only available here) for Deep House Proposal fans! Enjoy! sasse http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/sasse/biography https://www.facebook.com/moodmusicrecords Klas Sasse Lindblad have been living, breathing and creating house music for the past 20 years. Coming from Northern Europe, born and raised in Finland, later relocated to Berlin he´s seen, heard and created many styles of electronic music in clubs and on live stages. A dj from day one, Sasse has as well always been writing and producing music under various pseudonyms and with different artist as collaborator. Be it then the fresh collab as Hot Lunch with studio partner Ewan Pearson, the electro-tinged Mr Negative project with Holmar Filipsson from Thugfucker fame, him collaborating with Henrik Schwarz on Sunday Music or Moodmusic - or any of the numerous productions and remixes as either Sasse or his alter ego Freestyle Man for labels such as Pokerflat, Bedrock, Dirt Crew or Dieb Audio - the success has brought him all over the world to represent his driving, yet deep dj-style and the sounds of his Moodmusic label. And rightly so, the label going from strength to strength, riding high in the dj-charts as well as being supported by the majority of the a-class disc jockeys around, Moodmusic is pushing new talent as well as keeping floors bysy with well known names like Martin Dawson, Dave DK and Penner+Muder. The label turned 15 years in 2011 and there´s no signs of stopping now. Upcoming singles on My Favorite Robot, The Exquisite Pain and Moodmusic in the first half of the new year, Sasse is sure to keep himself busy in the clubs as well as in the studio for 2012. booking Sasse - alex@backroom-entertainment.de / matteo@cliquebooking.com booking Freestyle Man - elie@sweatlodgeagency.com booking Moodmusic labelnights - feedback@moodmusicrecords.com
