If you would like to give us feedback on how were doing follow us at: https://discord.gg/cd6sNqvnav https://beacons.ai/senornerdpodcast The Batman is a 2022 American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Batman. Directed by Matt Reeves from a screenplay he wrote with Peter Craig, it is a reboot of the Batman film franchise produced by DC Films. Robert Pattinson stars as Bruce Wayne / Batman alongside Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell. The film sees Batman, in his second year fighting crime in Gotham City, uncover corruption with ties to his own family while pursuing the Riddler (Dano), a mysterious serial killer targeting the city's elite. Development began after Ben Affleck was cast as Batman in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) in 2013. Affleck signed on to direct, produce, co-write, and star in The Batman, but had reservations about the project and dropped out. Reeves took over in February 2017 and reworked the story, removing the DCEU connections to focus on a younger version of the character earlier in his vigilante career compared to Affleck's. He sought to explore Batman's detective side more than previous films, drawing inspiration from the films of Alfred Hitchcock and the New Hollywood era, and comics such as Year One (1987), The Long Halloween (1996–97), and Ego (2000). Pattinson was cast in May 2019, with further casting later that year. Filming began in the United Kingdom in January 2020, but was halted in March by the COVID-19 pandemic. Production resumed later in the year and concluded in Chicago in March 2021. The Batman was theatrically released by Warner Bros. Pictures on March 4, 2022, three days after premiering at the Lincoln Center in Manhattan, and was delayed twice from its original June 2021 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was a commercial success, grossing $771 million against a $185–200 million budget, making it the seventh-highest-grossing film of 2022. It received positive reviews from critics, was nominated for three awards at the 95th Academy Awards, and received numerous other accolades. The film is intended to launch a Batman shared universe and is set to be followed by two sequels, with The Batman – Part II set to be released on October 2, 2026. Born and raised in South Louisiana, Chef Craig was inspired by his family meals and his grandmother's cooking. His heart and soul are Southern, which transcends into his cooking. After working in some of the world's most renowned restaurants, opening two of his own restaurants in Louisiana, and honing recipes as a private chef, Chef Craig and his wife Kristen moved to Southern California. They began feeding their friends and neighbors from their home kitchen when the pandemic hit. By the end of COVID, they were turning out more than 80 meals per day. The most popular meal was his fried chicken, inspired by his Southern roots and first made famous by Chef Craig in Aspen at the 7908 Supper Club. The idea to open a fast-casual restaurant devoted to his popular fried chicken took on a life of its own, and Le Coupé was born. The name for Le Coupé in French translates to "The Cut." The cut of Chef Craig's fried chicken thigh makes his chicken unique. He uses a technique that frenches the bone of the thigh while keeping the meat intact, allowing for a unique flavor profile and presentation. The name is also a nod to being all cooped up during the quarantine. Le Coupé has become a local sensation in the burgeoning Melrose Hill area of Los Angeles. This husband-and-wife operation was named the best fried chicken sandwich in California by Yelp -- and everyone who tries it! For Chef Craig, Le Coupé represents an opportunity to showcase his take on Southern cuisine inspired by a Cajun-French saying – lagniappe. Which means "a little extra." Chef Craig and Kristen, a former event planner, ensure everyone visiting Le Coupé feels like the experience was a little extra. Today we chat with Chef Craig and Kristen, the founders of Le Coupe about:

The American Association of Retired Persons is the largest nonprofit group in the world with 38 million members. And it all began right here in Ojai in 1957 over dinner for six people at the Ojai Valley Inn. One of the persons was Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, a formidably tall redhead who changed the way the nation thought about aging. Craig Walker joins the podcast to talk about his recently published book, "The Dignity They Deserve" which he co-authored with Mark Lewis. As the title explains, Dr. Andrus, perhaps the first female high school principal in California, grew up in Chicago during the height of the Progressive Era, where she volunteered at Jane Addams' Hull House, before embarking on a career in education. She retired to Ojai and bought the Grey Gables and converted it into a residential facility for retired teachers. Her mission was to show that retired people had much to contribute to their world and communities. The lore is that she found a retired teacher living in abject poverty in a chicken coop. In her anger, she got organized. The AARP was founded to provide health insurance to retired teachers through the American Retired Teachers Association, which Dr. Andrus also established. It proved so wildly successful that the insurance broker, Leonard Davis, who helped set up the underwriting, soon became one of the 400 richest men in America. Dr. Andrus never personally profited off her organization. We talked about the Dr. Andrus' background, and her illustrious career at Lincoln High School, where she revolutionized the way high school was taught. Walker, a retired teacher himself, also talked about his father, the famous architect Rodney Walker, builder of several of the Case Study homes that helped house millions of people. We did not talk about Sumerian cuneiform, great Moghul empire warriors or the sketch comedy of Tim Robinson.

This is especially true for their business communication product, which depends on engagement from their pro services team. Martin Eyerer on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 6/14/22 About Martin Eyerer - For more than 30 years Martin Eyerer has traveled heavily around the globe as a DJ and producer. His more than 150 releases on the hottest labels like Renaissance, My Favorite Robot, Get Physical, Rejected order on his own imprint Kling Klong are bought and played on continents from Australia, Asia to North and South America and of course Europe. Countless sales and other chart positionings as well as media feedback prove that impressively. As a producer Martin has something to show as well: Gold Albums in UK and Australia and a top 3 US Billboard chart ranking have a great effect here. As a mixing and mastering engineer Martin has run a respectable analog studio for 15 years, which has an established standing especially in the electronic music scene. After moving from Stuttgart to Berlin in August 2012 Martin and his partners Jade Souaid and Tassilo Ippenberger opened together the Riverside Studios – a 2000 m2 complex in the heart of Berlin. With direct river views and the neighborhood to clubs like Berghain, Watergate, Kater Blau, Tresor or Weekend it became one of the hotspots of Berlin's music scene. Of course Martin has his space there, too. On 100 m2 he brought his studio to the next level. The restoration of his legendary Amek M 3000 Console that was formerly owned by Pink Floyd in the seventies completed it surely. By the end of 2013 Martin Eyerer startet to work on his 3rd longplayer including interesting and already confirmed corporations withPrincess Superstar, Abby, Knixx and Ruede Hagelstein. End of 2014 the album – Struktur – was released on Martin‘s very own label Kling Klong and received huge feedback from the music scene. A few more releases on labels like Get Physical, Saved and Rejected followed the 4 singles of the album in 2015 and a global tour that lead Martin once more around the world. In 2016 releases on my favorite robot, Bedrock, Danse UK, Suara and Kling Klong were released and played all over the globe. The most successful one was Martin Eyerer & Ackermann feat Craig Walker – former singer from the band Archive. Originals and the kaiserdisco remix hit the Beatport Top 20. 2017 was full of successful releases: An EP on Second State, 2 new Kling Klongs and the final Album remix package by Tobi Neumann, Oliver Dollar and AFFKT already kept Martin's name going. Further releases on Bedrock and Culprit L.A. and his latest imprint he started with Ackermann named ignite. In 2018 Martin focused more on his management side at Riverside Studios Berlin. Besides its established networks of musicians and producers, he started to drive the company with a music and tech related side, which affected the way he chose further collaborations. 2020 obviously was a very special year for artists and producers under the Covid 19 pandemic. Martin – meanwhile also working as CEO for Factory Berlin – set up with his team many collaborations between artists and tech people. International artists from music but also other disciplines started to work on AR/VR and mixed reality formats. Technology and music and art together is the new thing Martin extended his horizon to. Bringing his company Riverside Studios Berlin together with the Factory Berlin ecosystem led to a very successful path for both. On the studio side Martin was active too: While working on his new studio album (expected to be finished in Jan 2021) he released a few new records on labels like bar25, Kling Klong, Ignite or still hot Berlin. His weekly podcast /Radioshow is broadcasted in more than 20 countries and has a reach of 700,000 listeners every week. http://www.martineyerer.de http://www.facebook.com/martineyerer http://www.soundcloud.com/martineyerer About The DJ Sessions - “The DJ Sessions” is a Twitch/Mixcloud "Featured Partner” live streaming/podcast series featuring electronic music DJ's/Producers via live mixes/interviews and streamed/distributed to a global audience. Well, listen in as we have an engaging conversation with a church leader on that very topic. The character and integrity of leaders are essential for a healthy, thriving church or ministry. John Erickson is a radio news legend in Portland. He and his radio cohort were the voice of adult contemporary radio for a couple decades. He carried some guy named Craig Walker. Seriously, that duo made it sound easy on the airwaves of KGW-AM and K-103 FM. Learn how John started in radio. It involved cleaning the studio for a small station in Colorado, and making believe he was on the air. He came to Portland he says, because someone told him not to. Then the news and broadcast pro traveled so Seattle, San Francisco, and Houston, before a leap of faith brought him back to the Rose City, the “One More Time Around Marching Band,” and the Daily Drip. Oh, and while I was once accused of kidnapping Kenny Loggins, John was threatened by Kenny's manager. He was almost on the Highway to the Danger Zone.
