Hailing from Albania, Da Luka emerged from his country's electronic music landscape just over a decade ago. Whether operating in solo capacity or alongside occasional production partner Jorgio Kioris, Da Luka's creative vision would summon the praise of progressive music tastemakers Cid Inc, Guy J, Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and more, in turn leading to releases via Droid9, Juicebox Music, Movement Recordings and WARPP. Choosing his projects wisely across 2023, the year would prove to be impactful for the Berat resident, with the formation and subsequent success of roku, along with key releases via Electronic Groove and Mango Alley. Meanwhile, made up of German artists Jan de Vice and JP Silence, the Electric Dada alias was revealed to the world in 2020. The duo's progressive style was immediately recognised for its emotive qualities and strong dancefloor sensibility. A transcendent sound which would see them go on to release key projects via Clubsonica, Dopamine White, Massive Harmony and Univack, while also earning praise from the underground's premiere tastemakers. Having been paired together once previously for a release via Electronic Groove, Da Luka and Electric Dada combine their extensive forces once again, getting 2024 off to a strong start with ‘Rubicon', alongside remixes from Subandrio and Forty Cats.

Famed for releases via EIN2, Harabe, Kindisch and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Israeli artist Amir Telem has continued to delight fans with his unique take on organic house and melodic house & techno. His spiritual creations have also found a place on Movement Recordings, with two appearances on the label's popular 'Technical Progress' series. Now returning to Movement for his first and much anticipated EP, Amir unveils 'Goloka', alongside remixes from Ruben Karapetyan and Da Luka & Jorgio Kioris. Providing the lone interpretation of 'Goloka' is Ruben Karapetyan who returns to the label for his sixth appearance. Having reinvigorated his career following a ten-year hiatus, Armenian born, USA based artist Ruben Karapetyan has found favour amongst progressive music tastemakers and fans alike. His ethno-inspried take on the genre has flourished on Movement Recordings, with six originals and one remix released across the last eighteen months. Now, following standout offerings via Balkan Connection and Mango Alley, Ruben returns to Movement with a groovy take on 'Goloka'. Taking inspiration from the original, Ruben flexes his free-thinking muscles and crafts a version that lands comfortably between the surreal and exotic. Neatly manicured percussion and a smooth, hip-swinging groove set the course for layers of harmonic colour, which ultimately provides a bridge into the main break. Coming to full fruition across the centrepiece, tension rises through dancing arps, grandiose chord changes and drum driven drama, while never letting go of its tranquil vibration and smoothly pushing onwards to a glowing, vocal infused finale. The 55th edition of Juicebox Radio welcomes - Anastasios Papagiannoulis aka Tash (Thessaloniki, Greece). The boss of "Movement Recordings", Tash has been around electronic music since the early '00s and has quickly established his name as one of the most promising artists to watch out for, performing at major venues in Greece & Balkans. The Greek talent's style varies from Deep, Melodic to Progressive House and can also be found on our label's Discography - back in March, 2018 with an EP entitled "Theros / Truce." D-FORMATION is Dimas Carbajo, the owner and main exponent of BEATFREAK GROUP, a business alliance which is proud to include, among many others, the first Spanish record label of underground electronic music , BEATFREAK RECORDINGS, which has been conveying this national music style to the entire planet since 1997. With over 25 years in his career path, both in worldwide booths and music studios in his role as a producer, D-FORMATION is one of the most respected electronic music artists across the world. Proof of that is his album 'MADRID' for YOSHITOSHI, (Deep Dish's label), which was launched in one of the most prestigious compilation series of the industry, being the only Spanish artist featured in it so far. When he was barely 17 years old, he was awarded the first prize of the Spanish DMC DJ championship for two consecutive times (véase vídeo) and as from that time onwards his work was indefatigable not only as a megamixer for numerous Spanish multinational music companies, but also travelling around the entire country with his DMC gigs. In 2003, driven by the professional need of giving a change not only to his career, but also to his own music style, the great artistic evolution came into being and with which he continues to work these days: D-FORMATION. As from that moment onwards, his rise as a DJ and producer was and continues to be unstoppable, achieving and securing the recognition and support of the great majority of the underground industry from Tech and Progressive House to Trance itself. BRP 260 - ANDRES MORIS Andrés Moris is a DJ / Producer from the province of Córdoba. He started his career at the age of 16 as a DJ, setting up his base and identity in electronic music. After several years of playing music, he shared the booth with greats from the local scene, such as Matthias Popoff, Ariel Zurita, Nicolas Gonzalez, Belu Amarfil, Cami Lipski, Sol Vietto, Berni Turletti, Matias Chilano, Jime Ferreyra, Sebastian Sellares, among others. Having the majority of Main dates, he wanted to delve further into the world of electronics and take his first steps as a self-taught producer. Today he has releases on labels such as, Balkan Connection, Or Two Strangers, Movement Recordings, 3rd Avenue and still there's more to come. Inspired since he was little by music in general, his sound goes from a progressive with vibes of joy to a range of genres on the mixes, going through all of them and appreciating the music of each one. At 22 years old, he is already on the way to continue doing it all his life inspired by his national and international references. BLOOM RECORDS PODCAST 216 - ALEX O'RION https://soundcloud.com/alexorion Hailing from a long line of talented Dutch producers, Alex O’Rion is one of the brightest stars to recently emerge on Hernan Cattaneo’s SUDBEAT label. He started to experiment with music at 14 year old and was inspired by the likes of Sasha, Nick Warren and John Digweed. Although his first appearance was in the trance scene, Alex soon found out that deep progressive music was his passion. The switch to progressive house was a massive decision and a very successful one. Alex has released over 150 tracks on beatport and has the ongoing support of many big names like Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy Mantzur, Quivver amongst others. After his debut EP on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat in 2018 things started looking really bright for the Dutchman. Later that year he delivered two more EP's for Sudbeat. Every track of those releases made it into the beatport top 100 best selling tracks with no less than 3 tracks in the top 10. In 2019 he signed his first EP on Nick Warren's beloved HOPE recordings. 'Timeless' instantly landed in beatport's top 10 and got supported by the biggest names out there. Alex had no intentions of slowing down and released his music on the highly respected REPLUG label hosted by Dan Orsen and Cid Inc. At the end of 2019 he will make his debut on Movement Recordings and will be represented worldwide by Movement Bookings as well. This year saw Alex also notching up live appearances as a dj. Being captivated by the unique variations, styles and emotions that lived at the heart of every genre, many days in his teens, he would find himself listening to movie scores, lost in their stories, yearning to tell his own. Here’s that story so far: Fuelled by his life-long passion for the art of music, fresh out of high school, Dimuth was on a musical quest. Dimuth was completely enthralled with the newly discovered electronic music universe, and found himself using every sparse moment exploring the ins and outs of different electronic music genres to find the sound that characterized himself, which ultimately paved the way for his career as an electronic music DJ. Very soon he soon found himself transfixing crowds with his Groovy, Progressive House sets and was quick to gain popularity on the decks with his energetic and versatile performances across the island at many clubs, festivals and parties, setting the stage for the likes of Roger Martinez, Khen, UNER, and playing alongside heavyweights such as Nick Warren, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Sahar Z, Jeremey Olander, Cid Inc., Fehrplay, Third Son and Alex Kenji among many others. In the meantime, behind the scenes Dimuth was setting the foundation for what would be the game changer of his career. Carefully crafting his own unique blend of emotionally uplifting Trance, Progressive House, and Tech grooves, it was only a matter of time before he started getting noticed by colossal record labels such as Hope Recordings, Balkan Connection, Movement Recordings, Particles and more. Was also featured on Max Graham’s ‘Cycles 8’, released on Black Hole Recordings and recognized as Sri Lanka’s Best DJ/Producer at the Yes Home-Grown Awards 2017. With massive support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Cid Inc, Markus Schulz, Gai Barone, John 00 Fleming, Marcelo Vasami to name a few, Dimuth’s music has been captivating listeners all around the world at the biggest festivals from Woodstock Bloemendaal (Netherlands), Warung (Brazil), CODA (Canada), Loveland (Amsterdam), Sziget (Hungary), to numerous other international clubs and has reached Beatport’s Top 100 Progressive House Charts many a time. Joan Retamero es productor musical de Rosario, Argentina. Con 24 años y una carrera joven, logro hasta el dia de la fecha grandes objetivos en su vida musical. En 2015 fue parte de Sudbeats 3, el compilado del sello de Hernan Cattaneo con su track Her Imagination and His Planet. En 2016 se mudó a Londres, donde tuvo la oportunidad de pinchar en EGG London junto a Nic Fanciulli, Mathias Kaden, David Squillace, Pig & Dan y Duubspeka entre otros; y en Ministry Of Sound donde conoció y compartió line-up con Paul Oakenfold. Его музыку выпускают такие лейблы как Movement Recordings, Juicebox Music, Beat Boutique, Balkan Connection и многие другие. Matter же придал треку особого шарма, в своем фирменном стиле сделав очень эмоциональный ремикс, который надолго задержится в ваших акустических системах. Слушать Timelapse лучше всего на хорошем звуке, ведь именно для этого он и создавался. Довести танцпол до состояния эйфории в самый peak-time - это нетривиальная задача на сегодня, а ремикс Matterа сделает это безотлагательно. Импринт Diynamic, который принадлежит всем известному Соломуну издал потрясный виниловый релиз итальянца Musumeci под названием Mood Organs. На пластинке три трека и сегодня я хочу представить полюбившуюся мне Hey Mama. Очень атмосферный и качественный трек, который к тому же отлично спродюсирован и занял достойное место в моей музыкальной коллекции. Еще одно виниловое приобретение для меня - это уважаемый импринт Ли Бэрриджа All Day I Dream, пластинки которого я активно покупаю. На этот раз Lee Burridge совместно с Lost Desert и полюбившимся фанатам лейбла вокалистом Junior сотворили очередной шлягер 2018 года под названием Elongi. Все хорошо помнят успех пластинки Lingala, которую ребята записали таким же составом в 2016 году. Пластинку Lingala размели с прилавков магазинов слушатели и диск-жокеи за считанные недели и на сегодня пластинку уже не купить и я уверен, сегодняшнюю Elongi EP ждет такая же участь. Поэтому, советую запастить своей копией, пока есть такая возможность. Британский певец L.Doblado с очень эмоциальным вокальным треком Lie Alone, который в фирменном стиле ремикшировал всеми любимый проект 16 Bit Lolitas. Рекомендую обратить внимание на великолепные ямы, а также эффектные выходы из них. У этой работы есть все шансы, чтобы покорить сердце каждой девушки на танцполе. В завершении программы нашумевший в последнем Фабрике от Саши ремикс самого маэстро на трек Amae от BAILE и вокалистки Felicia Douglass. Мастерский во всех смыслах ремикс абсолютно точно будет звучать в качестве Outro в сетах многих артистов по всему миру. В хронике винила у меня сегодня еще одна 12ти дюймовка от легендарного лейбла Global Underground. Это проект Trafik с треком Your Light, который наделал много шума в середине нулевых, благодаря потрясающему брейксовому ремиксу еще одного моего любимчика - австралийца Luke Chable. Luke Chable - автор целой серии хитов танцполов 2005 года. Сегодня Luke Chable уже далеко не тот талантливый тинейджер, которым был с десяток лет назад, а состоявшийся и один из самых выдающихся музыкальных продюсеров мировой танцевальной сцены, имеющий в запасе более 70 собственных треков и бесчисленное количество ремиксов. Свою профессиональную диджейскую карьеру Luke Chable начал в 18 лет, но первые метаморфозы произошли еще в 10-летнем возрасте. «Тогда я не знал, что это было именно то, чем я хотел бы заниматься дальше. Я просто всегда делал это». Accelerator - первый из многих совместных проектов Люка, в которых он оттачивал свое мастерство вместе с такими именами, как James Holden, PQM, Austin Leeds и Cass. Тем не менее, многие считают его лучшими проектами, проекты Люка с его земляками из Мельбурна – такими, как Phil K, Ivan Gough, Nubreed и Jono Fernandez. В хронике винила у меня сегодня еще одна 12ти дюймовка от легендарного лейбла Global Underground. Это проект Trafik с треком Your Light, который наделал много шума в середине нулевых, благодаря потрясающему брейксовому ремиксу еще одного моего любимчика - австралийца Luke Chable. Luke Chable - автор целой серии хитов танцполов 2005 года. Сегодня Luke Chable уже далеко не тот талантливый тинейджер, которым был с десяток лет назад, а состоявшийся и один из самых выдающихся музыкальных продюсеров мировой танцевальной сцены, имеющий в запасе более 70 собственных треков и бесчисленное количество ремиксов. Свою профессиональную диджейскую карьеру Luke Chable начал в 18 лет, но первые метаморфозы произошли еще в 10-летнем возрасте. «Тогда я не знал, что это было именно то, чем я хотел бы заниматься дальше. Я просто всегда делал это». Accelerator - первый из многих совместных проектов Люка, в которых он оттачивал свое мастерство вместе с такими именами, как James Holden, PQM, Austin Leeds и Cass. Тем не менее, многие считают его лучшими проектами, проекты Люка с его земляками из Мельбурна – такими, как Phil K, Ivan Gough, Nubreed и Jono Fernandez. Такая музыка мне очень по душе, за что огромная благодарность австралийскому лейблу Indigo Records.Любимый мною лейбл Just Movement у меня сегодня представлен сразу двумя релизами от российского артиста Ивана Шпаковского, который пишет музыку под псевдонимом Ivanshee. Атмосферный Misty Patrol и ближе к финишу глубокий и проникновенный Horizon. Обе версии треков я выбрал в оригинале, дабы вы прочувствовали всю красоту звучания, которое на данный момент пропагандирует Иван.Греческий импринт Movement Recordings (саблейблом которого является упомянутый выше Just Movement) выпустил интереснейшую пластинку с одноименным названием лейбла Movement от канадского продюсера Tone Depth и египтянина Ampish. Для своей программы я выбрал потрясающий по настроению, очень эмоциональный ремикс от музыканта из Берлина Jonas Saalbach.Аргентинский лейбл Massive Harmony Records в своем привычном стиле выпускает очень атмосферную пластинку The Director of My Life от своего соотечественника Masedonico. Мне приглянулся вдумчивый и мелодичный ремикс от аргентинца Franco Musachi. Как же хорошо в этом звучании прослушивается латиноамериканский музыкальный дух.После еще одного релиза Ivanshee встречаем сладкую парочку аргентинцев в лице Alberto Blanco и Nahuel Lucena. Их напористый трек Elantris уже давно лежит в моей сумке и вот наконец он получил свою путевку в декабрьский эпизод MAXIMUM.В завершении программы я поставил пластинку Nerium от канадского музыканта Travis MacDonald, релиз которой состоялся на польском импринте Soundteller Records. Для финишной прямой более подходящим оказался великолепный ремикс итальянца Danny Lloyd, который, я уверен, вы оцените по достоинству.В регулярной рубрике Bonus Track у меня сегодня великолепная кавер-версия старого хита You Don't Have To Cry, которая получила потрясающий ремикс от британского мастера John Graham, известного нам не только как ремиксера или диджея, но и как вокалиста. Отличный клубный трек, богатый элементами перкуссии и великолепным грувом имеет довольно нестандартное построение, очень красивый брейк-даун и конечно же оригинальные вокальные семплы. Очень рекомендую данный ремикс не только к клубному, но и индивидуальному прослушиванию.Желаю всем приятного прослушивания и до новой порции МАКСИМУМА! Такая музыка мне очень по душе, за что огромная благодарность австралийскому лейблу Indigo Records.Любимый мною лейбл Just Movement у меня сегодня представлен сразу двумя релизами от российского артиста Ивана Шпаковского, который пишет музыку под псевдонимом Ivanshee. Атмосферный Misty Patrol и ближе к финишу глубокий и проникновенный Horizon. Обе версии треков я выбрал в оригинале, дабы вы прочувствовали всю красоту звучания, которое на данный момент пропагандирует Иван.Греческий импринт Movement Recordings (саблейблом которого является упомянутый выше Just Movement) выпустил интереснейшую пластинку с одноименным названием лейбла Movement от канадского продюсера Tone Depth и египтянина Ampish. Для своей программы я выбрал потрясающий по настроению, очень эмоциональный ремикс от музыканта из Берлина Jonas Saalbach.Аргентинский лейбл Massive Harmony Records в своем привычном стиле выпускает очень атмосферную пластинку The Director of My Life от своего соотечественника Masedonico. Мне приглянулся вдумчивый и мелодичный ремикс от аргентинца Franco Musachi. Как же хорошо в этом звучании прослушивается латиноамериканский музыкальный дух.После еще одного релиза Ivanshee встречаем сладкую парочку аргентинцев в лице Alberto Blanco и Nahuel Lucena. Их напористый трек Elantris уже давно лежит в моей сумке и вот наконец он получил свою путевку в декабрьский эпизод MAXIMUM.В завершении программы я поставил пластинку Nerium от канадского музыканта Travis MacDonald, релиз которой состоялся на польском импринте Soundteller Records. Для финишной прямой более подходящим оказался великолепный ремикс итальянца Danny Lloyd, который, я уверен, вы оцените по достоинству.В регулярной рубрике Bonus Track у меня сегодня великолепная кавер-версия старого хита You Don't Have To Cry, которая получила потрясающий ремикс от британского мастера John Graham, известного нам не только как ремиксера или диджея, но и как вокалиста. Отличный клубный трек, богатый элементами перкуссии и великолепным грувом имеет довольно нестандартное построение, очень красивый брейк-даун и конечно же оригинальные вокальные семплы. The latest release on Tash's Movement Recordings finds the label revisiting Fernando Olaya's 'The Cube' EP for a brand new set of remixes. Originally released in July of this year the three track offering proved to be some of the Colombian artists finest work to date. Now four months later we see the Greek imprint calling upon Maydan, John Cosani, Just 9eorge and Stage Van H & W&DY to re-interpret the tracks for the fall season. Leading the release off is Maydan who is making his first appearance on Movement Recordings. The Israeli artist is part of Lonya's Asymmetric Recordings where he acts as one of the label A&Rs and has also appeared on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Here he puts his own unique spin on 'Ahlam' taking it into deep techno territory. Backed by a mountainous groove and smooth hypnotic lines the piece builds a mesmerising cadence early. The cross cultural motifs translate wonderfully over the beefy foundation eventually leading to a spiritual break. Following a charming moment the meditative pulse quickly returns as the vocal storyboard continues to evolve through an exhilarating conclusion. The EPs second selection finds Just 9eorge returning for his seventh appearance following a contribution to the label's Technical Progress Vol. 6 collection from June of this year. The Greek artist has become loved for his soulful productions and he's worked more of his magic on 'Sagitarius'. Taking a rugged approach Just 9eorge lays down an acidic groove which proves to be the perfect foundation for the original's enlightening themes. Solemn and reflective, the piece flows through a storyboard of emotions before the main break seals it's emotive core with melancholic tones and blissful pads. Gorgeous interpretation from Just 9eorge. John Cosani is up next and makes his second appearance on Movement Recordings following a contribution to the labels 'Re:Born' collection from June of 2015. The Argentinean artist has also found a home on Lonya's Asymmetric Recordings where his modern take on progressive music has flourished. Here he takes the EP's title track 'The Cube' into deeper hypnotic territory which complements the original wonderfully. John's chunky foundation emanates a strong dance floor sensibility before rough stabs and twisted effects further tantalise the senses. Following a dramatic break fuelled with sweeping noise and sizzling builds, the vocal-like refrains and hazy melodies find a place in harmonic heaven, carrying the piece to an emotive conclusion. The release concludes with two of the labels core artists Stage Van H & W&DY collaborating once again. The Dutch duo have worked together several times in the past with magical results and their interpretation of 'The Cube' is no different. With a more techno inspired take than John, Stage and W&DY deliver a great complement with tough kicks and a chugging groove sitting at the foundation. As waves of percussion get worked in the rhythms roll before a big melodic theme initiates the main break.
