Tara's Top 10, Constitutionality of pre-emptive pardons and DOGE and the fearporn from the Left

Today's show opens with a return to a Friday favorite, Tara Bull's Top 10 News Items the Legacy/mainstream media didn't cover. I really enjoy being able to quickly run through several news stories before hitting my stack of stuff. The first item I dive into after the Top 10 is word that the Biden White House is busy on more pre-emptive pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci, Sen.-elect Adam “Lying Piece of” Schiff and Liz “Love going to war” Cheney. This led me to pull up Article II, Section 2, Clause 1 of the Constitution. Within that clause is power for reducing sentences and pardoning crimes committed against the United States. In fact, the exact line reads, “[The President]...he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.” This leads me to ask, how can the President provide blanket immunity for unknown or unnamed offenses against the United States? Don't they have to be named? The first DOGE meeting took place and already the unhinged and angry lunatics on the Left are doing all they can to spin it into the worst fearporn they can envision. But, once you understand what is being suggested, all the fear subsides. Even Scott Jennings, CNN, says that's the feedback he is hearing. However, as Rep Tim Burchett (R-TN) notes, it's not a problem finding the fraud, waste and abuse. It's whether or not the Congress will do anything about it? Isn't that always the real question? Today's show opens with our nod to the week in news thanks to Tara Bull's Top 10 News Items the Legacy/mainstream didn't cover or didn't cover properly. It's a perfect way to end the week, jumping through several news stories in rapid-fire succession. Next we move to Hakeem Jeffries to help illustrate how the Legacy/mainstream media is part of the Democrat party. But, even with a friendly press, he manages to serve up his own version of Kamala Harris style word-salad. Yesterday I said that with Matt Gaetz withdrawing, there would be a push to go after Pete Hegseth. A professor and author on MSNBC said he was a danger to the military because of his extreme views and for selling grenades. Well, not actual grenades, but soap in the shape of a grenade. For a Leftist, it's basically the same thing. Former Congressman Joe Walsh is bordering on treason after saying NATO and our allies should not share classified information with Tulsi Gabbard if she is confirmed to be the Director of National Intelligence. It feels like today's politicians don't know what an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution really means. Without skipping a beat, Donald Trump has nominated Pam Bondi, the former state AG of Florida, to become the new US AG. And, right on queue, the press begins their new fear mongering smear campaign. They even bring out the Designated Liar, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) to show us their own deep-seated projection over how they current regime weaponized the DOJ. Insiders are saying DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is negotiating an early exit, wanting a full-immunity clause to project him from any forthcoming investigations. The panic is palpable. Liberal lunatics are saying Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) is “weaponizing” her rape trauma to spread bigotry. I'm not making that up. The “Turtle” is sticking around, being name Chair of the Senate Rule Committee. On a brighter note, Cenk Uygur seems to be discovering a more moderate disposition and is actually siding with the Department of Government Efficiency. It's amazing to watch the coalition Trump continues to foster while the Left continues to implode. Please take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. As has been our tradition for several months now, today's show opens with Tara Bull's Top 10 News Items the Legacy/mainstream media either didn't cover or didn't cover properly over the past work week. It's a great way to run through several news stories before diving into the rest of my stack of stuff! Needless to say, with the Harris-Walz campaign finally agreeing to a sit-down interview after more than 40 days, that was going to be our main topic to discuss. I believe it was a huge tactical mistake, because there was so much attention and pressure on this one interview. And, she did not do all that well. We discuss CNN's Dana Bash doing her best to feed answers to Kamala to hearing Tim Walz say he has bad grammar and that's why it sounded like he said he used weapons of war in combat situations. They are both performers, playing their professional wrestling roles per the scripts they received from their handlers. Next, CNN's Scott Jennings continues to impress me with his sound analysis related to the 18 minute taped interview of Harris and Walz. He seems to be one of the few people in their panel discussions who is connected with reality. Similar to his own take that the interview did not go well, Brietbart news is reporting that the better market is now dumping their odds for a Kamala Harris win. With only 18 minutes, it's obvious there was no way to really dive into several different topics. Had I been able to have a full hour with her, I go through a list of questions I would have liked to have seen her answer, especially with so many other stances she is trying to sell us as opposed to the direction she's been taking us already. As we start to wind down, heading into the long, Labor Day weekend, we need to lighten things up a bit. So, we first turn to comedian Jim Gossett with his newest release, a parody song of how we are wasting away in Kamalaville. Then, Nicole Shanahan, RFK's pick for VP, releases a great new ad about a production called, “Independence.” Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. Harris picked the only running mate she could find more insane than she is. I guess she's more interested in getting the illegal alien Somali vote than the votes of the people who depend on fracking in Pennsylvania. It appears that new evidence suggests that there was only one shooter in Butler, PA, but we can't be sure if the crime was LIHOP (let it happen on purpose) or MIHOP (Make it happen on purpose).Biden loses in court again ... twice. He MUST spend that $1.4B on border wall construction rather than diverting it to some pet project. But count on him dragging his feet. AND... Texas can put those buoys in the Rio Grande to block illegal alien wetbacks. The market drop is a strong predictor that Harris will lose.We need to paint in bright colors in campaign ads.https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2024/08/to_reach_non_traditional_republican_voters_we_must_speak_in_non_traditional_ways.html

Today's Friday episode opens with our weekly segment, Tara's Top 10 News Items the Legacy/mainstream media likely didn't tell you about this week. It's a great way to play catch-up through the news items we may have not covered this week, or covered in a way the Legacy/mainstream media refused. We then take a moment to talk about a new whistleblower to approach Senator Josh Hawley's office. Apparently, local law enforcement offered the USSS access to drones for the Trump rally in Butler and they said they were not needed. Moving to the gaslighting by the Legacy/mainstream media of Kamala Harris's failures, we have Democrat operative Chris Cilizza angry over the media trying to sell the idea that Biden chose to leave the race. He didn't choose. It was a coup and he was forced to quit. It's important to see the number of hoaxes or lies already being woven to insulate and protect VP Kamala Harris from her own ineptitude and stupidity. Even Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) says she is a co-owner of every disastrous policy of the Biden Administration. One of the big ones, yet to be memory-holed, is her involvement in the Afghanistan retreat. I keep waiting for the whitewashing and historical re-write to hit that topic. Isn't it fun to see how many anti-American, pro-Hamas/pro-terrorists we have in this country? Even Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) had to reverse himself on X within the space of less than six hours. But, though several were arrested for a host of crimes, the DOJ has decided to drop them all. No, there isn't a two-tiered justice system here in the United States. White House Co-Press Secretary John Kirby acknowledged that Iran was funding some of the pro-Hamas rallies. No kidding! And where do you think they got all this money, John? Can't it be said that the U.S. is actually funding these anti-America rallies?? Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) did another wonderful job of getting FBI Director Chris Wray to back himself into a corner. It seems, based on Wray's own testimony, Biden and his close circle were able to pull the wool over his eyes regarding Biden's massive cognitive decline. With VP Harris so close to Joe on a daily basis, Trump reminds us that, “If Kamala will lie to you so brazenly about Joe Biden's mental incapacity, then she will lie to you about anything. She can never, ever be trusted." Vivek Ramaswamy has some good advice on how to not attack Kamala Harris. I happen to agree with him on all three of his points. Let us also remember what Harris thinks of 18-24 year old's. She said, “They are stupid!” I find myself having to agree with another BLM post. In it, they tell their followers that the Democrats don't care about black people or democracy. They are the ones suppressing votes and disenfranchising voters. They never cared about you. We also want to remind you of the :40 second sound bite given by Tulsi Gabbard in the 2019 Democrat primary debates regarding then Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA). That one statement made Kamala drop out of the race without a single earned delegate vote. Finally, Kamala impressionist Estee Palti produced a bit where we see the VP trying take after take to get her phone call with the Obama's shot on video. You should follow her @mommyrn88. Today's Friday episode opens, as is customary, with Tara Bull's Top 10 News Items the Legacy/mainstream media likely didn't tell you about this week. It's always great to go through those in rapid-fire style before diving into the news stack. Nothing says celebrating Independence Day like illegal migrants on the streets of Philadelphia lighting American flags on fire, while waving those of Palestine and Hamas. And, since I'm discussing pro-Hamas, pro-terrorist, anti-Semite, anti-Constitutional, anti-America people, let's check out four members of the Squad. It seems Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) all chose not to wish their constituents a Happy 4th of July. Today's jobs report is not nearly as good as the Left wants you to believe. Plus, they quietly revised the past two months numbers down over 111,000 jobs. We also saw unemployment go up to 4.1%. And, 74% of the jobs were in the public sector or healthcare. Next, we spend time going through more tap-dancing from the Leftist media outlets and their proxies. Joe Biden told Democrat Governors that he needs to get more sleep and not work so hard. The AP said Biden is “sharp and focused, but sometimes confused and forgetful.” That ought to help. Joe Scarborough has found a 3rd position to take on Biden's debate performance. Peter Baker, Chief White House correspondent for the NYTimes put out a tweet where it is so hard to decide which side he favors as a “journalist.” Olivia Nuzzi with New York Magazine wants us to know she first heard about the disturbed interactions people were having with Joe Biden starting in January, but it took her seven months to finally write her story. She must really suck at what she does. Little Brian Stelter was back on his on CNN and wants us to believe Democrats are must more pious and sanctified because they are at least having the conversation over replacing Joe Biden. Those waskily wepublicans are sticking with a “convicted felon.” VP Kamala Harris is on the damage control bandwagon. She is selling the tale that Joe is just as sharp and as on the ball as ever. He just had a bad night, but we need to give him some time to show the world he's totally fine. Similarly, the self-appointed consiglere of the Biden Crime Family Syndicate is out pushing the same narrative. Axios, however, may have revealed the most concerning item to today. It seems three of Jill Biden's closest advisers and confidants are the ones surrounding Joe Biden, where he's lost all independence. I don't remember voting for Annie, Ashley and Anthony, the triple A's, to call the shots. We start to wind down with the State Supreme Court in Wisconsin shooting down the law preventing ballot drop boxes. Seems they are pretty focused on being able to use them for cheating once again. We remind you of Kamala's soft bigotry of low-expectation stance regarding voter ID laws. And, we remind you that the VP is a very low-IQ person, even when she tries so hard to sound smart. Then Clark plays Over/Under with Hyung to see if he can guess the price of some of the hits in 2024 Bowman baseball set sold recently. Lastly, Clark and John wrap up the show with their weekly segment "Pick 1" where the hosts put up two cards and then debate which they'd rather invest in. -------------------------- CONNECT WITH US! Today is Friday and our tradition of late is to open the show, after giving my weekly shout-outs and thank-yous, with Tara Bulls Top 10 News Items the Legacy/mainstream media likely didn't tell you about this week. I'm glad we close the week with that because I always have items in my stack that I cannot get to, and it's nice to go through a list of items for news stories I didn't get a chance to discuss. The next topic comes from a comment made from an Award-winning journalist who currently works for Politico. Heidi Przybyla was on MSNBC and said that the one item linking all of the different people around Donald Trump is their mistaken belief that our rights don't come from Congress or the Supreme Court, but from God. She called them “Christian Nationalists” and turned into the same kind of slur Joe Biden has reserved for the MAGA crowd. So, I spend a few moments reminding this Gen-Xer about the Bill of Rights, our US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Then we dive into another thrilling installment of The Big Fani Willis Reality TV Show. In an affidavit filed in Fulton County today, a investigator with more than 25 years experience, got cell phone data from AT&T from January 1, 2021 through November 30, 2021. This date-range was well before the Big Fani Willis Rico Indictment against Donald Trump. It's also a date-range well before both Fani Willis and Nathan Wade testified as to when their romantic relationship started. Nathan and Fani are not in for a very fun Friday or weekend. The investigator went through extraordinary lengths to try to make sure Nathan Wade's cell phone didn't not show up at Fani Willis's personal condominium. Even with all the efforts, Wade's phone was there at least 35 times for an extended period. But, to make it crystal clear, the Defense Counsel asked him to look at the dates of September 11-12, 2021 and November 29-30, 2021. In both instances, Nathan Wade's cell phone was tracked leaving his home in Cobb County late in the evening and traveling to Willis's condominium and staying until 3 or 4 AM the following morning. This bit of evidence seems to corroborate eye-witness testimony about their relationship being in place in 2021. Unfortunately for both Willis and Wade, they both testified as well, that their relationship didn't begin until 2022. It's one thing to lie in public and to your friends. But it is perjury when done under oath. Now it is no longer just a matter of a conflict of interest, now we are looking at actions that can lead to their disbarment and maybe opens the door to criminal charges. To close, I did want to recap the FBI's CHS who told his handlers in 2017 about contacts at Burisma telling him about bribing Joe and Hunter Biden. While it has only now become convenient for the Biden regime to arrest the source for supposedly lying, it doesn't seem to hold water when looking at the timeline and the context. I personally believe they are sending a message to any and all future whistleblowers, if you cross the regime, you will pay a heavy price. Lastly, out of no where, the Biden White House says they may be able to do something at the border through the use of executive authority. You cannot make this us, folks! We are all living in a Mel Brooks Reality TV world and the people on the outside are laughing their butts off at us. In this experience we look into the reasons why airports may get much busier than normal. We start out the podcast with a trip review of Vinod who recently flew to London-Heathrow. It was his virgin flight on an Airbus 350. There was no free seat selection with the ticket that he purchased. When Vinod flew out of Vancouver the British Airways, Cathay Pacific and Plaza Premium lounges were all under renovation. This led to an interesting temporary lounge in Vancouver's International departures. The flight was quiet and uneventful with a landing at Heathrow Terminal 3. It had been decades since Vinod had flown into Terminal 3. Vinod had a chance to meet up with Paul from Layovers while in London. On his return to Vancouver, Vinod had a bag that was at the weight limit. Thankfully there were friendly service staff to help him with the situation. Vinod used the Flighty app which performed very well. The flight had an empty seat beside him and was quick and efficient on the trip back to Canada. If you're liking this episode experience, you may also enjoy Experience 35. "Beating the queue. Taylor Swift is a current example who has caused airlines to do incredible things. simpleflying.com article Taylor Swift, Like A Hurricane, Prompts Airline Change Fee Waivers  Sometimes there are things that you're aware that some airports will be busy like holidays. Other times you may not be aware of things like sporting events, large conventions, trade shows or political events. It can throw you for a loop if you don't know things that are happening at that airport. Geoff remembers flying into Cairo during Hajj and it was a connection point for flights from all over Africa. Finally, there are large international airshows with some beautiful aircraft that may or may not delay you when flying. But you could end up with a wonderful view from your window.   News Items: simpleflying.com article United Airlines Passengers Can Now Extend Their Trip With Deutsche Bahn Tickets  simpleflying.com article Vistara Airbus A320 Turns Back After Dog Spotted At Goa Airport Runway    If you have a story about unexpectedly busy airports, or other experiences that you would like to share, please email us at stories(at)seat1a.org or find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Today's show opens with another example of me never getting tired of being right. I suggested on yesterday's show that Liz Magill, President of the University of Pennsylvania didn't have a change of heart because she realized how wrong she was to not acknowledge calls for genocide against Jews was against their code of conduct. Instead, I stated that the only reason she was apologizing was due to one or more alums pulling their annual gifts to the college. My show wasn't even 24 hours old when the word hit that $100 million was being pulled away from the college. It also looks like Penn is being sued on behalf of some students who were, in fact, harassed and bullies. And, we found another professor on the staff of UPenn who stated her pro-Hamas/anti-Israel beliefs. On top of that, I found a piece written in the Harvard Crimson where their president, Claudine Gay, expressed her deepest apologies for how she came across during Tuesday's testimony before Congress. The reality is, we know why they could not answer the question because if they admitted the anti-Semitic behaviors were against their code of conduct, the next question would be why they didn't do anything about it. This is the catch-22 of their own making. Next, we move to my friend Tara's weekly Top 10 News Items you probably didn't hear on your Legacy/mainstream media. One of those items, 9 new Hunter Biden indictments, is what we jump into next. Seems US Attorney David Weiss has filed 9 significant charges against Hunter in the state of California. I take time to breakdown just how much Hunter spent during a 3-year period and how he claimed to his ex-wife and child that he had no money. Joe Biden calls Hunter “the smartest man he knows” and yet this guy is as dumb as a box of rocks and two scoops of dirt. Mollie Hemingway, Editor-in-Chief at the Federalist made some additional observations and even included a friendly tip for Hunter, notably, don't admit to criminality in your memoirs before the statue of limitations has run out. We then discuss a letter Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) sent to Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) about destroying all the evidence they collected, yet found a letter indicating they gave much of that evidence to Fani Willis in Fulton County, GA for her racketeering indictments. On top of that, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) sent a letter to Fani Willis indicating his committee wants to see all of the collusion and documents shared between her, the J6 Committee, Special Prosecutor Jack Smith's office and the White House. The timing and collusion of all this reminded me of something former Speaker Newt Gingrich said back when the big Fani Willis indictments were announced. Finally, we close with two sillier news items. The first, according to a new law in California, if a retailer doesn't have a gender-neutral toy aisle, they will be fined $500. I have a solution for them and I think it's worth implementing state-wide. Second, remember when Kevin McCallister went to the grocery store in Home Alone? In 1990, his groceries cost $19.83. Today, those exact same items would run $72.28. Thanks, Bidenomics for making Christmas so special. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. We review the situation of the passengers who were flying from Paris to Singapore with a farting and drooling dog in premium economy. Singapore airlines finally got the issue resolved and credited them for their experience. In days gone by, your travel agent would have been your point of contact. Now you're mostly on your own. Over the last four years, airlines lost many individuals who were extremely proficient in high-touch customer experience. Even more than ever, airline agents are working from home. Things that can be done virtually can be much different than in person. A key is knowing how to be efficient and work with the people on the other side of the desk. Vinod shares a story of remotely assisting a family member with a Cathay Pacific and WestJet check-in. He was even able to resolve some of it while sitting on his sofa! Experience 076. That's the Ticket. Another Look at Bookings.

In this experience we take a trip into the show's archives and review tickets and booking. We start out with a review from Vinod about his flight in the summer with Porter from Toronto to Vancouver. As people are looking for good fare prices, this is a good lead-in to a discussion about ticketing. We talked about ticketing in our very early experiences and are revisiting it in this experience. The moment that you purchase the right to travel on an aircraft, you get a Passenger Name Record. Every airline has their own PNR. Make sure you don't share pictures of your PNR online. But airline ticketing systems are not as advanced as some would think. Sometimes an e-ticket does not get associated with the PNR. Sometimes a booking ends up only being a shell. When you need to fix it, you will need a specialized ticketing representative. This is why an airline representative can't fix it...they may simply not have the access. Vinod shares a story of checking in a passenger and somehow not noticing that there was no e-ticket associated with it. One of the key aspects of any ticket booking is who is in control of the ticket. Is it the airline, the travel agent or someone else. An airline will do everything it can to keep the control of the ticket, including upgrades in certain circumstances. But sometimes things go sideways, and an airline needs to hand over control to another airline. In the days of paper tickets this Flight Interruption Manifest was almost like an I Owe You between airlines. Today, it all gets processed electronically. Things can get a bit complicated when a travel agent is involved. Vinod shares a recent experience of helping with a ticket booked with a travel agent and some of the surprises involved. We look at fare classes which are important when you have to make changes. Is your fare class available anymore when you change the ticket? What do you have to pay for cancellations and/or refunds? We look at how much ticketing has changed with it now being much more transparent than in the past. We also answer that question asked so often "when is the best time to buy a cheap ticket?" We recommend having a budget and if your ticket is in that budget then book it and don't look back! How much talking are airlines doing with each other? Vinod shares a story when he had two tickets flying from Toronto to London to Madrid. If you're liking this episode experience, you may also enjoy Experience 1. "Maiden Flight." It's available wherever you listen to your podcasts. When your Passenger Name Record is created, be very careful with entering the name and passport information because it could be very difficult to change the information.   News Items: simpleflying.com article British Airways Reportedly Offering Passengers Money To Avoid Heathrow Lounges  simpleflying.com article Singapore Airlines Passengers Demand Refund After Farting Dog Disrupts Their Flight   If you have a story about ticketing, or other experiences that you would like to share, please email us at stories(at)seat1a.org or find us on Facebook, Twitter/X, and Instagram. In this experience we take a look at our summer 2023 travel plans, and also look at trips we took in June. It's a very different summer than that of 2022. We're getting closer to how things were pre-pandemic with higher amounts of staffing, however now we have to really search again for cheap fares. Vinod and Geoff had travels in June in Canada. Geoff flew to Yukon and did a large road trip from there also through Alaska. Geoff flew with Air North which had a terrific Connector Fare deal to Whitehorse from Calgary. There were a few adventures on the way - including waiting on the tarmac in Toronto for technical reasons and Vancouver for connecting passengers; and a bag drop in Vancouver that still required a visit to a check-in desk. Vinod shares his memories of tarmac holds and whether the passengers should be released. Canada is very large. Toronto to Whitehorse is approximately the same distance as Toronto to Bogota, Colombia. Vinod had an early morning flight to London, Ontario. He learned about extra costs if pre-reserving an Uber. All airlines have a headstart focus for their first flights - trying to get out early for the day. Vinod had worked as crew on the exact same Frozen plane that he was flying on. Even though he had worked for years in Calgary, there were new terminal wings he had not experienced before. His arrival in London was uneventful. Vinod returned to Toronto with a rental car. There was added adventures making the baggage cutoff time and unexpected and unpleasant calls to the car rental agency due to a forgotten item. If you're liking this episode experience, you may also enjoy Experience 22. "Why is my plane parked there? The world of gate assignments." It's available wherever you listen to your podcasts.  Geoff and Vinod discuss their upcoming summer travel. Geoff has a transatlantic adventure along with inter-European flights. Geoff shares a tip on how to manage a flight on Turkish Airlines booked with other airlines' points. Vinod has a family vacation to Toronto. Vinod is trying a new cross-country player in the Canadian air market. We share a tip on how to find the price floor for fares.
