You've done the therapy sessions, meditation retreats, and healing workshops. You've read the books and tried every modality you could find. Yet somehow, you still feel stuck - like you're operating from old patterns that just won't shift, no matter how much inner work you do.Dr. John Churchill brings a unique perspective to this puzzle. With his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, 15 years of training in Tibetan meditation practices, and founding membership in Ken Wilber's Integral Institute, he's spent 25 years developing integrated approaches to healing that go beyond traditional therapy. In This Groundbreaking Conversation, You'll Learn:• Why trauma isn't just personal - it's multi-generational, cultural, and woven into the fabric of civilization itself • How your nervous system carries imprints from ancestors you've never met, and why this matters for your healing journey• The hidden reason why individual therapy, meditation, and plant medicines can only take you so far before hitting an invisible ceiling • Why your traumas need other nervous systems to release - it's not a personal failing, it's biology • How the culture's dysfunction becomes your personal dysfunction, and what this means for lasting transformation • The difference between transcending your wounds and actually healing them at the root level • Why community healing isn't just "nice to have" - it's essential for rewiring patterns that formed in relationship • How cleaning up childhood traumas unlocks access to profound spiritual states naturallyThis isn't about adding another healing technique to your toolkit. Dr. Churchill reveals how our individual healing journeys are actually part of a larger planetary transformation - and why understanding this connection changes everything about how we approach our own growth. If you've ever felt like you're doing "all the right things" but still hitting the same walls, this episode offers a radically different framework for understanding what true healing actually requires. For today's podcast, Lauren is talking to John Lewis, a mindset and performance coach at JL Mindset Performance. After working as a holiday rep, on building sites and owning a courier company, John went into coaching because it was something that he realised he'd always done; helping other people and being interested in others'. He trained and qualified as a performance coach, and has training in first aid for mental health and NLP.He works with businesses, sports teams and individuals to help them in their personal life, or helping them to achieve what they want to achieve, and to overcome any obstacles that are hindering them in reaching their goals.John has a love of sport himself and regularly works with Swindon Town Football Club, delivering different training to their staff, alongside working with other international sports men and women. Presently he's working with a lady who is ranked number two in Clay Pigeon shooting her in the UK. As with many sports people, it isn't the technical or tactical things they need support with, but emotional barriers that sometimes get in their own way of success.During and after Covid, John had to embrace his fear of technology and embrace online platforms to talk to people which was something he really didn't want to do, but has embraced, although as you'll hear, he far prefers face to face meetings. Flexibility is something that is important to John and so he offers clients a space to work where they feel comfortable. Many people are uncomfortable about talking to people with problems, which is impacting on businesses, and John talks about how many days are lost due to people having poor mental health.John's passion for helping others' shines through in his conversation, as he encourages people to ask for help to stay on top of things rather than seeing problems as a weakness. To contact John:Website: https://www.jlmindsetperformance.co.ukLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-lewis-691917173/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JLmindsetperformanceInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/john_m1nd5et/Phone: 07947808675If you would like to contact me, you can visit my www.Scottmedia.uk or join my free Facebook group here https://www.facebook.com/groups/prtribe

Are you struggling to break through your income ceiling despite working hard and attending countless seminars? In this eye-opening episode, I sit down with Dr. Noah St. John, known worldwide as the "Father of Afformations" ( with an “o”—to distinguish his approach from traditional affirmations). He found that classic affirmations like “I am confident” or “I am wealthy” often triggered resistance in the subconscious mind. If you don't believe the statement, your brain basically replies, “Yeah, right.” So instead, he developed Afformations, which are empowering questions that assume the positive outcome is already true. For example:This subtle shift turns your brain into a kind of internal search engine, prompting it to look for reasons the statement could be true. He believes this method bypasses internal resistance and rewires limiting beliefs more effectively. So no—he doesn't call them affirmations. He calls them Afformations, and he sees them as a breakthrough in personal development. Want to try crafting a few together? I'd be happy to help.and mental health coach to high-profile clients. Most people undercharge not because they're greedy, but because they underestimate their true value.I had such an eye-opening conversation with John Ray—business advisor, pricing strategist, and author of The Generosity Mindset. We talked about why pricing is way more emotional than most people admit, and how confidence, perceived value, and intentional generosity all shape the way your business grows. John breaks down the common pricing traps entrepreneurs fall into (like hourly billing or selling from your own wallet), and how asking better questions can shift everything about how you show up and get paid.Whether you're a coach, consultant, or creative service provider, this episode will make you think differently about how you price your work and position your value. John's generous insights (true to his brand!) help you feel more confident charging what you're worth—and building relationships that actually last.Highlights:Why your clients usually see more value in you than you see in yourself. How generosity, when done with intention, leads to better pricing and deeper trust.A new way to think about pricing based on transformation, not time. What it really means to have a “value conversation” with clients.Simple mindset shifts that make selling feel less awkward and more authentic.Connect with John:Website: https://www.johnray.co/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/johnray1/ Podcast: https://www.johnray.co/podcast-price-and-value-journey In appreciation for being here, I have some gifts for you:A LinkedIn Checklist for setting up your fully optimized Profile:An opportunity to test drive the Follow Up system I recommend by checking this presentation page - you won't regret it.
