Mùa thu theo truyền thống là mùa tổ chức hội chợ rượu vang tại Pháp. Trong vòng một tháng, các chuỗi siêu thị ở Pháp đều có những chương trình khuyến mại hấp dẫn như mua bốn chai tặng hai, hay mua hai tặng một. Vào lúc mức sản xuất vẫn còn cao trong khi đà tiêu thụ lại giảm sút, hội chợ mùa thu 2025 phần nào giúp ngành sản xuất rượu vang Pháp, bù đắp những thiệt hại, giải quyết hàng tồn kho. Cuộc khủng hoảng rượu vang không chỉ liên quan tới Pháp mà còn diễn ra tại nhiều nước khác trên thế giới. Theo Tổ chức quốc tế về Nho và Rượu vang OIV, tính từ hơn 6 thập niên qua, chưa bao giờ sản lượng rượu vang toàn cầu xuống đến một mức thấp như vậy : 237 triệu hectolit trong năm 2024 trên thế giới, tức giảm 2% so với năm 2023 và giảm 16% so với một thập niên trước.  Nhìn chung, các nhà sản xuất rượu vang Pháp đang phải đối mặt với một tình huống khó khăn. Ngoài thời tiết bất lợi và các loài côn trùng, nấm mốc khiến ngành trồng nho bị mất mùa, các nhà sản xuất còn phải đối mặt với hiện tượng người tiêu dùng đang dần thay đổi thói quen : người lớn tuổi ngày càng ít uống rượu vang, trong khi nhiều bạn trẻ ở Pháp thích dùng bia hay các loại thức uống ít có cồn. Trả lời phỏng vấn RFI ban tiếng Pháp, ông Raphaël Schirmer, giảng viên chuyên về rượu vang tại Đại học Bordeaux Montaigne, cho biết cuộc khủng hoảng rượu vang trong những năm gần đây không hẳn là một tin xấu đối với mọi người. Raphaël Schirmer : Tôi không nghĩ đó nhất thiết là một tin xấu. Thị trường quốc tế đã chịu nhiều áp lực mạnh do phát triển thiếu đồng đều trong những năm gần đây. Sản lượng tại Pháp vượt xa mức tiêu thụ. Đó là trường hợp điển hình của vùng Bordeaux.Từ vài năm qua, vùng Bordeaux đều sản xuất dư thừa trong khi nhu cầu tiêu dùng ngày càng giảm xuống. Cuộc khủng hoảng vì thế ngày càng trầm trọng, nhiều công ty kinh doanh ở Bordeaux không bán được rượu, dẫn đến tình trạng nhổ bớt các gốc cây nho (trên một diện tích 10.000 hécta) để điều chỉnh mức sản xuất hàng năm. Đây là một thời kỳ hết sức khó khăn đối với những gia đình chuyên trồng nho để làm rượu ở Pháp. Do bị tác động mạnh mẽ, nên công ty kinh doanh rượu vang cần được hội đồng cấp vùng giúp đỡ. Trong một số trường hợp, đó không còn đơn thuần là một vấn đề kinh tế mà còn liên quan đến truyền thống và di sản. Chính quyền có thể tài trợ giúp một công ty chuyển hoạt động sang một ngành khác, nhưng rất khó thể nào thuyết phục một gia đình sống  nhờ nghề trồng nho làm rượu trong nhiều thế hệ, từ đời này sang đời nọ, phải đổi nghề, vì đó là lẽ sống của họ.  Về phần mình, ông Valentin Morel là chủ nông trại Les Pieds sur Terre ở vùng Jura và đồng thời là tác giả quyển sách Un autre vin nói về việc sản xuất rượu vang tự nhiên (nhà xuất bản Flammarion). Theo ông, cuộc khủng hoảng hiện nay cũng đặt lại vấn đề thâm canh, năng suất thu hoạch cao trong khi mức tiêu dùng lại giảm. Nhưng bù lại, khi mọi người tổ chức ăn tối tại nhà với bạn bè, người thân, hoặc trong các bữa tiệc cuối năm, đa số người tiêu dùng thích chọn các chai rượu vang hảo hạng hay các hiệu sâm panh ngon. Có thể nói là ở Pháp, rượu vang vẫn gắn liền với một số truyền thống lễ lạc, người ta nói khui rượu ăn mừng, chứ không ai nói khui bia ăn mừng. Làm thế nào để thích ứng với biến đổi khí hậu ? Còn theo nhà sản xuất rượu vang vùng Jura Valentin Morel, bên cạnh những đề xuất của ngành nông nghiệp truyền thống, việc phát triển các kỹ thuật canh tác bền vững cũng như trồng nho theo phương pháp tự nhiên là một giải pháp khả thi, có thể giúp ứng phó với mối đe dọa biến đổi khí hậu trong những năm tới.  Valentin Morel : Cho dù tôi ủng hộ ngoành nông nghiệp bền vững, nhưng theo tôi các biện pháp trồng trọt tự nhiên là một trong những câu trả lời, chứ chưa phải là giải pháp tối ưu. Tôi nghĩ rằng để đối phó với khủng hoảng, ngành trồng nho nên kết hợp cùng lúc nhiều phương pháp. Đầu tiên hết chúng ta nên hỗ trợ các nhà trồng nho đang gặp khó khăn, giúp họ thay đổi dần các phương thức canh tác. Biện pháp thứ nhì là kết hợp các kỹ thuật nông-lâm : một mặt gieo mầm để trồng thêm nhiều loài rau quả, hạt đậu. Các loài cây mọc sát đất này giống như một tấm thảm « thực vật » che nắng, giúp cho mặt đất không bị quá khô hay quá nóng. Ngoài ra, trồng cây ở xung quanh vườn nho để tạo thêm bóng râm, giúp duy trì độ mát và độ ẩm. Một điều quan trọng khác nữa là việc lựa chọn giống nho : nên chọn các giống nho có khả năng kháng bệnh và chịu đựng thời tiết khắc nghiệt. Các nhà sản xuất rượu ở vùng Jura như tôi đều nhận thấy rằng hai nước láng giềng Đức và Thụy Sĩ đều tiến bộ hơn nhiều so với nước Pháp. Các giống nho có khả năng kháng bệnh cao thường là những gốc nho xuất phát từ quá trình cấy ghép, lai giống. Đức và Thụy Sĩ thường ghép các giống nho của châu Âu với các giống nho đến từ châu Mỹ. Có lẽ cũng vì thế, các gốc nho "lai giống này" có khả năng kháng cự tốt hơn vì phần lớn các loại bệnh dễ lan truyền lại đến từ châu Mỹ, trong đó có các bệnh do côn trùng (phylloxera) hoặc do các loài nấm (mildiou hay odium) gây ra . Theo nhận xét của các chuyên gia, việc trồng các gốc nho "lai giống" cũng ít gây ô nhiễm bởi vì các nhà sản xuất không cần phải dùng nhiều chất hóa học để bảo vệ mùa màng, đề phòng hoặc diệt bệnh. It's in response to chef Jason Atherton saying he had never seen sexism in the kitchen - he has since clarified his comments, saying that he wasn't denying the existence of sexism, just that he hadn't 'witnessed it personally. Một tổ chức của người cao niên tại Nam Úc được biết đến nhiều nhất, không chỉ ở tiểu bang nầy mà tiếng tăm vang xa các nơi khác, đó là Hội Quán Tao Phùng với món bún bò Huế và cà phê đá đặc biệt vào mỗi thứ bảy. Thế nhưng sau mấy mươi năm hoạt động, những người sáng lập cùng các hội viên đầu tiên lần lượt sang bên kia thế giới, cộng thêm dịch COVID khiến cho hội quán Tao Phùng không kham nổi với tiền thuê chỗ để sinh hoạt. Từ chỗ là một hội quán với các hoạt động văn hóa và ẩm thực, nay chỉ còn là một nhóm xã hội Tao Phùng, với mục đích chính là du ngoạn và thăm viếng trong các viện dưỡng lão. Bà Hà Thị Phương Ngôn hiện là Hội trưởng của Hội và nay là Nhóm Tao Phùng cho biết thêm chi tiết.

Nhóm 'Không Thèm Nhớ' tại Melbourne thuộc Hội Phụ Nữ Á Châu AVWA đã được biết đến, trong một buổi phát thanh trước đây trong tiết mục "Cao Niên Vui Sống'. Nay nước Úc đang vào muà đông với thời tiết lạnh giá và nhất là gần đây, nhiệt độ tại Melbourne có lúc xuống dưới không độ. Liệu trời lạnh như vậy có ảnh hưởng gì đến sinh hoạt của nhóm hay không, cô Hà Vân Trưởng nhóm 'Không Thèm Nhớ' cho biết.
