God will use the most unlikely individuals to be a blessing to you. There are some who are equipped and have made themselves available to be used by God to bless you, and they don't always come wrapped in a perfect package; they may seem like the least likely ones that could be a blessing to you. Sermon Notes Ephesians 3:21 NIV "…to [God] be glory in the church (ekklesia) and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Our Mission: to become more like Jesus. The Global church is made up of every believer of every people group, language, and nation to the ends of the Earth. "We are Christians only, not the only Christians." The Local church is made up of a group of believers who agree to gather together in a specific location to serve each other and build each other up as we continue to fulfill God's will to the ends of the Earth. Acts 1:8 NIV "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." - Acts 2:42 NIV "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread (the Lord's Supper/Communion) and to prayer." Acts 2:43-44 NIV "Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common." Acts 2:45-47a NIV "They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people." The early gathering of believers stood out for their generosity. Acts 2:47b NIV "...and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." Acts 4:36-37 NIV "Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means 'son of encouragement'), sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles' feet." Imagine a scene the Bible describes before the very throne of God in…Revelation 4:8-10 (NIV)Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:“‘Holy, holy, holyis the Lord God Almighty,'who was, and is, and is to come.”Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: Then…Revelation 4:11 (NIV)“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” We know from physics that your physical body is composed of atoms arranged differently into molecules to form different kinds of physical realities in your body. Different tissues. Cells. An atom is composed of a nucleus with electrons revolving around it. The nucleus of an atom is 200,000 times smaller than the diameter of the atom. The electrons are many times smaller than the nucleus. In other words an atom consists of millions of times more space than solid matter. Because atoms are in fact mostly empty space, most of your body is empty space. But we see it and feel it as solid. You can't see the atoms because they are way too small. But they are very real. So if you imagine right now your body comprised of and full of unseen atoms — the DNA and RNA in your cells throughout your body — but there is mostly empty space between the atoms that comprise your body — when you use your imagination to see and feel your body this way, you're experiencing something that's very real but unseen. And that's what you're doing when you're using your imagination to experience and feel God in you and always with you. Colossians 1:16-17 (NIV) Acts 17:28 Romans 11:36 (NIV) 1 Corinthians 8:6 (NIV) Every atom in your body owes its existence and its current presence to the presence of God right now in this moment. You don't create yourself. You don't live for your glory. Your will. You exist because it was God‘s will for you to exist in his universe – forever. The forever God wanted to be your God forever. This is why he gave you you're being. This is why you have your being right now in this moment. The forever God is your God forever! And that reality can put joy and gladness into your whole body right now in this moment.“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”“For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, …all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”“In him we live and move and have our being.” This is a tremendous relief. Understanding this kills anxiety. The fight or flight of living for your own glory. Falsely believing your life depends on the perfection of your will. Your power. You can just let go of so much anxiety and fear and insecurity and anger and fight or flight central nervous system living. Rest in God's lordship. Power. Presence. Will for you. The reason he created you. So take a deep breath. Release your clenched muscles. Let go of the tension. Let your muscles soften. You can trust. You can depend on. Rely on. This increases your blood oxygen level, improves circulation to facilitate healing, lowers stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline, turns off your SNS to calm your body, and helps reduce pain volume if you deal with chronic pain. Throughout your day you can check which type of breathing you're doing—stressed versus relaxed—and catch yourself when your breathing gets stressed and shallow in your chest. The moment you notice that you're chest breathing is the moment you can do a very quick short meditation to change your physiology, shut off your SNS stress response, and lower your anxiety dial by breathing lower and slower instead.Your body is always responding to what your mind is imagining one way or the other. Like I said in the last episode about warming my hands by simply using my imagination. I was imagining holding my hands over a hot campfire. Then a few minutes later the temperature thermometer in my hand started rising..The point is that this is always happening in your body. The power of momentum. Is a God created force – Newton's law of motion. If the road behind me is not growing ever longer, then it is likely that the feet underneath me are not moving any longer. And if my feet are not moving, I have somehow; somewhere traded this most glorious journey for lesser endeavour. * Craig P. Lounsbrough *Not moving for Jesus, you're moving for something else. By Pastor George Lehman If momentum could be put into a vaccination, I would get you to line up on Sunday, hold you down and give it to you!!! Getting momentum is harder than maintaining it. This is the problem with so many – they have to keep kicking themselves into gear to get momentum. Example: “To live a successful, impacting spiritual life requires first to use ten units of effort to produce one unit of results. Your momentum will then produce ten units of results with each unit of effort.” - Charles J. Givens Far too many Christians want to use one unit of effort and expect 10 units of results. 2 Chronicles 15:7 – But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded. God designed us for momentum. Momentum means – force gained by movement. Here are some momentum scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV) – Therefore, my dear brothers, *stand firm. Let nothing *move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. *move you = stop your momentum * Stand firm = It's a momentum word. I'm putting in the effort, to get the results. Philippians 3:14 (NIV) – I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Matthew 25:21 (NIV) – “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' We have heard it said many times that “a word from the Lord can change our life”. But God, literally with one word, can ignite something inside each of us… … creating a kind of divine momentum. Trust God to ignite a fresh fire of momentum in your life with these words: Choice It takes an on-purpose choice to release momentum in your life. Choice [Oxford dictionary] - it's the power to willingly decide to do one thing rather than another. (Choose to be idle or choose to have momentum) Deuteronomy 30:19 (LB) – “I call heaven and earth to witness against you that today I have set before you life or death, blessing or curse. Oh, that you would choose life; that you and your children might live!” We all have the power of choice, but once used, our choices have power over us. Make choices that propel your momentum to a greater fruitfulness in Christ. Commitment Daily commitment gives fuel to momentum. Commitment says I will actually do what I say we will do. Matthew 24:13 – He who endures to the end. Not until a crises comes and my momentum stops. 1 Peter 4:19 (NIV) – So then, those who suffer according to God's will, should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good. Decisions are made in a moment but for real momentum to grow comes from a daily commitment. Your commitment is tied to your momentum. You will have as much momentum as what you have commitment. Priorities Our priorities drive our momentum. You are living right now exactly what your priorities are! If you say, “I can't seem to get momentum in my spiritual life”, check your priorities. Our idea of priorities is what needs to be done first, second, third and so on. However – God has a different idea of prioritizing our lives to give us the momentum we need. He wants to be first – always! Matthew 6:33 (Amp) – But seek (aim at and strive after) *first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. *first = “If your position is everywhere your momentum is zero.” - W.N. Lipscomb Jeremiah 17:10 (LB) – Only the Lord knows! He searches all hearts and examines deepest motives so he can give to each person his right reward, according to his deeds—how he has lived. (God knows are priorities) If you want to keep up your momentum, make sure your priorities are God priorities. Servanthood This separates the goats from the sheep. If you want to increase the level of your momentum, just begin to serve. Someone without momentum will always duck and dive out of their responsibilities. Mark 10:45 (NIV) – For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. The surest way to kill momentum is when you become self-serving: Selecting how and when you will serve. To think you do God and the ministry a favor because you do something for Him. When you seek acknowledgement for what you do. 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV) – Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. When it comes to your life, how much momentum do you have? You know you have momentum when you are living: Relentless (non-stop; persistent) Steadfast (loyal; faithful) Determined (firm; set) Unwavering (tireless; unshakeable) Unshaken (not disturbed) Constant God-pleasing life (ceaseless) Galatians 6:9 (Amp) “And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.” The power of momentum. Momentum: The strength or force that something has when it is moving. God moves with the movers, He does not sit with the sitters There are no idle disciples in God's Kingdom. Momentum is never an accident – it's by choice, commitments, priorities, and servanthood. A life of momentum is blessed. Psalm 128:1 (Amp) – Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is everyone who fears, reveres and worships the Lord, who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments. *****

I Corinthians 12:3, states, “Even so the body is not made up of one part but many.” (NIV) It is a work of beauty to see the members of the kingdom of God work together in one accord (Psalms 133:1-2). He executes his master plan to fulfill his will within our lives. Today I discuss the importance of being a member of this divine team. We should not look at the leaders and ministers that are in the forefront of the Kingdom and feel excluded.
