Chuck opens the podcast with a wide-ranging look at what he sees as the long-term impact of the Trump administration's foreign policy. He argues that the United States has weakened many of the alliances and institutions that underpinned American influence for decades, raising questions about whether key partners in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East can still rely on Washington as a stable security partner. Then Chuck is joined by Eurasia Group founder Ian Bremmer for an in-depth conversation about the aftermath of the Iran war, the future of the Middle East, and the growing geopolitical uncertainty facing America's allies. Bremmer explains why he believes the conflict has fundamentally altered regional dynamics, creating competing power blocs led by the UAE and Israel on one side and Saudi Arabia and its partners on the other. He also discusses China's opportunities in the region, the future of Iran's regime, and why the biggest long-term consequence of the conflict may be an accelerated global shift away from oil and gas. The conversation then turns to Russia and Ukraine, where Bremmer delivers a stark warning: Vladimir Putin may now represent the world's most dangerous geopolitical risk. He explains why he is increasingly concerned about Putin's isolation, decision-making, and willingness to escalate as the war continues. In Ask Chuck, listeners ask about Democratic impeachment scenarios, presidential war powers, the future of the Republican Party, and other political questions shaping the road to 2028. Recent news reports suggest that events in the Middle East are reshaping the global balance of power in a way that students of Bible prophecy have long expected. Rising oil prices, war between Israel and Iran, and renewed Russian influence are combining to create a geopolitical picture that aligns remarkably well with the outline given in Scripture.Welcome to another Bible in the News.

Arsenal return from Elland Road with a four-goal win that extends their lead at the top, but the performance itself sparks plenty of debate. The pod breaks down a strange afternoon in Leeds — from a late line-up shock and Bukayo Saka pulling out in the warm-up, to a disjointed opening that gradually turned into set-piece control and second-half authority. There's discussion around Arsenal's reliance on corners, Noni Madueke's growing influence, and why the scoreline ultimately flattered Leeds more than it reflected Arsenal's grip on the game.Attention then turns to Martin Ødegaard's impact off the bench and a wider conversation about control, runners, and whether Arsenal's system is currently helping or hindering their key players. The panel also debates the shift in shape, what the numbers really say about the performance, and why this felt like “business done” rather than a statement win.In Part Two, a major injury update drops live during recording, raising fresh questions about depth and priorities as the season enters a decisive phase. There's also a full Whip Around the Grounds from Matchweek 24, another packed VARse segment dissecting controversial decisions across the league, and a look ahead to Chelsea at the Emirates with Wembley at stake.A routine win on paper — with bigger questions bubbling underneath.Chapters:(00:00) - Arteta's Non-Negotiables Intro(00:54) - Leeds Away: Line-Up Shock & Saka Pulls Out(04:04) - A Scrappy Start & Why Arsenal Looked Dull(06:38) - 0-1 | Set-Piece FC: Zubimendi Breaks the Deadlock(08:42) - 0-2 | Chaos at Corners & Madueke's Growing Influence(12:16) - Second-Half Sloppiness & Missed Kill Shots(15:55) - Odegaard Enters & Instantly Controls the Game(17:11) - 0-3 | Martinelli's Cross, Gyökeres Reacts, Game Over(19:04) - Odegaard Debate: Has He Looked Better Off the Bench?(25:48) - Saka, Runners & The System Problem(30:48) - 0-4 | Jesus Responds: From Net-Negative to Highlight Reel(33:00) - Stats Don't Tell the Story of a 4-0 Win(36:14) - Shape Shift: From 4-3-3 to 4-4-2(42:10) - PT.2 Bombshell: Merino Likely Out for the Season(44:48) - Whip Around the Grounds: Matchweek 24(54:22) - VARse: Brighton, Old Trafford & Villa Park Chaos(01:12:00) - Chelsea Preview: Injuries, Rotation & Wembley Stakes(01:19:20) - Closing

Tucker Carlson has made multiple high-profile visits to the White House in recent weeks, meeting with President Donald Trump for lunch on consecutive Fridays. During his second visit, Carlson was photographed in the Oval Office alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. The purpose of these meetings remains unclear, though Carlson stated that Trump invited him to discuss a topic unrelated to Venezuela or oil. Carlson mentioned he attends these meetings regularly and maintains a close relationship with Vice President JD Vance, though it's uncertain who specifically extended the invitations. One of Carlson's visits coincided with a White House gathering of oil executives discussing Venezuela's oil reserves following the U.S. operation that deposed Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. Carlson attended that event as well, though he characterized his presence as coincidental, saying Trump invited him to join after their lunch concluded. These White House interactions have drawn significant attention, particularly given Carlson's history of promoting controversial content on his podcast, including platforms for figures associated with antisemitic and Holocaust denial narratives. The meetings have sparked considerable backlash within MAGA circles, with internal disagreements emerging over the implications of Carlson's access and influence. Some observers view his repeated White House visits as evidence of his significant sway over Trump's administration, while critics raise concerns about the company he keeps and the content he promotes.Beyond his White House activities, Carlson continues operating his media ventures. His company Last Country, founded with Neil Patel, recently secured fifteen million dollars in seed funding from Omeed Malik's newly launched 1789 Capital investment firm. The venture operates as a subscription-based model while currently building audience through video content streamed on Twitter, including a high-profile interview with Donald Trump that aired simultaneously with the first Republican primary debate. Malik's investment firm positions itself as an anti-woke equity organization with approximately one hundred fifty million dollars available for investment.Carlson has also made significant statements regarding geopolitical issues. He recently argued that the United States taking Greenland would effectively end NATO, characterizing such a move as a tremendous victory for both America and the world. These comments reflect his continued influence in shaping foreign policy discussions within conservative circles. The convergence of Carlson's deepening access to Trump's inner circle, his expanding media operations, and his provocative policy statements demonstrates his substantial role in contemporary American politics and media. His proximity to key administration figures and the favorable reception of his media venture suggest his influence continues to grow despite controversies surrounding some of his content and associations. Thanks for tuning into the Tucker Carlson News Tracker podcast. A viral clip from Sandringham has American viewers fixated on an unexpected detail: what appeared to be a Buc-ee's plush toy in the crowd behind Prince William and his children during the Christmas Day church walk. The Texas convenience-store mascot has no UK footprint, making its appearance at a royal moment both baffling and instantly memeable, with speculation over how it ended up so close to the royals. We also revisit claims from Rob Shuter that Prince William objected to King Charles including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie in the Christmas walk, with sources framing the disagreement as a wider clash over judgement and authority.Meanwhile, Kate is being described as an “eternal influencer” after recognition from British Vogue, as commentators point again to the so-called Kate effect on brands.Plus, renewed scrutiny of royal security after an intruder allegedly breached Kensington Palace grounds twice in the days before Christmas and has now pleaded guilty, with former royal protection officials raising questions about why he was able to return. We wrap with honours list headlines including Idris Elba's knighthood and Cynthia Erivo receiving an MBE, a redesigned British passport now bearing King Charles's coat of arms, and a new Amazon Prime Video documentary on the King's environmental work, narrated by Kate Winslet.Palace Intrigue is your daily royal family podcast, diving deep into the modern-day drama, power struggles, and scandals shaping the future of the monarchy.Hear our new show "Crown and Controversy: Prince Andrew" here.Check out "Palace Intrigue Presents: King WIlliam" here.

In this episode, Rafael Mangual, Daniel Di Martino, and Stu Smith examine the shifting perception of socialism in U.S. politics and the growing visibility of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). Long seen as a political nonstarter, socialism is finding new support among younger voters and progressive movements. What's behind this change—and what does it mean for the future of American democracy and the traditional two-party system?

Tucker Carlson continues to maintain a prominent role in the conservative media landscape, with recent developments reflecting both new directions in his business activities and his ongoing influence in political discourse. The most significant news is his growing connection with 1789 Capital, a venture capital firm that describes itself as anti-ESG and dedicated to backing conservative and “anti-woke” initiatives. According to Le Monde and updated information from the 1789 Capital website, the firm has recently reiterated its support for Carlson's media company, Last Country Inc., which now runs the website for the Tucker Carlson Network. This network remains a focal point for some of the parallel conservative economy efforts backed by several influential investors, including Rebekah Mercer and, as announced just after the 2024 election, Donald Trump Jr., who joined 1789 Capital as a partner. The fund, which already manages roughly $150 million, has signaled its intention to continue supporting Carlson's and other similar ventures as part of their push to reshape conservative media and technology platforms. In terms of media appearances and statements, Carlson has remained active via his network, releasing new interviews and commentary that continue to draw significant attention and response from supporters and critics alike. While specifics on his most recent public remarks are not available at the time of recording, his programming frequently trends across social media and draws engagement from a mix of high-profile political allies and adversaries. He has also remained a prominent topic across Fox News and rival networks, where his commentary and media projects are frequently referenced in broader debates about journalism, misinformation, and political polarization. There have been no major legal developments directly involving Carlson in the past few days, and coverage of his business continues to focus more on the strategic and financial implications of his alignment with investors aiming to build a so-called parallel economy. This alliance has sparked considerable discussion about the influence of alternative conservative media and the increasing push within right-leaning circles to create media infrastructure as a counterbalance to established outlets.Reactions to Carlson's commentary—and by extension, his broader influence—remain sharply divided. Critics on the left and some on the right argue that his platform amplifies divisive rhetoric and questionable information, while his allies praise his willingness to confront major media narratives and offer a platform to perspectives they claim are marginalized elsewhere. Prominent figures in politics and media continue to engage with Carlson's work, sometimes appearing on his program or referencing his influence when addressing broader debates about free speech, censorship, and the purpose of journalism in today's polarized environment. As for the larger implications, Carlson's ongoing projects and his partnership with financially robust backers highlight how he continues to impact the shape of conservative media and its intersection with politics and business. His interactions with figures like Donald Trump Jr. and alignment with venture funds such as 1789 Capital underscore his shift from traditional cable news to a broader, cross-platform media and activism strategy. The debates surrounding his influence, the reach of his new ventures, and their potential to reshape media norms remain highly active both within and outside conservative circles.Thank you for tuning in to the Tucker Carlson News Tracker podcast. The digital world's most alarming vulnerabilities take center stage as we dive into how AI is compromising our justice systems and personal privacy. A senior Australian lawyer shocked the court by submitting AI-generated fake legal citations in a murder trial, with both defense and prosecution failing to verify their accuracy—revealing how our cognitive shortcuts create dangerous blindspots when working with artificial intelligence.Privacy breaches continue their relentless march as hundreds of thousands of conversations with Elon Musk's Grok AI chatbot were exposed through Google search results. These breaches, containing sensitive information from drug manufacturing instructions to medical advice, highlight our growing acceptance of data vulnerabilities as the new normal. The question looms: have we become so desensitized to privacy failures that we no longer demand accountability?Meanwhile, a major ransomware attack on kidney dialysis firm DaVita compromised nearly 2.7 million patients' personal and health information, including social security numbers and even images of personal checks. Most troubling was the months-long delay in disclosure, leaving affected individuals vulnerable without their knowledge. On a lighter note, we say goodbye to a technological relic as AOL's dial-up internet service finally powers down after running since 1989, and Nathan shares his ingenious Disney parks hack—booking rides that commonly break down to score unlimited Lightning Lane passes for both Disneyland and California Adventure in a single day.Join us as we examine these technological turning points while enjoying Remus Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Is it time to consider a pay-for-privacy model, or is guaranteed digital security simply another empty promise? Market futures surged from Wednesday night into Thursday morning after the Court of International Trade halted Trump's tariffs—adding another twist to the ongoing trade policy saga. We explore how President Trump's tariff threats and announcements have repeatedly sparked market volatility, often leading to sharp declines followed by rebounds when he backtracks or extends negotiation timelines. Our experts share insights on how to stay invested amid the noise and uncertainty.Nick also breaks down the latest economic data and NVIDIA's earnings release before diving into a growing concern: the student loan debt crisis. After not being required to make loan payments for nearly half a decade, over 4 million borrowers are now in late-stage delinquency since repayment was reinstated. Borrowers are facing serious consequences like wage garnishment and withheld federal tax refunds, and Social Security payments. As the federal government ramps up collection efforts, many companies are stepping in with new benefits to help employees manage and repay their student loans. To close out the episode, we examine the rise of artificial intelligence in the financial services industry. While AI could bring greater efficiency, it also introduces new risks related to privacy and cybersecurity. Could investors one day be onboarded by an adviser's AI assistant? It's possible—but the value of personal relationships and human guidance remains irreplaceable.Join hosts Nick Antonucci, CVA, CEPA, Director of Research, and Managing Associates K.C.
