My guest is Zulma Williams My guest wrote: “We all have our share of challenges, and sometimes doubt our ability to overcome them. I am a warrior, and I made it my mission to inspire people to discover and honor the warrior inside them. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and immigrated to the US at age 31. At age 42, I started my Bachelor of Social Work program. I graduated at 46, in December of 2011, and two months later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy, moved back to Argentina for three years, and in 2015 I came back to the United States. I enrolled for the Master of Social Work program at age 50. I did my internship and became fully licensed in 2018. I am the founder of Dragonfly Therapy Services, and I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and depression. I survived cancer, abusive relationships, depression, and suicidal ideation, but I never consider myself a victim. Chaz and AJ invited Leo Skinner, a spokesperson for FEMA, on the show to help offer Tribe members an outline to max their aid. Many people have been denied by insurance, and now by federal aid programs, even though their homes have been destroyed. (0:00) In Dumb Ass News, a man rams the car in front of him at the drive thru while waiting for food. What could have possibly happened that lead to such a response? (15:43) After preparing for a year, Chaz officiated his niece's wedding on Sunday. He and his wife, Jennifer shared how the ceremony went, and what dress Jennifer chose to avoid the "burrito" look. (23:12) Hurricane Milton is being described as the worst hurricane for the Tampa area in 100 years. So, how is former intern Magilla preparing? He was on live with Chaz and AJ as News 8's Jayne Chacko joined in studio. (37:36) Jayne Chacko shared some her pet peeves with Chaz and AJ, who got to learn all about vocal fry and cursive singing. (47:31) Another Dumb Ass News segment, this time focusing on the exact moment that may have ended Jane's Addiction as a band. Isolated vocals of Perry Farrell that explain way more about his viral moment on stage with Dave Navarro. (1:05:24)

Betrayal is not the betrayer's fault. This statement holds true in various aspects of life, whether it be in personal relationships, friendships, or even professional settings. Betrayal is a deeply personal and hurtful experience that can have long-lasting effects on the individual who has been betrayed. It is important to recognize that the responsibility for the betrayal lies solely with the betrayer, and not with the person who has been betrayed. In this episode, we are joined by Mr. Jay, a beloved Certified PBT Practitioner who works with betrayed individuals and betrayers. He believes it is an obligation to help others navigate through the stages and phases of betrayal or even prevent it from happening. He has a Master's Degree in Education, a Ministry Credentialed, a Certified Special Education Teacher, Author of a children's book, a Military Veteran, an Inspirational Public Speaker, an Activist, Wedding Officiant, and Adoptive Parent. Mr. Jay shares his knowledge and experiences in dealing with trauma and betrayal, emphasizing the importance of sharing, and learning from these experiences. He takes us on a journey through the different stages of healing, emphasizing the transformative power of personal growth. From feeling overwhelmed and exhausted to eventually experiencing life from a new perspective, he illustrates the profound changes that occur when we invest in our own healing. This discussion offers hope and guidance to those who may be in the earlier stages of their healing process, reminding them that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Listen in as Mr. Jay discusses the stages and foundations of betrayal and offers insights on how to potentially prevent it. Key Takeaways: [00:02:04] Preventing betrayal in relationships. [00:04:23] Whose responsibility is it? [00:08:52] Unattaching the story of betrayal. [00:12:02] Attitude trumps action. [00:14:23] Thinking about drinking poison. [00:18:00] Real forgiveness and healing. [00:22:23] Breaking generational curses. [00:25:10] Rebuilding after betrayal. [00:27:14] Coveting your energy. [00:30:16] Transforming and evolving relationships. I always say what a waste it would have been if all the lessons I learned from my own trauma and betrayal, I would have took to my grave." – Mr. Jay "You are now changing the course of history and the future to ensure your children are not talking to a professional because of the trauma you gave them because you did the hard work. You're breaking generational curses. So, whether it's anything about merchandise or big, huge businesses, it could also be, you know what, I when I'm six feet under, I want to be talked about in a completely different way than I would have been if I did not do this healing.” – Mr. Jay

Having an unforgettable wedding ceremony needs a lot of effort and time preparation. That's why getting someone that is professional in wedding ceremonies will be a big help for you. In this episode of True Love Knots with Maria Romano, our guest is Clint Hufft. He is a wedding officiant, a spokesperson, and an auctioneer. Today, we're going to talk about how Clint got started, what he does in the wedding industry, and what you can get out of it if you're looking to get involved in the wedding industry. Standout Quotes: "I think my connection to the couple is the most important thing. I want the guests to feel welcome. I want them to feel included. But I am very clear that it's not about the guests at all. It's about the couple and the connection between the couple." [Clint] "I always want to make sure they understand that where the license is issued, you are under the auspices of the civil laws of matrimony. And so you better be aware of that. That means that if couples come from other states, I recommend they do their due diligence and find out what the laws of matrimony are in your state." [Clint] "I would suggest that if you want to be an officiant, the first thing you do is become an excellent public speaker. That means you need to be able to embrace the moment and feel comfortable in it because the minute that somebody thinks you're nervous, they're disconnected from the emotional content of what's happening, the significance of what's happening, and their focus is on you." [Clint] Key Takeaways: The most important thing is for the couple to remember and have brilliant memories of their wedding that they can look back on. And anytime anything triggers the memory of their wedding ceremony, it's a good feeling. Is it important for you to have the document and everything locally so that you can easily access that? A license signed by an officiant beyond the country's borders can be contested as invalid. One of the most important things to remember if you want to be an officiant is how to speak to the public comfortably. It isn't just about talking in front of many people but the nuances of doing it well. Episode Timeline: [00:10] Meet today's guest, Clint Huff [01:17] How Clint started in the wedding industry? [08:01] Does the couple have a template to create their own ceremony? [11:43] How much preparation does it take for Clint? [16:19] Special licensing and where does Clint perform most of his ceremonies? [27:36] Where do you think the wedding industry is going? [33:36] What would you tell somebody that wants to get involved in the wedding industry? [37:46] Wedding MBA Learn more about Clint Hufft at: Website: https://weddingmba.com/ http://clinthufft.com/
