The Reasons We Need Our Pigsty Experiences | Elder Warren E. Anderson, Sr. by Pastor Jonathan M. Anderson, Sr.
In this episode, Aunt Abigail LaDean Hill Boone shares delightful memories of when the Jeff and Juanita Hill family lived in Logan, Utah in the 1990s. Among these stories is the tale of a hilarious pigsty dinner when Grandma Juanita Ray Hill revealed her sometimes hidden sense of humor!

A little boys room makes a new home for pigs.
Approximately five years ago we posted our first episode. The episode was, and is, titled, Life Is A Pigsty. In this episode, we reexamine, and elaborate upon, that first episode. Morrissey, Chesterton, & the messiness of life, on this episode of Red Letter Philosophy.
Trump lives in a pigsty, but he thinks it's a great pigsty. DeSantis takes his first overt dig at Trump. Sudan in turmoil. Democrats go on the record as anti-woman. Alec Baldwim could literally shoot someone on 5th Avenue... Dueling demonic manifestos. A coup for birthing units. And Tucker Carlson on what's really going on in America, and why the audience he addresses needed to hear it.
One Thousand and One Nights. These hot stories go back, way back, possibly being the genesis of every horny yarn you've ever heard! Who better to adapt them than friend of the pod Pier Paolo Pasolini? Alex and Ben are back to discuss the third and final film in Pasolini's Trilogy of Life, Arabian Nights. The erotic tales are told out of order and without their usual framing story. Pasolini blends stories within stories as he weaves a dream of different time, a dream of humour, violence, sex, and dick. We also talk about another classic of Italian cinema, The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023).Your hosts also checked out Pigsty (aka Porcile) this week and struggle to speak about it outside of the pig fucking aspect. Next series is The Godfather, but we have a special Pasolini surprise buffer episode before that. What could it possibly be?
We are so busy trying to fill ourselves that we don't notice the distance between ourselves and God. The ashes on our foreheads say, "Today I woke up in the pigsty, and I come to my senses and started my journey back to my Father."

People with ADHD who have a hard time keeping things tidy usually aren't being lazy or thoughtless. They have trouble with a group of skills needed to tackle cleanup tasks and stay organized. These skills are known as executive function. ADHD and Messiness It's important to note that not every person with ADHD will experience tendencies toward messiness or disorganization in their space. And for Messiness and ADHD · Tips for getting organized · ADHD treatment "We offer professional cleaning services exclusively for apartments and condos at budget friendly rates. We are the Apartment Cleaning or Condo Cleaning of choice in the Washington DC - Arlington, VA - College Park, MD area. Our focus is on quality and efficiency. We work in teams (cleankeeper teams) to get more done in less time. With more than 15 years of experience in the cleaning industry, we are proud to show off our skills." One study, The Art of Thought, by Graham Wallas is often quoted when studying creative minds. The study attempts to put order to the creative mind and figure out what makes it tick by assigning 4 stages to the creative process and combining it with 3 super-factors of personality. It's funny because the study albeit lengthy and fastidious, is quite messy (after all it was done by a creative). It seems no matter how we handle the subject of creativity, we get our hands dirty. So how can we possibly bring order to the messy minds of creators? A new paper offers some hope. Psychologists Guillaume Furst, Paolo Ghisletta and Todd Lubart present an integrative model of creativity and personality that is deeply grounded in past research on the personality of creative people. Which brings us back to the beginning of this article. Creativity involves many different stages. Those who are capable of reaching the heights of human creative expression are those who have the capacity for all of these characteristics and behaviors within themselves and are flexibly able to switch back and forth between them depending on the stage of the creative process, and what's most adaptive in the moment. I told you creativity is messy. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chrisabraham/message

In 2012, I watched Harlequins win the Premiership Rugby title at Twickenham. Playing second row that day was Olly Kohn. But 5 years preceding that momentous day, Olly got badly injured To null the tedium his wife gifted him a sausage making kit. In 2007, from a Twickenham flat, The Jolly Hog was born.Next year, along with his brothers, Max and Josh, they started slinging sausages from a food truck at The Stoop. In week 8 of the Red Letter series, we find ourselves in Luke 15:11-20, where Jesus is telling the story of the Prodigal Son. We focus on a young man, sitting in a pigsty, longing to eat what he is feeding the pigs. At that moment he realizes that there is a much better life available, if he will return to his father. Likewise, we may find ourselves in the middle of a pigsty...a muddy mess that we've made out of our lives. We may find ourselves longing for a better life, and realizing that if we return to our Heavenly Father, we can have that life. The question is, will we get up, humble ourselves, and head out to our Father?
Patch and Rich are joined by Josh, Olly and Max to talk through the story of the Jolly Hog. Three brothers from Bristol working together, getting their product to market, to supermarket and into their own restaurant... Pigsty! A fantastic story from 3 top lads!
There was a gorgeous sunrise this morning and life is good. I can’t imagine a place I’d rather be than right here in Duck Key. The problems of the world seem far removed from me and I really don’t even know what the crazies are railing about now as I haven’t watched or read any news. My hunch is they are still driving the racism card and WOKE insanity to the brink . . . https://www.wordsfortheday.com/index.php/2021/05/pigsty/
Four-year-old Eliana Pauls wrote a story during the pandemic. It was about her best friend, a fairy named Sapphire. The fairy had wings, hair of gold, and like Eliana, they both love the colour blue. While Eliana is a real little girl who can be seen by anyone, Sapphire, the fairy, cannot. She can't be seen during regular times and never by people who don't believe in fairies. But once in a blue moon, when the conditions are perfect, she appears with her suitcase. And if you are very lucky, like Eliana, and believe in fairies with your whole heart, you will see her. Another thing that Eliana and Sapphire the Fairy have in common is they both believe and they have faith in imagination. Imagine your way out of loneliness. It worked for a four year old girl name Eliana, who is a real human being, and Sapphire the Fairy, who had forgotten what it was like to believe in humans. Hosted on Acast. In our thinking and in our doing we presume that life is meaningful. We believe our decisions matters. We believe our lives matter. We assume there really is a right and wrong and that it's all going somewhere... somewhere that matters. In short, we believe that life is not futile. This season we explore and draw some conclusions about the existential and the ethical.
Our Father is amazing. Of all the names attributed to God, He desires the name of Abba. Can you imagine that!? The God of all creation, the maker of the heavens and the earth, has impressed upon us through the Holy Ghost to call Him our Father. We should take great comfort in this knowledge. God is our Father. Take a moment to listen to this message. It will demonstrate the unfailing love of the Father towards you. Be blessed as you hear the preaching of the Word of God. -Pastor
Men plot, God Laughs, so goes a Yiddish saying. Philosophers might say we find ourselves at an epistemological disadvantage. We know our experiences and machinations can be more about appearance than reality. We can be mistaken about what we've seen and what we've heard. How else do you explain unrequited love? It is not without reason that Shakespeare wrote: “Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind; And therefore, is wing’d Cupid painted blind” (A Midsummer Night’s Dream). But let not your hearts be troubled. Life may be messy. It may be difficult, if not impossible, to see all ends, but it does not follow that the darkness about us is complete and total. Stay tuned. "Life is a Pigsty. And if you don't know this, then what do you know?" ― Morrissey “For even the very wise cannot see all ends.” ― J. R. R. Tolkien
