Coaching For Pastors - Daily Coaching, Encouragement, and Support for Pastors
Hey my friend, aren't we all sad when Christian leaders are taken down by their own words? Lies, fabrications, (I'm not sure the difference!) racist comments, bad jokes, careless words, sexual innuendo, "off mic" comments, in the heat of the moment retorts, etc.Careless or empty words can cause much pain to us, our families, our churches, and the cause of the Gospel of Jesus. Almost every day it seems like we hear of someone who is publicly known, called to account for their words. We're pastors - we traffic in words. Let's make sure we are not caught speaking in the wrong direction on a one-way street! Let me start by telling you the story of that one board meeting. (the ending I never share in the episode... he was gone seven months later)Support the showFor more great content and conversations for pastors, check out the over 400 episodes of the 200churches Podcast!
