In this Christmas Spectacular edition of Bleedin' Blue & White, Corey is joined by Nick, Jack, Peter, and Joel to break down the growing frustration surrounding the Toronto Maple Leafs as the season winds toward the holidays. The crew debates whether the team's issues stem from effort, execution, or a deeper lack of identity, with pointed discussion around the top six, coaching direction, and a fan base that's clearly losing patience. Rising ticket prices, empty seats at Scotiabank Arena, and comparisons to the passion surrounding the Blue Jays and Raptors only add fuel to the fire.Along the way, the conversation veers into Olympic concerns, Canadian hockey identity, and a few classic side tangents—because it wouldn't be Bleedin' Blue & White without them. The episode closes with holiday wishes, cautious optimism, and the shared hope that something finally clicks before more damage is done.
Roger Lajoie and Sho Alli kick off Monday morning by breaking down the Maple Leafs' winless road trip. The guys assess the level of concern around the team, including the play of Auston Matthews and William Nylander, Craig Berube's job security, the impact of injuries, and what kind of changes should be considered. They also discuss whether the mediocrity of the Atlantic Division eases some of the panic. The conversation then shifts to the Toronto Raptors' difficult weekend, featuring losses to the Celtics and Nets. They discuss if we need to reevaluate our expectations of this team, their place in the Eastern Conference, the roster depth behind Jakob Poeltl, and the potential offensive boost from RJ Barrett's return. After the break, Roger and Sho open the text-line to hear your takes to the Leafs' weekend, Berube's future, Matthews' trade value, and much more! The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.

The Celtics beat the Raptors 112-96 without JB!!! Pritchard went off for 33pts alongside 8reb and 10ast!!! He had 19pts in the 3rd quarter and was truly unstoppable. In a game where JB isn't there to leave his mark, you need guys to step up and while Pritchard surely did, he wasn't along. This was one of the more impressive wins of the year because of the contributions we got off the bench!Hugo left his mark with his defensive tenacity but also added a 10pt 10reb double double with some monster plays down the stretch. Luka Garza was an absolute monster on the glass also adding a 12pt 10reb double double with his9 Offensive Rebounds!!!! While Simons wasn't super efficient in this game, you also got 15pts from him too so this was a real team effort which you love to see!
