Can attachments block our ability to receive? How can attachments create barriers in manifestation? How can I remain open to receiving? What are my attachments? What does it mean to be attached to what you're trying to manifest? How can I detach from my attachments?  In this episode of Love Always, Self, Karista & Shyra discuss how attachments can create blockages in our ability to receive in the process of manifestation. When we are in a state of desire, or a state of desperation, we are actually connecting to a space of lack. This is not to say that we should avoid wanting, but rather guidance to observe and evaluate your mindset to determine if you are grounded in a state of lack or if you are grounded in a state of abundance.  Releasing attachments does not mean to become unattached or emotionless. Instead, set an intention to be open to receive, or not receive, based on what is best for your highest and greatest good and will be most supportive of your spiritual growth in this life.  : Resources Mentioned:  What is Cord Cutting: Love Always, Self on YouTube How to do a Cord Cutting: Love Always, Self on YouTube Guided Meditation: Protection Bubble: Love Always, Self on YouTube : Announcements: Check out Divine Living: Style & Decor! We have 5 exciting ways for you to make saving easier! We want to empower you to make decisions now that create positive habits and set you up for success in your financial future. In this week's episode of Think Like a Saver, we cover: How to automate your savings Mindset shifts to help make saving a habit How starting with small goals adds up in the future — It just takes some simple mindset shifts, tips, and strategies to make saving a little easier. We've broken down our favorite five tips to make saving super simple! Do it automatically - Most employers will allow you to split your direct deposit. You can have a portion of your paycheck that goes directly into savings each time you get paid. If your employer doesn't do this, you can often automatically transfer an amount from your checking account to your savings account.  Make saving a habit, not a destination - Our relationship with money begins when we're young, and old habits can be hard to break. However, confronting your money issues head-on can help you recognize your patterns and create new habits. When you make saving a habit rather than a destination, you understand that your success lies in the small decisions, not once you reach a certain goal.  Start small and think big - When first thinking about saving, it can seem overwhelming. There are plenty of big things to save for - retirement, college, and more! To avoid the overwhelm, start small. Make your first goal something manageable, like to save up an emergency fund, or to pay off small debts. After a few months, you'll be on the path to changing your financial life and will have achieved small goals already! Avoid lifestyle creep - Lifestyle creep can happen at any time, and is a phenomenon that happens when your standards grow as your income grows. For example, some people start spending more on cars or rent when they get promotions or increase their income. It is important to recognize lifestyle creep and set standards for yourself as you begin to earn more. Instead, you can save your newly earned income for future endeavors! Reduce your debt - Paying down debt is saving. Debt is an expense, and when you eliminate your debt, you can put that money toward saving or other financial goals. Reducing your debt can also help you increase your credit score, which can get you better rates on future loans or lower security deposits on future apartments.  These 5 tips are ways that you can make saving easier. The best way to save is to not have to think about it by automating your savings. The next best things you can do are to wrap your mind around what you *can* do right away - which are typically small steps that create good habits and set you up for success.  — RESOURCES MENTIONED: What's your money personality quiz Be sure to send your questions to save@americasaves.com and we'll answer them in our next episode! — THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: We challenge you to embrace one of the five tips to make saving easier on YOU! Choose the step you feel good about, and share it with us!  Be sure to share your progress with us on social media so we can celebrate with you. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok!

While this year started with a high demand for NFTs, the recent months have seen its value drop. This isn't the first time that the crypto winter entered the crypto space. In 2018, the winter lasted for a year. For many investors, this drop discouraged a lot of traders and investors. Factors like inflation, potential recession, and stagnation may have contributed to the free-fall, but some experts like Warren Buffet would argue that times like this are an opportunity for investment. My feeling of belonging is based on wherever I am now with myself.” Sampling cultures, land acknowledgments, & the somatic effects of culture shock with Magdalena Valderrama Rural resident, Co-Founder & Development Director of the Seigler Springs Community Redevelopment Association, and meditation community elder Magdalena Valderrama sits down with co-hosts Jen & Nani to share her diplomatic family's migration story from the Philippines to the U.S., and how her & her four siblings' different interpretations of their shared experience has translated into the diverse collection of identities they hold today.   In her story, she learns to overcome the initial waves of culture shock & grows a unique appreciation for New York's wide range of (specifically non-Filipino) hyphenated Americans, who she later realizes would play an essential role in teaching her about her own history as a Filipino American. The confrontations Magdalena has faced in learning her cultural history have pushed her into a lifelong practice of accepting herself as she is, over & over again. What's the difference between strategy and tactics? Actually, quite a lot, and many people are selling tactics in the guise of strategy. Even if you follow what they're selling to the smallest detail, a bad strategy is still a lousy strategy no matter how well it is executed. If you continually use poor strategy when it comes to your coaching practice, you will lose. As coaches, we often meet with clients and immediately start thinking about the techniques we can use to help them. But, if you don't have a destination and strategy on how to get there, it's not going to be helpful to the client long-term. Today, I share why coaches often focus on their tactics and techniques rather than on strategy. I reveal why it is so important to have an overall strategy in mind regarding clients and your coaching practice. I highlight the difference between tactics and strategy and why you need to choose your destination first before starting on a coaching journey with a prospect. I also share how you can apply strategies to your client sessions and develop successful strategies for your coaching business. “Bad strategy, even brilliantly executed, is still bad strategy.” - Jos Willard This week on Profit for Coaches: Why coaches often focus on techniques and tactics rather than strategy Why we need to look at an overall strategy for our clients The difference between strategy and tactics Why you need to choose your destination first How you can apply successful strategies for your clients The FREE eBook you can access today! We started off the conversation by reminiscing about pregnancy as well as reflecting on the heartbreak of miscarriage. We reviewed every stage of life from infant to toddler to school-age to adult. We discussed the choice of being a stay-at-home Mom and what that meant to Shari's family. We relived the bittersweet feelings of what it's like when your child grows up and moves away. We even talked about the dynamic of an adult mother-daughter relationship. As well as everything in between! Shari embodies such a faithful spirit. Her perspective offers a lens on Motherhood that is authentically heart-centered and full of unconditional love. From being present and cherishing every moment, to letting go, trusting, and surrendering, Shari reminds us that each stage of life, and being a Mother, is truly a precious gift. Through all of the laughs and all of the tears, this episode is an absolute treasure. We hope you enjoy!   Resources Mentioned: What to Expect When You're Expecting   And if you would like to connect with us... We received an unprecedented number of emails and messages about last week’s episode, my conversation with Barbara Huson about getting wired for wealth. So many of you were thanking us for that conversation and sharing your thoughts on aiming for wealth instead of riches.  One of the things that really stood out to me in that interview was Barbara’s dedication to her focus, to her zone of genius. She has spent three decades working with women on rewiring their mindsets for wealth. We talk a lot about niching down and nailing your message here, and to say she is an expert would be an understatement. Keep Reading >> I know so many of you were inspired by Barbara to achieve wealth in your own businesses. If that’s you, it’s time to stop dickering around doing all the things, serving all the people, and start focusing on just one thing. It’s time to have zone of genius discipline.  In today’s episode, I’m unpacking what it means to have zone of genius discipline and showing how Barbara’s body of work is a perfect example of the success that comes with specializing. There’s a tremendous temptation to be a generalist these days, but I invite you to imagine what your life would be like if you had the courage to dive deeper, niche down, and sink further into your zone of genius. Today on the Power + Presence + Position Podcast: How Barbara is making a massive impact by focusing on her zone of genius. Why it takes courage to let other things go so you can focus on your zone. The success you can have when you niche down consistently over time. Why becoming a generalist waters down your brand and power. This morning I'm in Dubai. I was here speaking yesterday for a global tax conference. And there was a phrase someone said to me yesterday, which was a great phrase in our in Arabic phrase, and it's really this idea of always keep focused on your numbers and your business. You know, mind your businesses is a phrase we sometimes hear. So the phrase was about restaurants. The best restaurant owner or manager is one with a broken leg. Because with a restaurant manager with a broken leg, yes, he she or she has to sit there, and they watch and they talk to their customers. And they observe and they give feedback. And and so many times, you know, in restaurants, people start really well. And then they can get bored and they go and focus on other things and maybe don't turn up quite as much. And you start to see the restaurant business go down. So it just kind of reminded me for myself. I've been on the road here for a couple of weeks. The week I was in Amman, Jordan here in Dubai. And it just reminded me to always just keep focused on the numbers be continued talking to clients talking to my team, really minding my business, and keeping an eye on the business and helping it grow. So my name is James Taylor. Thanks for watching. #SpeakersLife #ProfessionalSpeaking

You know what those two different things are speaking practice is really like a doctor's practice or a dentist practice is all about the individual expert, in this case, you as the speaker, so it's about building your personal brand. A speaking business, on the other hand, is something that can continue without you and can perhaps be sold on doesn't necessarily need your day to day involvement. So a lot of people say they're building a speaking business when really they're actually building a speaking practice. And there's nothing wrong with that. But the way that you build it is slightly different. If you're building a speaking practice is all about trying to get your hourly rate as high as possible. It's about trying to ensure you're building your personal brand, and its really ensuring that you're making the best possible use of your time. And speaking business, on the other hand, is about building systems, processes. A team, a corporate brand, obviously, they can go on the past be sold and can continue without you. Now there's nothing wrong with either of these options, they're both equally valid. But always be asking yourself what am I trying to build here? Am I trying to build a speaking business or speaking practice? #SpeakersLife #ProfessionalSpeaking

We discuss how the Royal Commission’s recommendations, which suggested banks to stop paying commissions for loan brokers, could impact the local economy.
