Here is a portion of our segment with Mentalist Oz Pearlman who was in studio blowing our minds with his mind reading abilities. Full segment will be up later when the full hour and full show are posted.
Avowed skeptic Eddie Scozzare admires the skill required to perform mentalist feats but is generally not impressed.
Mentalist Oz Pearlman is in the studio. He was the guy on Hard Knocks. He was amazing, naming Gio's grammar school crush and a random guy Gio played high school football with. C-Lo returns for an update but we really just talked about how amazing Oz was. Eddie wasn't impressed. C-Lo is back for an actual update and has a clip of Evan calling himself a loser. Stephen A. Smith gave us his Top 5 Sesame Street characters.
Hour 1 We made it through January, the first of the three ‘death months' according to Gio. Boomer will be back tomorrow from Vegas, so today it's Gio and Jerry. We talked about The Athletic article about the Jets that came out yesterday during the show. Assistant Jets GM Rex Hogan was let go yesterday which really makes it seem like they think he could be one of the leaks to the media. Sources in the article are calling Joe Douglas the ‘assistant GM' and Aaron Rodgers the actual GM of the team. Jerry said this is a ‘prove it' season for the Jets. C-Lo is here for his first update of the day but first Gio wonders if Al will have a good time at the actual Super Bowl game. Kevin Durant got a tribute video in his return to Brooklyn. The Knicks go for their ninth win tonight at MSG against the Pacers. Brandon Tierney said of Robert Saleh, ‘why is he still the coach?' Shaun Morash said, ‘this guy sucks'. In the final segment of the hour, new Panthers head coach Dave Canales wrote a book with his wife a few years back detailing his porn and alcohol addiction. Hour 2 We played some of the brand new Billy Joel song, ‘Turn The Lights Back On'. We continued talking about new Panthers head coach Dave Canales and his revelation that he was addicted to porn a few years ago. A psychologist calls to talk about porn addiction. Gio thinks OnlyFans is worse than porn because you are interacting with an actual person and getting them to do things you want. C-Lo returns for an update but first we talked about the bad bathroom situation at stadiums. A listener had previously sent Gio an apparatus to wear so you can urinate in a bag at games. In the final segment of the hour, a caller said we need to bring back troughs in bathrooms at sporting events to prevent lines. Hour 3 Mentalist Oz Pearlman is in the studio. Hour 4 People were giving Patrick Mahomes crap for having a ‘dad bod' in the video celebration in the locker room after the game. Gio would love to have Mahomes' body. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with Kevin Durant returning to Brooklyn. Larry David was on with Bill Simmons and wants to get rid of field goal kickers. He also doesn't understand why Simmons still watches wrestling. The Moment of The Day involves Aaron Boone having adopted children and Al not being able to handle an adopted dog. In the final segment of the hour, Gio wants Zach Gelb to ask some questions for us when he talks to players during Super Bowl week.
Jersey Jerry takes over the golf world with a Herculean effort to make a hole-in-one. The Tour is back in Maui where Dan is playing in the pro-am. Rory continues to evolve his comments on LIV. Kiz debuts as broadcaster. The Good Good videos are here. Is bed-making important? Can tooth infections cause heart attacks? This week, Jason is joined by entrepreneur, magician, and mentalist, Oz Pearlman! Although Oz took to magic at a young age, he took to Wall Street to begin his career before making the decision to move to magic and entertainment full time. Starting off by performing at restaurants, kid shows, and smaller events, Oz now performs over 150 dates per year in front of tens of thousands of people including a client list of politicians, professional athletes, A list celebrities and Fortune 500 companies around the world. On top of all of that, Oz has also championed himself to be an extremely successful long distance runner in marathons and ultra marathons. Oz has transitioned his love for magic and mentalism from a childhood hobby to a part time gig to a full blown business success. Oz gives insight to his definition of a mentalist, the importance of picking someone who will give the best reaction, what social skills he implements that can be applied in any situation, how he is able to keep is calm during television appearances, the power in note taking, how America's Got Talent was the launching point to his success, and how he caters his act to the audience. Oz also reveals the need to know the power dynamic, how hearing no is a good indicator that you are charging the right prices, how to get your foot in the door, the correlation between how much effort is put in and creating opportunities, and wraps up with a trick. Boomer & Gio are in the studio this morning after spending days at Giants and Jets camp. We may have put the maloik on Aaron Rodgers as he did not have a good day of practice after talking to us in the morning. Last night was episode 2 of Hard Knocks and there was a mentalist/magician guy there named Oz Pearlman who did a cool trick with Aaron Rodgers. Rob Saleh did rip into the offensive line in last night's episode for their poor performance in practice against the Panthers. The Colts and the Panthers have both named their rookie QBs as starters so they get all the first team reps. We also talked about the Jets adding Dalvin Cook and how that could elevate the entire RB room.

Jerry is here with his first update of the day and starts with audio from Rob Saleh from last night's Hard Knocks ripping into the offensive line. We also heard Joe Benigno's ‘how bout that' to the New York Jets' players at camp. Anthony Richardson talked about being named starting QB for the Colts. Gardner Minshew said he understands why Richardson was named starter. Al Michaels talked about having low energy for crappy games. The Yankees were shut out by the Braves and only managed 1-hit. Luis Severino had another bad outing, giving up a 3-run HR in the first. Jordan Montgomery had a good start for the Rangers. In the final segment of the hour, baseball is now dead in NY as the Yankees have hit .500 and will no doubt fall below soon. It's time now to shut Aaron Judge down instead of running him out there with that bad toe in meaningless games.

Hour 2: Gio is sick of Mets fans saying they ‘won 101 games last year' as some sort of defense of Steve Cohen. We took calls from furious Yankees fans. Boomer tells the story of his friend, Ziggy, who had a thumb reattached in order to hold a football better at Syracuse. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from last night's Hard Knocks. Quinnen Williams' money was the subject of conversation between Rob Saleh and Woody Johnson. Brandon Tierney accidently said ‘penis' instead of ‘peanuts' when discussing the paychecks in the Jets RB room. Daniel Jones talked about why he doesn't want to be on ‘Quarterback'. Marc Malusis is on vacation with his family and things seem to be going well. Jerry has audio from Moose. The Yankees were shut out by the Braves and only got one hit. The Dodgers keep winning out West. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the Jets offensive line and their struggles so far in camp and preseason games. Hour 3: Let's go through the list of Head Coaches most likely to be fired this season. A caller wants JPP back on the Giants. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from the mentalist that was on Hard Knocks with the Jets last night. Joe Benigno was with Evan at Jets camp and we played some of Joe's ‘how bout that'. Shaun Morash asked Rob Saleh about the crow and eagle analogy. Joe B is confused as you might guess. Gio as Joe B worried that China now has the Jets' plays now that Saleh is scrolling through TikTok. The Yankees got only 1-hit and were shutout by the Braves. Aaron Judge talked about being .500 in mid-August. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Aaron Rodgers not wanting to play around with us on the air. He was a tough nut to crack. Hour 4: Last night was episode 2 of Hard Knocks and we got to see Rob Saleh ripping into the offensive line. Gio was asking Boomer about who is calling the plays on the offense now for the Jets. Jerry returns for an update but first Eddie Scozzare calls us live from Iceland with his tour guide. This leads to a long impression of Gio as Eddie in Iceland. Jerry has audio from last night's Hard Knocks episode. It's a conversation between Rob Saleh and Quinnen Williams. ‘Our style was all over this bitch yesterday'- Saleh on the defense. He was not happy with the play of the offensive line. Williams became a star on last night's episode. Joe Benigno's ‘how bout that' to the Jets players during interviews from camp. In the final segment of the show, someone at The Big Lead thought Gio's impression of Joe Benigno was really Joe and he thought the Chinese were getting all of the Jets plays because Rob Saleh scrolls TikTok.

We finish with BFFs corner where we figure out whether Bri is a crazy girlfriend for thinking her boyfriend's neighbor is hitting on him, and when the release of the BFFs merch that people have been clamoring for is coming.
