In this powerful conversation, I sit down with Gero Leson, an accomplished physicist and environmental scientist who has worked for some of the biggest companies in the world and then met David Bronner, CEO of Dr Bronner's. David implored him to join Dr Bronner's in the early 2000's, on a mission to build an ethical supply chain of the highest standards. We explore how one of the world's most values-led companies approaches transparency, cross-cultural leadership and business ethics in practice - not just in marketing.Gero shares how Dr Bronner's moved beyond buying ingredients on the open market, moved beyond labels and just ‘trusting it was fine because it sounds good'. They've built companies that farm and produce the raw materials that they use for their famous soaps and other products, as well as selling the raw materials to other brands seeking a fully transparent and ethical, regenerative supply chain. They've done this in Sri Lanka, Ghana, India and beyond. From creating fair-trade supply chains where none had existed to the standard they wanted to uphold, to investing in regenerative agroforestry, community education and healthcare. Gerónimo Rulli: "Estamos muy contentos, porque era un mes o eran 20 días que podían marcar nuestra temporada para bien o para mal. Creo que el equipo se está conociendo cada vez más. Llegaron nuevos jugadores que nos dieron un salto de calidad importante. Estamos muy contentos por cómo estámos, cómo afrontamos estos partidos, estos cinco partidos que fueron muy duros. Ahora Cada cual con su selección y los que quedan en el club, a entrenar, porque a la vuelta tenemos otra vez partidos muy importantes".  RFI: Se habla mucho de ese momento que tuvisteis cuando perdisteis con el Real Madrid en la Champions, pero que pudisteis haber arañado un punto al menos, como un momento de cambio en la dinámica del equipo. ¿Lo ves así o simplemente es algo que coincidió?, porque a partir de ahí son todo victorias. Llegasteis a ganar al PSG.  Gerónimo Rulli: "No. El partido contra el Real Madrid fue consecuencia de lo que veníamos haciendo y veníamos trabajando. Creo que más que nada en España no se mira tanto quizás esta liga, no se tiene tanto en consideración lo que venimos haciendo y sorprendimos quizás a más de uno.   Después fue una lástima el resultado, fue una lástima ese último penal, que sigue siendo medio polémico, pero más allá de eso, nosotros seguimos por el mismo camino, seguimos entrenando y trabajando de la misma manera y los resultados están a la vista".  RFI: Son ya 13 años sin títulos en Marsella. ¿Tienes la sensación de que este año puede ser en el que rompáis la racha y luchéis por cosas importantes tanto en Francia como en Europa?  Gerónimo Rulli: "Está claro que nuestro objetivo siempre es apuntar a lo máximo. Todavía es muy pronto para hablar de campeonato, para hablar de cualquier cosa.   Creo que estamos en el camino correcto. Sabemos que esto no es un sprint, sino que es una maratón y tenemos que hacerlo durante todo el año.   La verdad que tenemos confianza en nosotros, podemos competir a cualquier equipo de igual a igual, ya lo demostramos en estos partidos. Afrontaremos cada competición con la misma ilusión, la ilusión de ganar, y veremos en mayo hasta donde llegaremos".  RFI: ¿No le pones ningún techo a este Olympique de Marsella?  Gerónimo Rulli: "No, porque creo que tenemos muchísimo margen de mejora. Tenemos muchísimo camino para mejorar. Somos un equipo muy joven también, con jugadores que tienen muchísimo margen de progresión. Esperemos que esto sea un comienzo de algo muy lindo".  RFI: Hablando ya de Argentina, se acerca el mundial y sois los campeones del mundo. ¿Tenéis la motivación para repetir título?  Gerónimo Rulli: "Está claro que es nuestro objetivo. Como selección siempre aspiramos a lo máximo. Siempre queremos competir a nuestro máximo nivel. Somos los últimos campeones y todos los países nos quieren ganar. No va a ser la excepción, nunca es la excepción y el Mundial no va a ser la excepción tampoco.   Queda tiempo todavía para el Mundial. Todavía tenemos partidos para prepararnos. Tenemos la Finalísima también con España en marzo. Primeros estos dos partidos ahora con la selección, seguir sumando minutos entre nosotros y seguir ganando y compitiendo en el máximo nivel".
