The Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch-created series first debuted on Netflix in 2017, and quickly had viewers falling in love with its electric ensemble packed with a wide array of big personalities.Alison Brie's Ruth Wilder is a struggling actor who scores a rather unusual opportunity. In 1985, Ruth is cast in the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. It's a show that's the first of its kind — a wrestling television show featuring all female wrestlers. Ruth and the rest of the cast, including Betty Gilpin's Debbie, Gayle Rankin's Sheila, Jackie Tohn's Melrose, and Sydelle Noel's Cherry, take their underdog wrestling production on an epic roller coaster ride that lands them in Las Vegas, performing GLOW matches live. Season 3 ends with a glimmer of hope for getting GLOW back on television, but we never got to see if Debbie and Bash's (Chris Lowell) plan panned out because Netflix canceled GLOW in October 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, despite having renewed it for a fourth and final season.Not only are fans still thinking about GLOW seven years after it wrapped its run, but so are the show's stars, like Alison Brie.
