The Waypoint- Introducing Our New Life And Health Coaching Programs

In this episode, we announce some exciting projects that we’re launching. We’ve listened to our community and have come up with new opportunities and services to better help your health journey. True Detox is part of the Microbes Formula family. Our goal is to increase our reach and the ways we are helping our community. We’ve been working with some amazing practitioners and will continue to do so but we’ve also seen that there is more work to be done.With that said, we’re in the midst of creating a coaching program from Microbe Formulas that will assist you on your personal journeys. The first one is a health coaching program that's going to be led by Dr. Jess. She is an amazing MD that is joining the family to help us build a health coaching program that works for you in a way that is absolutely unbelievable. Its focus is to help you through the challenges and struggles and changes that occur as you detox.Next is our life coaching program that is led by Sarah Fisk. Sometimes we get in our own way when we’re in the process of detoxing with Sarah’s help our aim is to keep you clear on your goals and overcome some of the challenges you may be facing. And finally, our third program is a personal coach. We are working on a new program that anybody out there can become a true detox coach. Your role is a cheerleader, a guide, and an advocate because there are people out there that just need to know that there's somebody there for them as a guide.We’re so excited to bring forth these new programs and are eager to watch the wonderful and positive changes it will bring to our community. In this episode, we are excited to have Dr. Kayte Susse share her experience with breast implants and the detoxification process she went through after her breast implants were removed. Dr. Kayte is a functional health expert who works closely with patients to optimize their health. She specializes in supporting hormonal imbalance, nutrition, and epigenetics. Dr. Kayte Susse grew up as one of the only female wrestlers in her highschool. Her wrestling background gave her a tremendous advantage in dealing with her own breast implant illness experience. She was able to identify the abnormal pain she felt even when doctors tried to rule out the obvious pain she was dealing with.She decided to enroll in medical school to find the source of her illness. Understanding Misdirected Immune Responses With Dr. Jaban Moore

In this episode, Dr. Jaban Moore helps us understand misdirected immune responses. He breaks down the relatively new diagnosis Pans/Panda; an immune reaction that creates inflammation in the brain.Dr. Moore talks about his personal experience with lyme disease and how it motivated him to research chronic illnesses and how it influenced his practice. His concentration with children started after he treated a child with autism who had clear cognitive improvements. Dr. Moore discusses a new diagnosis that impacts 1 in every 200 children that sometimes goes unnoticed. The Panda (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections) occurs when strep triggers a misdirected immune response and results in inflammation on a child’s brain. This causes personality changes such as anxiety, depression and OCD. PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome) will result in the same cognitive reactions, but is triggered by environmental factors or other possible triggers.He discusses treatments available and success stories in this episode of True Detox. Glyphosate has been a concern for quite a while. Numerous studies and research has been done investigating its effects on the human body. Unfortunately, it still continues to be used as a pesticide in growing crops despite the concerns.Our two guests, give us their first-hand experience of what they are seeing in the clinic and among young people suffering from unexplainable injuries. When we connect the dots, we can clearly see there is a relationship between glyphosate and some of the injuries and conditions that are affecting many people. Our ligaments, tendons, cartilage, and even a large part of the bone, is made of collagen. Glyphosate affects the strength of the collagen by substituting a critical amino acid. What Your Doctor Doesn't Know About Lab Work

Did you know that your lab results have a story to tell? This is the third installment of six episodes that talk about viruses and retroviruses where Dr. Jay Davidson is allowing us to rebroadcast this exclusive content from his Viruses and Retroviruses Summit. In this episode we’ll get to hear from a real expert, Dr. Todd Watts, on what traditional doctors often misinterpret out of our lab tests and how this affects our chances of getting the right treatment in the face of a chronic infection, detoxing our bodies, or even starting a new diet.    Dr. Todd Watts is somewhat of an anomaly in the Functional Medicine space because most Functional Medicine doctors either run kinesiology or lab studies. Dr. Watts runs both and leverages the results to help paint a complete picture of what’s really going on.For him, to tell the story of someone, especially someone with chronic illness, a comprehensive blood panel is a must. But it’s not just one panel, you really need multiple over a period of time to see what’s shifting and the direction of that shift. Most doctors are looking at high markers but Dr. Watts recommends that you should also be looking at markers that are shifting downwards as well.Combining Functional Medicine laboratory testing and kinesiology energetic testing, allows Dr. Watts to identify things such as chronic infection if it doesn’t show up on lab work.The two shifted the conversation to energy. Not necessarily the kind of energy that gets you out of bed excited in the morning, but cellular energy (ATP). And as you’ll hear Dr. Watts explain, you can’t have one without the other.  As we know, diet ties in heavily to the energy we have day-to-day and the two talked about the ultra-popular keto diet. Dr. Watts likes the diet for short term but isn’t a proponent of long-term sustained intake of any one particular diet because you miss out on crucial nutrients. When people do come to him asking to move to a keto diet, the first thing he does is look at the blood work. In particular, he’s looking at LDH levels to see if the diet could be a good fit for them.
