These 5 colon issues and gut problems can wreak havoc on your skin's health!1. An altered microbiome means your gut contains more bad bacteria than healthy gut microbes. It's often caused by diet or antibiotics. An altered gut microbiome can cause inflammation that can become systemic, leading to rosacea. 2. SIBO is a condition where gut microbes are in the wrong place. Most microbes should be in the large intestine, not the small intestine. SIBO can lead to nutritional deficiencies, inflammation, arthritis, and rosacea. 3. Gut inflammation symptoms include pain, tightness, or bloating. Gut inflammation is typically caused by diet, with gluten being one of the most common culprits. The more gut inflammation you have, the less you can absorb zinc. Zinc deficiencies are one of the most common causes of skin rashes. The carnivore diet is very beneficial for people with gut inflammation.4. If you have chronic gut inflammation, you may lose your gut villi over time. This can diminish nutrient absorption, especially the absorption of vitamin D. Many autoimmune skin issues are directly related to low vitamin D. You can increase vitamin D with supplements, sun exposure, and certain types of light therapy.5. If you've had your gallbladder removed or you have low bile, you may develop skin issues. Without enough bile, you won't be able to break down and digest the fat-soluble vitamins, especially vitamin A. To increase vitamin A, consume beef liver or cod liver oil. Ox bile, purified bile salts, or TUDCA can help if you have a sluggish gallbladder or have had your gallbladder removed. To improve gut and skin health, take a good probiotic and consume fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, raw milk cheese, yogurt, and raw salad from the garden. The carnivore diet can significantly improve gut health, reduce skin issues, and improve autoimmune conditions. If you have SIBO, do intermittent fasting and OMAD. Try acidifying the stomach with betaine hydrochloride or apple cider vinegar. You can make your own L. reuteri probiotic mixture to improve your gut and skin health significantly. L. reuteri can live in the small and large intestine and has multiple benefits, including improved digestion and the improvement of skin issues like acne.

Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend! I'm looking forward to sharing with you some of our community's questions that have come in over the past few weeks… Carlos: Hello Dr Cabral, You have changed my wife and I's life over the past year! Real quick question, my wife found out she has an 8mm simple cyst located at the pancreatic head. It does not bother my wife and she has zero pain. We are wondering how we could go about getting it removed/shrunken? Would you recommend the 21 day detox or a cleanse of some sort? Thank you for taking the time every week to answer questions. Alberto: I am 71 and was diagnosed with BPH. My PSA is low and testosterone levels are in range for my age. The urologist mention that it's very large and no treatment at this stage except surgery. I was referred to have an MRI. Any natural solution to improve my situation. I am not diabetic, have normal blood pressure and weight. Follow a low carb diet, intermittent fasting 5 days a week and 3 days fast once a month. I am Very confused about the right amount of animal protein intake in this situation? I take supplements regularly. Add red Maca, moringa and turmeric extract, pomegranate to my shake. Any recommendations please. Thanks. Jessica: I no longer have my gallbladder, adenoids, tonsils, or appendix. Three kids later and I am suffering. I am struggling to detox, and absorb my food, or get enough healthy fats and fat soluable vitamins in my diet. I take TUDCA, Bile Salts, digestive enzymes, and binders and do coffee enemas. Do you have any resources for me that could support me, while also following relatively close protocols as your own? Zach: Hello Dr. Cabral, I am a 26 year old male that works out and is quite healthy, Ive been using testosterone, hcg, dhea for my HRT, for the past 2 years and 9 months. My total T before starting treatment was 550 so I was never hypogonadal and I very impulsively hopped on testosterone. I want to quit due to the side effects, hair loss, libido fluctuations, etc, and to see if I can produce my natural high levels again. In your experience what are my odds that my body will be able to recover its natural production and that I can regrow my hair? By the way Ive been working with an ihp for a year now and am much healthier! Thank you sir! Zach Byran: Hi Dr Cabral. I have gut issues and have a rainbow of symptoms. The most debilitating one is gut pain around the mid-lower right side of my large intestine(?). Often, it's at it WORST in the AM and causes me to wake up around 4-5. After being awake for 1.5 hours, I fall back to sleep. Was told its my appendix and almost had it removed in '22-'23. Doctors I've met with recently said if it were my appendix, it would hurt more. Been diagnosed with hiatal hernia, LPR, IBS, slow gut motility, stool burden, diverticulosis etc. To cut a long story short, not looking for a diagnosis, just wondering if you've seen this in your practice. Namely, early morning gut discomfort on the right side (colon?) which often subsides as the morning progresses or is relieved via bowel movements. Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest types of cancer. It's known as the “silent killer” because, by the time you know you have it, it's often too late. Pay attention to these 7 early warning signs of pancreatic cancer.1. Sudden unexpected weight lossA problem with the pancreas can affect digestion and appetite, which can cause you to lose weight unexpectedly. 2. Abdominal painThis is typically dull, persistent pain that can radiate to the left shoulder. Sometimes, it shows up as radiating pain in the belly button that extends into the spine and often feels worse after eating. 3. Jaundice This is characterized by yellowing of the whites of the eyes and rust-colored urine caused by bile backing up into the blood. TUDCA can be a good remedy for this! Take two on an empty stomach twice a day to open the bile ducts. 4. Chronic diarrhea Most pancreatic cancer affects the part of the pancreas that is responsible for digestive enzymes, which can often lead to chronic diarrhea. 5. Diabetes A tumor in the pancreas can disrupt the cells that produce insulin, contributing to diabetes. 6. Feeling full quickly Pancreatic cancer can cause you to feel full and bloated even If you've hardly had anything to eat.7. Persistent fatigue This can be described as overwhelming, chronic fatigue that doesn't improve with more sleep.Don't consume sugar if you have pancreatic cancer!Risk factors for pancreatic cancer include the following:•Smoking tobacco •Type 2 diabetes •Obesity •Alcohol consumption•Genetic factors•Vitamin D deficiency Vitamin D may help shrink cancer and enhance the immune system's ability to fight cancer. To help prevent pancreatic cancer:•Ensure you're getting enough sleep •Reduce stress•Exercise •Practice intermittent fasting Incorporating anti-cancer foods such as cruciferous vegetables, green tea, garlic, and berberine may help. Digestion starts in the mouth, where food is broken down and then transferred to the stomach. The highly acidic stomach acid aids in protein digestion. The valve at the top of the stomach plays a vital role in keeping food in the stomach and preventing it from backing up into the esophagus. Many people think antacids are the solution to acid reflux or heartburn. Diluting stomach acid worsens this problem by inhibiting this valve from closing tightly. If you have acid reflux, you want to increase the acidity of your stomach. Diluted apple cider vinegar and betaine hydrochloride are effective remedies for this problem. Ninety percent of all digestion occurs in the small intestine. This is also the location of a leaky gut. Grains, gluten, junk food, refined sugar, and seed oils can cause a leaky gut.The liver makes bile, which is stored and concentrated in the gallbladder. Bile helps break down fats, extract nutrients from fats, and kill pathogens. Bile deficiency symptoms include bloating, burping, vision problems, and gallstones. Bile salts such as TUDCA can help digestion by breaking down cholesterol. Microbes break down food in the large intestine through fermentation. These microbes comprise 80% of your immune system and help make neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. After your food travels through this intricate assembly line, it becomes stool. Your stool is mostly water and gets its pigment from your red blood cells. The smell is caused by gas from bacteria. Constipation and diarrhea are usually related to missing microbes. Antibiotics and chemicals like glyphosate can deplete microbes. Fermented foods and the L. reuteri microbe are great ways to increase microbes and improve digestion naturally. Intermittent fasting can also significantly improve digestion. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio:Dr. Berg, age 59, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. How can you distinguish between actual health hacks and fake health trends? In this podcast, I'm going to tell you about ten health hacks that don't work and often cause more harm than good. Avoid these health hacks to save your health and your wallet! 1. Ear candling This treatment has been debunked by a doctor of audiology! There is absolutely no difference in ear wax before and after ear candling. 2. Gallbladder flush This almost killed me! A gallbladder flush involves drinking 12 ounces of olive oil followed by beet tablets to eliminate gallstones. This really eliminates bile, causing you to become deficient. TUDCA is a much better remedy to help prevent and eliminate gallstones and bile sludge. 3. The master cleanse This cleanse combines lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup, which won't cleanse your body but will mess with your blood sugar. 4. Foot detox pads You can not pull toxins and heavy metals out of your feet as there are no detox pathways through the skin. 5. Foot detox bath Similar to foot detox pads, a chemical reaction changes the water's color during a foot detox bath, leading you to believe it's pulling toxins out of your body. 6. Ab belts Stimulating the stomach muscles or sweating will not remove fat from your midsection. Visceral fat must be removed through diet and exercise. 7. The blood type diet This diet is not supported by credible research. Blood types relate more to an immune difference rather than a digestive difference. 8. EMF blockers A sticker on your cell phone can not block the EMF radiation it omits. 9. Carb blockers Carb blockers contain an extract that can inhibit the digestion of a minimal amount of starch, not sugar. You would need to take several bottles to inhibit the digestion of the starch from one donut. 10. Today, we're going to talk about parasites in the body. Here are some of the common symptoms of parasites: 1. Fatigue 2. Rash 3. Unexpected weight loss 4. Bloating 5. Teeth grinding 6. Itching 7. Anxiety Parasites and pathogens force us to become stronger. They strengthen our immune systems to protect us from future parasitic infections. While this can be beneficial, parasites are constantly evolving and competing for resources in the body. In an attempt to evade your immune system, parasites downgrade your ability to absorb vitamin D. Vitamin D supports the T cells, which control and coordinate the immune system. Parasites even try to change the behavior of the host. For example, toxoplasma gondii causes a mouse to become more fearless, making it more likely to be eaten by a cat. Parasites can also lie dormant for years and wait until you're older, stressed, or have a weakened immune system to emerge, so they have a better chance at survival. Some microorganisms can become parasitic if the environment changes in your body. E. coli is friendly in the large intestine but parasitic in the small intestine. Most ulcers come from H. pylori. This bacteria releases a substance that alkalizes the stomach because it can't survive in an acidic environment. Parasites can come from many places, including inhalation and pets. Antibiotics can greatly increase your risk of parasitic infection. Refined sugar and junk foods can feed parasites. TUDCA is a bile salt that supports the flow of bile through the bile ducts. Try taking TUDCA for two days before attempting a natural cleanse for parasites. Here are some of the best natural remedies for parasites to help purge and kill parasites directly and indirectly: •Wormwood extract •Clove •Black walnut extract •Garlic •Oregano oil •Pumpkin seeds •Fermented vegetables •Kefir To support the immune system during a parasitic infection, you may need at least 20,000 IU of vitamin D daily. Take it with magnesium and zinc.
