Influenced by house, pop-punk and pop, he wants to create a sound that is both catchy and uplifting. He discovered drum & bass at a very young age, but it was during the famous Dour festival in Belgium that he became passionate about this musical genre. In 2019, he decided to start production and created “Dim Bolt”, in reference to the character of “Dud Bolt” from Star Wars. After his first releases on DnBFrance, High Tea and as an independent, he is now ready to reveal his future creations, on the border between “liquid” and ”dancefloor”. --- Originaire de Toulouse, Dim Bolt est un dj/producteur de drum & bass. 2nd time around with The Bass Cook in the mix for LS!! - Like the mix? Click the [↻ Repost] button! The Bass Cook is a DJ based in Toulouse for several years. Soon after his arrival in The Pink City, he founded the Sagouins Crew in association with a bunch of friends, which is active for 5 years now, and started to learn mixing. He quickly moved towards Drum'n'Bass sets and more particularly neurofunk and delivered technical and powerful sets that allowed him to play on many stages in the city. Over time, he opened up more and more to other Drum'n'Bass subgenres began to build gradually more dancefloor then liquid oriented sets that he played in different afterworks of the region. --- The Bass Cook est un DJ basé à Toulouse depuis plusieurs années. Peu après son arrivée dans La Ville Rose, il fonde avec un groupe d'ami l'association Sagouins Crew, active depuis maintenant 5 ans, et commence à se lancer dans le mix. He started mixing around 2010 while playing in different clubs around Freiburg and soon became known for his diverse drum and bass and dubstep mixes. In 2012, Dava first started out producing dubstep. After a couple of years, he developed an obsession with funky, soulful and deep drum and bass, which he's been pursuing ever since. Soon after his arrival in The Pink City, he founded the Sagouins Crew in association with a bunch of friends, which is active for 5 years now, and started to learn mixing. He quickly moved towards Drum'n'Bass sets and more particularly neurofunk and delivered technical and powerful sets that allowed him to play on many stages in the city. Born in Mexico but living in Barcelona since late 2015, Chawer quickly blended into the local scene and became an active member of the Drum and Bass nights in the city collaborating with most of the active crews. His particular style, genre-versatility, technique and selection has landed him gigs across Europe, sharing stages with names like Digital, Maztek, Kiril, Audio, Sam Binga, DJ Hybrid and many more. In 2016 he joins True Color Records, label established in Barcelona by 7th Sense where he has been releasing tracks like Out of Control, collaboration with Belarusian producer Orca, that earned them a 9.4 grade on the DNB Reviews of DJ Mag Spain in 2019. In 2017, he co-creates the Subconscious collective, a platform to record podcasts, video streaming and regular DNB parties, which has been growing exponentially. Il découvre la DNB il y a 5 ans et en explore plusieurs facettes(jazz, deep, neuro). En 2016 il achète ses premieres platines et se lance dans le mix, puis se met à la prod en 2018.
