Mr. Schenk is a Canadian born entrepreneur and investor with a proven track record of success within the transportation technology sector. He has previously developed and sold two telematics companies; Telkar based in Canada and Elcon based in Europe. In 2010 Schenk joined XATA following the acquisition of Turnpike Global and Geologic. Mr. Schenk was tasked with merging three distinct businesses into a single entity and solution which once complete lead to the rebranding of the company to XRS (NASDAQ; XRSC). XRS was sold to Omnitracs in 2014 for $178M. Schenk recognized the opportunity to shift many of the IoT (Internet of things) learnings such as data analytics, machine learning and predictive modeling to the Social and Content Marketing sector.In 2017 Schenk entered the payments industry where he formed several new ventures including a freight factoring alternative, BNK which pays truck drivers based on achieving route defined milestones and IPTS a recreation & hospitality employee same day pay solution that enables employees to get paid daily vs waiting till payday. Schenk holds several board seats in the rideshare, supply chain and mobile technology industries. Previously, he formed one of the largest networks of professional truck drivers, ONE20 which was sold in mid 2017. ONE20 offered routing, navigation and social intelligence to its more than 700,000 members and monetized by selling content and advertising based on personal personas, relevance and location.

They are tough and tenacious, and Boomers are entitled, feeling like they worked for a long time and therefore earned or deserve leadership roles.  Boomers say Millennials only want to have fun now, they don’t have tenacity or grit, they don’t have big goals, and Millennials are entitled, feeling like they should be given responsibility right from the start. There will always be a tension between those with experience and the wisdom gained over time and those with fresh eyes who aren’t beholden to any past experience.  Just putting people of different generations on team or in an office does not make for an intergenerational workplace.  Learning how to collaborate with and learn from people of every generation is a critical skill.  The responsibility of every generation is to hold on to what is good, let go of what isn't, and plan the seeds for a better future so that other generations will thrive. Contributor: Nick Hatch, MD Educational Pearls: An AC (acromioclavicular joint) separation in the shoulder is a common traumatic injury XRs can help rule out other injuries as well as help with grading the injury There are six different grades for AC separations: Grade I: is stretching of the AC ligament without disruption or displacement of the clavicle and recovers with time. Grade II:  is partial tearing of the AC ligament with some displacement but will also heal with time. Grade III: is a full separation with ligament rupture and may require surgery but is not always indicated. Surgery is more common in active patients. Grades IV, V, and VI are severe separations and all require surgery. Other ligament damage or tears, like a slap injury, can mimic an AC separation and often require surgery but should remain on the differential diagnosis when working up shoulder trauma. Setting expectations is key. Patients with a grade 1 or 2 separation should expect 6+ weeks of limited range of motion and up to 12 weeks until return to full function. Tiffany Winter may have made her television debut on VH1’s “Black Ink Crew” but she is certainly no stranger to the business of media. She has an identity that goes far beyond that of being “Ceaser’s sister” and has been cultivating her own brand over the course of the past six years. Prior to her arrival at the shop she honed her business skills working for financial institutions such as JP Morgan Chase (formerly Washington Mutual, Inc.), KeyBank and HSBC. Over the course of the past six years Tiffany has managed to work as a model for MMG on such hair product brands as Paul Mitchell, Sexy Hair, Revlon and L’Oreal. . In addition to this work she has participated in music videos for the likes of Jim Jones, Mysone, Ox P, Paypa and Sky Profit prior to her arrival on the reality television circuit. However, she has begun to make more waves in the media world writing, producing and directing not only music videos but short films as well. Tiffany founded her media production arm Wrap Report, LLC. in 2013 and hit the ground running immediately. Since the inception of the company Winter has either written, produced or directed videos for XRS, Elliot Luv, Teedra Moses, Uncle Murda, Jadakiss, Thaddeus Dixon, Jack Thriller and the Grammy Award Winning M-PE$O (better known as Mahogany Beatz just to name a select few. Yet the surface has not been fully scratched as to what else she can do. In addition to her professional endeavors Tiffany tours around the country as a motivational speaker to those who live with disabilities and diseases ranging from Multiple sclerosis (which she was diagnosed with in 2008) to HIV/AIDS.

Breathless patients are a challenge in the ED. Shortness of breath can be a frightening presenting complaint for both patients and doctors. As always, think about the possible life threatening causes and actively rule them out. For breathless patients think especially about: Pneumonia Asthma/COPD Pulmonary Embolism Acute left ventricular failure Pneumothorax   Breathless Patients PodcastIn this podcast Iain and Simon discuss their approach to breathless patients in the ED which we hope will provide you with a good starting point.  For those of you who are more visual learners here is the video recorded a few years ago for SEMEP featuring our very own Iain Beardsell. http://vimeo.com/35310564   Take Home PointsOxygen should be used in the patient with shortness of breath and the patient monitored closely. Hypoxia kills Always rule out life threatening causes first These patients are sick - do not be afraid to ask advice from a senior colleague early Look for clues - you don't have to wait until the penultimate page of the story to solve the mystery. What have you learned about breathless patients? Oxygen - or no oxygen?? Oxygen administration is rarely a problem in the immediate and acute setting - and can save lives. So yes, when you first approach a patient who is short of breath, get that oxygen on while you make your assessment then think about the finer points of respiratory failure afterwards.  Where do I begin? A focused history, including asking the patient about previous conditions and whether they know what's going on! And then - initial assessment and examination including vital signs (especially respiratory rate), looking for clues as to the underlying cause of their breathlessness, remembering the five common causes.  What treatments might be useful? A small fluid bolus might help and carries relatively little risk; think about the need for nebulised bronchodilators for patients with asthma or COPD, and remember that antibiotics given early to patients with sepsis save lives. If the patient has pain we should definitely treat that too. Which investigations might help me find out more? A chest x-ray is often useful in patients who are short of breath; your ED seniors might be able to use bedside ultrasound to further ascertain the underlying pathology, so get help early! ECGs are often useful in these patients Blood gases can also provide lots of useful information - think carefully about whether you need arterial gases and if so, please use local anaesthetic. If nothing makes sense - get a blood sugar, remembering that metabolic disease may cause an acidosis, presenting with an increased respiratory rate (although not often true dyspnoea). And GET SENIOR HELP (including getting your seniors to assess you for those all-important workplace-based assessments; definitely start those early) Other resourcesChest RadiographsOne of the key investigations in patients with shortness of breath is the humble chest radiograph. There are some phenomenal FOAM resources for interpretation of CXRs (along with other XRs) at Radiology Masterclass. Well worth bookmarking for your ED shifts (but do ask a senior if you're unsure). A true veteran DJ, producer and engineer, A Sides has an epic collection of releases to his name making him one of the most prolific and versatile artists in drum & bass. Over the course of his extensive career, A Sides has never limited himself to a single style and has proved to be a highly capable selector whatever style he is drawing for. He established his own label Eastside Records in 1996 and has since put out over 85 releases, including two compilation albums (Eastside Jamz Volumes 1 & 2) as well as A Sides solo albums "Follow The Groove" "Worldwide" "Mysterious Vibes" and the most recent album album "Based Upon Bass"A Sides has also recently added a digital arm to Eastside Records and made the entire back-catalogue available for mp3 download from digital store Beatport. For most of 2013 he has been the figurehead behind a fundraising album for his good friend MC Fats who has been suffering with health problems. He has managed to compile the We Gotcha album project boasting 40 tracks from many high profile artists.Other projects set for 2014 are a new A Sides solo album and also a joint collaboration album with Japanese producer Makoto. Hailing from the sunny land of Kazakhstan musician and producer Alexey Fuifanov, now based in Saint Petersburg, better known as Command Strange has already become a household name for all lovers of musical side of drum and bass. Having got acquainted with jungle in the tender age of 7 it didn’t take a while for him to get into production. Developing and improving his sound and being only 16 years old Command Strange released his first tunes. Sweet melodic productions full of positive vibes equipped by beautiful soul, jazzy and funky samples quickly gained support from scene’s heavyweights like LTJ Bukem, Marky, Goldie, Bryan G, JJ Frost, A Sides, Hype, Fabio & Grooverider, Crissy Criss, Friction, Artificial Intelligence, Netsky, EZ Rollers, Bailey and others with regular airplay on BBC RADIO 1 and across plenty of web radio stations. After successful singles on Have-A-Break and Fokuz in the beginning of 2010 Command Strange unsurprisingly has been offered an album deal for Fokuz. In November 2010 «Soul Booster» LP described by Kmag as «some of the lushest beats you can imagine» saw a light of the day. Alexey continues to experiment with his sound, somewhat deviating from the usual tasty liquid funk grooves and bringing his vision of jump up, techy and new school areas that can already be seen in the published in late 2011 second solo album "Episode 91" on the same Fokuz Recordings and vinyl singles on Grid and Integral Records. 2012-2013 saw Command Strange changing a focus and broadening a spectrum of his production even more into tight new school beats with rough and nasty basslines. Releases on Horizons, Integral and V Records including a massive achievement in a form of dirty deep roller written with Artificial Intelligence for Metalheadz Platinum cemented Command Strange's position as one of the most promising and versatile producers on the scene. Currently, being only 22 years old, Alexey has over 100 released tracks under his belt including more than 35 vinyl releases.
