We start the hour with David talking to FPS National Events Director Matt Jungmann about the details for those coming to the show and how to see everything there. He talks with Big Equipment Co. owner Ron Harmon about the production of the new Big Bud. Ryan Bales from Titan Tire joins David as well with a look at what's going on at booth 933. Brian Hoops from Midwest Market Solutions explains why corn and soybeans are still moving a bit lower despite decreases in crop conditions in yesterday's report.

Scott Sloan with Titan Tire is with us to start the hour live from the Farm Progress Show sitting in front of Big Bud and tells us about their FPS display at booth #933! ISU Extension Field Agronomist Virgil Schmidt gives us some comments on the condition of crops along the Eastern edge of Iowa. The majestic horses known as the Budweiser Clydesdales will be one of the major attractions as part of the return of Kewanee Hog Days. Mark Mikenas from the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce made the announcement on Friday and joined WKEI's Wake Up Tri-Counties on Monday to start spreading the word regarding these incredible horses. The Budweiser Clydesdales will bring their carriage to the Kewanee Hog Days Parade Labor Day weekend. It's the first time that the Clydesdales have come to Kewanee after nearly two decades of Mark Mikenas chasing after them to get them to come to Kewanee for the Hog Days Parade. The Clydesdales will only be in Kewanee to participate in the Parade though their may be some time for them the day of leading up to the parade but that is not currently on the schedule. Mark Mikenas spoke to WKEI this morning on Speak Up Tri-Counties to welcome the Budweiser Clydesdales.

Tidal AKA Wayne Hay, has been producing since 1998 and DJing since 2000. He also runs one of the few Atmospheric / Progressive Drum 'n' Bass left called 'Advection Music', Tidal also features on LTJ Bukems's Good Looking Records, and has also played at.. Born in Birmingham (UK) Tidal Aka Wayne, has always been into music since an early age. Some of his early musical memories come from many genre's including Reggae, Electro, Hip-Hop, Soul & Electronica. It was through his older brother, how he got exposed to fresh music growing up. 1995 was a pivotal year for Tidal, this was when he first got introduced to the sounds of LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad. Through listening to a lot of tunes, from various mix albums like Promised Land & Logical Progression, he decided to venture into production in 1998, and then later progressed into Djing back in 2000. Since his first demo, Tidal has received interest over the years from labels like Covert Operations, Inperspective and International labels like Testflight (D.C), Warm Communications (Texas), Offshore Recordings (NYC) and Camino Blue (Germany). In 2008 Tidal’s track ‘Impressions’ which had been played out amongst the Birmingham based Central Projection Crew, later got signed to Good Looking Records, which was released in 2009. Since his debut release on Good Looking Records, Tidal's 'Impressions' has done the rounds worldwide, with DJ Support from the likes of Fabio (BBC Radio 1), Big Bud, DJ Marky (Innerground) and Makoto (Japan). The track was also featured on Fabric Live (46) Mixed by LTJ Bukem. Tidal continues to push the deeper side of drum and bass with the Advection and Odyssey Collective. Tracklist 01. sometimes you have to go back to your roots... I grew up listening to a wide variety of music. But for a long time I was entranced with the world of the mellower style of drum n bass, or so called "Intelligent Jungle". LTJ Bukem became my hero along with his Good Looking Records artists such as (at the time) Blame, Seba, Intense, Big Bud and more. With a Style different from the dark brooding, bass heavy sounds of the traditional drum n bass, this style incorporated more jazz, ambient, and not-so-hard textures over crisp, lush, complex beats. So this is a tribute to a style I don't hear so much anymore.
