Does it feel as though the stability of our nation is unraveling? Professor Dorothy Logan would agree. A Political Science professor for two decades, foreign policy analyst, voice for congressional and court testimony, and an author, Logan founded the Freedom Academy where she unravels how America came to give up its freedoms, trading individual responsibility for collective blame, and independence for dependence. “The American experiment is over,” she states. We are living in a post-constitutional society. Logan speaks decisively on how we arrived at this position and what is required to keep America from falling from the global stage. You will recognize your experiences in her explanations and understand the gravity of exercising your influence to make generational strides toward establishing what is good, true and God-given. Without social platform or organization behind you, discover how you can be a living representation within your family, within your neighborhood and community of a life lived in faith and with a freedom which triumphs over fear. For Show Notes & Episode Details: https://theinfluencerspodcast.orgGet more inspirational content all week…FACEBOOK: https://facebook.com/theinfluencerspodcastofficialINSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/theinfluencerspodcastofficial/TWITTER: https://twitter.com/hearinfluencersYOUTUBE: https://youtube.com/@TheInfluencersPodcastLearn more about Dorothy Logan and get a copy of her book, The Unraveling at https://freedomacademy.com.

Katherine Pasour is passionate about health and honoring God with our bodies. She is educated in making changes for better health and knows how to start that process. An author, professor and consummate student, Pasour received multiple degrees in health, physical education, and religion, finally getting a PhD in Education only to discover they were interrelated. Physical health affects our spiritual, social and emotional health. Working together, those interlinked facets form a body and mind made in the image of God but operating with a free will. If one facet suffers, our whole body suffers. Weight gain, for example, makes us feel worse, ignore working out, decline social opportunities, feel depressed, and worship less. Every part suffers. Ignoring diets and fads, Pasour walks us through small changes we can make to break down our health obstacles and affect lasting change as you discover your best self. For Show Notes & Episode Details: https://theinfluencerspodcast.orgGet more inspirational content all week…FACEBOOK: https://facebook.com/theinfluencerspodcastofficialINSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/theinfluencerspodcastofficial/TWITTER: https://twitter.com/hearinfluencersYOUTUBE: https://youtube.com/@TheInfluencersPodcastLearn more about Katherine Pasour and get a copy of her book, Honoring God With My Body, at https://katherinepasour.com

Children are now victims of the mental health crisis. Unstable home and school environments, the constant bombardment of social media trends, shifting ideologies and pressures are some of the factors that Dr. Beena Wilkins, Pediatric Specialist and author, recognizes as affecting our children. A medical doctor and mother of teens, Wilkins tracks the resultant anxiety, depression, and debilitating fear from physical and spiritual perspectives. This insight, borne out of a personal journey with mental health stressors, has been the impetus for sharing her success in battling those challenges while, simultaneously, equipping parents with tools to help their children become healthy. Wilkins' encouragement to “put your own oxygen mask on first,” comes straight from the flight attendant script, but is something she feels is actually biblically based. As parents and grandparents, make time for God first, listening to Him daily, then He will direct as you use basic and effective tools to encourage and assist your hurting, confused children. For Show Notes & Episode Details: https://theinfluencerspodcast.orgGet more inspirational content all week…FACEBOOK: https://facebook.com/theinfluencerspodcastofficialINSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/theinfluencerspodcastofficial/TWITTER: https://twitter.com/hearinfluencersYOUTUBE: https://youtube.com/@TheInfluencersPodcastLearn more about Dr. Beena Wilkins and get a copy of her book, Under the Broom Tree, at https://kharispublishing.com.

Accolades of her tenure in the world included being the youngest ever Clinic Director for Planned Parenthood, Planned Parenthood Employee of the Year in 2008 and boasting a sizeable paycheck. As Clinic Director, Johnson facilitated the murder of thousands of children, including two of her own. Then one day God opened her eyes. Suddenly, she knew, saw, and recoiled at what she had done. Where could she go from there? Could God's mercy cover all those sins plus the relentless, accompanying shame? Today God is using Johnson in a mighty way as she demonstrates healing to those who have left the abortion industry and to the thousands who suffer as she has, sharing the restorative, limitless love behind His never-ending mercy. For Show Notes & Episode Details: https://theinfluencerspodcast.orgGet more inspirational content all week…FACEBOOK: https://facebook.com/theinfluencerspodcastofficialINSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/theinfluencerspodcastofficial/TWITTER: https://twitter.com/hearinfluencersYOUTUBE: https://youtube.com/@TheInfluencersPodcastLearn more about Abby Johnson and get a copy of her book Fierce Mercy at https://prolove.com/ or https://abbyj.com

Lewis that Glaspey had a vibrant awakening. Riveted by Lewis' practical yet creative understanding of God, Glaspey noted a strong parallel. Jesus expressed truth through parables; C.S. Lewis did the same in books like The Chronicles of Narnia. Glaspey calls them “Truth Bombs”: Art, music, or narrative that presents truth in a fresh, memorable way, probing even the soul. God's call on Glaspey's life is to introduce people to great writers, artists, and musicians so that they may see the Master. Co-host Dave Donaldson breaks down the impact of gratitude in this empowering podcast and issues a challenge. Moved by the legacy of gratitude that he witnessed in the life of his 89-year-old grandmother and its ability to move light into the darkness, Donaldson reveals the untapped potential it holds for us. Gratitude is an element that gravity has no grip on. As Donaldson says, “Gratitude determines altitude.” It provides more than just a birds-eye view of our situations; through gratitude we gain a glimpse of God's perspective and that completely changes our purview. Today you are being called out from under the cloud cover in your life: “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise.” Discover truths about gratitude and take the Gratitude Challenge; you will be amazed at where it takes you.*This message first aired at Canyon Hills Assembly of God, Bakersfield, California. You are not the only one who has ever been depressed, anxious, or stressed; everyone has. Pastor, speaker and podcast host Wesley Towne says that his broken life led to his calling. He loves Jesus, was in the Word and in prayer daily, yet even with the core principles of discipleship in place, he found himself paralyzed by anxiety and depression, and he wasn't alone. Searching for mentors he could confide in, Towne discovered that leaders, entrepreneurs, CEO's and influencers all shared his same struggles, accompanied by the same shame. Cloaked in silence, and exacerbated by cultural and digital pressures, suffering only grew. Convinced that the narrative had to change, Towne began equipping churches to address mental health openly and honestly, facilitating pastors and leaders to bring into the light the suffering from the shadows. Founding President of Celebrate Kids, co-founder of Ignite the Family, faculty at Summit Ministries, public speaker, and author, Dr. Koch dives deep into core values and mechanics we can access to encourage capable, resilient, and secure kids. As a young girl, Dr. Koch talked too much, was taller than others, and struggled to listen. However, her parents saw her verbosity as a strength, not a problem. This set the groundwork for understanding that children need to be encouraged to live long enough to find out “why they are, the ‘who' they are.” Her insight into effective communication with children and methodologies for building character is refreshing, convicting, and based on the whole person of God. Does fear impact your ability to function at times? Kristel Ward is an author, speaker, podcast host, and teacher who, having taught in some rough districts, felt she could handle the toughest situations. Then her youngest son began having daily seizures. Suddenly, Ward's confidence was replaced with fear, and her hope dissolved. She was struck by how quickly she could spiral into that dark place of all-consuming anxiety even as a Christian. God used His Word to remind her that when all you have is Jesus, He is enough. The Lord impressed upon her anxious heart that the same Jesus who saved Peter from drowning, as he attempted to walk in faith, was the Jesus who was there for her when she felt submerged in fear and hopelessness. Be reminded that as Christians, when we lose our footing and our hope to fear or anxiety, we can let ourselves sink deeper or do as Peter and fix our eyes on Jesus and call out, “Lord, save me!” His hand is always extended. For Show Notes & Episode Details: https://theinfluencerspodcast.orgGet more inspirational content all week…FACEBOOK: https://facebook.com/theinfluencerspodcastofficialINSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/theinfluencerspodcastofficial/TWITTER: https://twitter.com/hearinfluencersYOUTUBE: https://youtube.com/@TheInfluencersPodcastLearn more about Kristel Ward and get a copy of her book Grace to Grow at https://kristelward.com/

Do thoughts of your past fill you with regret or thankfulness? In this episode, you will learn to recognize when success is your main target, find liberation from a life without purpose, pursue God's glory instead of unrewarding self-focus, and choose significance over success one step at a time.
