En los ultimos versiculos del capitulo 4, Pablo continua ensenando los contrastes entre la ley y la gracia, la fe y las obras. Y como ilustracion, el apostol Pablo emplea una historia del Antiguo Testamento, utilizando a Ismael, a Isaac, a Agar y a Sara como simbolos de una verdad espiritual mas profunda; dandonos, una vez mas, a escoger entre la libertad y la esclavitud.

Estamos tan inmersos en la filosofia de que nada es gratis, que hasta cuando alguien nos da un regalo, nos parece que hay que dar algo a cambio, no es asi? Y de la misma manera, se nos hace dificil pensar que lo unico que tenemos que hacer para obtener la salvacion es confiar en Jesus. En el capitulo 4 de Galatas, versiculos del 21 al 31, encontramos que estos creyentes estan enredados precisamente en este predicamento.
