In this episode:Join me as I talk to a former client, Amy-Beth Mellor who I'm personally super inspired by. Amy-Beth spent 20 years working in the NHS as a Dietician in pretty senior roles, whilst battling a number of physical health issues that she'd had since childhood, as well as an inexplicable level of exhaustion that left her unable to function during her time off. Then, in 2020, she got a late-in-life diagnosis of Autism and ADHD, which finally shed some light on her long-held work struggle, and started her journey to understanding her own requirements for a right-fit career and lifestyle. In this episode you will hear us talk about Amy-Beth's very real and detailed experience in trying to operate in a role that wasn't right for her and the impact it had.We also talk through how she determined the criteria for her ideal career and the path she navigated to finding the kind of work she loves doing today – which she still can't believe she gets paid to do every day! Hello! This episode I sat down with the iconic Miles Bentley to discuss my new favorite movie of all time- Little Women (2019). I seriously loved this movie so much, I sat down and read the entire script. I was so excited to unpack everything from the lighting scheme to Florence Pugh making Ice cream. On a serious note, this is one of the most revolutionary movies that I think will last the test of time. That being said, I highly HIGHLY recommend everyone go watch it as soon as possible. So, as always, please ~enjoy~

Racism; it’s a buzzword that catches headlines in the never-ending news cycle these days and it’s also something we’ve encountered frequently throughout this journey together. In this first of a two part series, we share our personal experiences individually and as a couple in regards to discrimination based on stereotypes. Important Note: We are risking a lot by sharing our experience in podcast form, so if you're coming to the table to listen, do simply that. Everyone has their right to express their own experiences in their own unique way, and we boldly invite you to the table for a different kind of conversation. Encouraging words and genuine questions are welcome. However, we do not tolerate hate speech or words without thought, so if you have questions, asking them mindfully & try not to dehumanize us in the process. The Vitality Secret Podcast - Defy Disease, Combat Common Illnesses And Stay Young
Wouldn't it be crazy if we could measure our health to determine our level of health, and whether or not we're building the foundations of disease, yet none of us are testing for it? Well, this crazy is real. It's crazy because it can be as simple as getting regular blood tests for certain biomarkers which will tell us whether what we're currently doing is working, or whether it isn't. If it isn't, then we can decide what to do about it. We are not encouraged to test our own health. In this episode, Amy Beth Of Health And Bliss For Life discusses the importance of regular blood tests and how to go about it.
