Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... 2 Corinthians 14:2-4 Paul says: I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) 4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 1 Corinthians 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. Acts 21:8-9 And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him. 9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy. Luke 2:36-40 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; 37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of HIM to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem. 39 And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth. 40 And the Child (Jesus) grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon HIM. Judges 4:4-5 And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time. 5 And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. Ephesians 4:11-13 And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Calvary Chapel McKinney Pastor James Marini continues a midweek Bible study series through 2 Corinthians. This week's verse by verse study is 2 Corinthians 5. From Wednesday, April 9th, 2025.2 Corinthians 5 Take Aways1. As Paul lived his life looking forward to a resurrection in eternity with assurance, we too should be heavenly minded, knowing that our hope will be fulfilled in eternity as we trust in the completed work of Christ—“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” Philippians 3:20-212. As Paul explained and Jesus affirmed, a rewards judgment lies ahead for all men, which in turn should motivate us to live with a heart and mind that is set on pleasing the Lord Jesus—Hebrews 12:28 “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear."3. Since Christ died to bring reconciliation between God and humanity, we are to be zealous ambassadors who live to preach the Gospel of reconciliation to all men—“Christ gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” Titus 2:13
Today, Many in America Live and Act as “enemies of the Cross of Christ” Thereby, Traveling the Road to Eternal Death MESSAGE SUMMARY: God has told us that we are His children and citizens of Heaven. To this end, God has given us the Holy Spirit as a pledge of our inheritance as His child. Also, God gave you the Holy Spirit to provide you with the power to live a Spiritual life. However, far too many continue to live and to act as “enemies of the Cross of Christ” by having their minds focused on earthly things as the lords of life. If this picture of your life-actions and life-focus describes you, then you very well may be on the road to eternal death and destruction. Therefore, you must return to Jesus and His way of doing things – Jesus' pattern of discipleship, servanthood, and submission is a path to your Salvation. Paul, in Philippians 3:18-20, defines an “enemy of the Cross of Christ: “For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.". Jesus Followers have their life-focus driven by the realization that they are His child and a citizen of Heaven; therefore, you and your life-focus, as a Jesus Follower, are all precious to God since He sacrificed so much to adopt you as His child. TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, I praise you because your love seeks my good in any and every situation. Forgive me for the seeds that I have squandered. In order to cleanse Israel from the uncleanness that came from the death of so many in their rejection of Aaron, God provides a red heifer sacrifice. The author of Hebrews, 2000 years later, sees this as a clear connection to Christ: "For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God” (Hebrews 9:13-14) Pastor Mollenkopf highlights the glory of the gospel of Christ within the heart of Numbers.

How often do you think about heaven? How do you picture it? Does it fill you with immense peace? John Morales has a heavenly discussion with Fr. Jerome Koutnik, exploring the nature of heaven. Spoiler alert: it's not the soda-fountain-in-the-clouds you might have imagined as a kid! A Spiritual Dimension Fr. Jerome helps us understand that heaven isn't a physical location. Instead, it's a transcendent reality. St. Paul hints at this in 1 Corinthians 2:9, describing heaven as something beyond our wildest dreams. Jesus' Ascension: A Physical Event with a Spiritual Meaning When Jesus ascended, it wasn't about reaching a physical "place" but symbolizing a higher, glorified existence. He rose to confirm the apostles' faith, showing that His presence isn't confined to physical realms. Heavenly Presence: Beyond Time and Space Fr. Jerome emphasizes that while heaven isn't a physical place, Jesus' risen body and the bodies of Mary and St. Joseph are present there in a glorified form. They move beyond physical constraints, embodying a spiritual reality that transcends our earthly understanding. Mass: A Glimpse of Heaven on Earth Fr. Jerome beautifully connects this concept to the Mass. It's not just a local gathering; it's a mystical participation in the eternal, heavenly liturgy. Through the Eucharist, heaven and earth unite, making every Mass a step into the divine. Heaven: In the Heart of Christ For those still wondering, “Where is heaven?” Fr. Jerome poetically concludes: heaven is in the heart of Christ. It's a place of eternal love and mercy, where we're invited to dwell forever. Are you living for heaven now on Earth? Key Takeaways: Heaven isn't a physical place: It's a transcendent reality. Jesus' ascension: Symbolic of moving to a glorified existence. Presence in heaven: Not bound by physical limitations. Mass: A mystical participation in the heavenly liturgy.

Friends of the Rosary, Today, the whole Church commemorates the commemorate the Passion and crucifixion of Jesus Christ when He died for the sins of the world. It's a solemn day of mourning and also a legal holiday around much of the world. It's a day of sadness, spent in fasting, abstinence, and prayer. Practicing some mortifications today, such as eating less or standing up is appropriate. We find ways to slow down and have more quiet to contemplate this day, avoiding loud conversations and restricting ourselves from distractions, entertainment, and social media. We can pray for different devotions like the Rosary, Stations of the Cross, the Divine Mercy devotions, and do meditative readings of the passion of Christ. The title for this day varies in different parts of the world: "Holy Friday" for Latin nations, in Germany, it is "Friday of Mourning," in Norway, it is "Long Friday." Some view the term "Good Friday" (used in English and Dutch) as a corruption of the term "God's Friday." Liturgically, around three o'clock in the afternoon, we participate in the "Celebration of the Lord's Passion." The service — not a mass — is divided into three parts: the Liturgy of the Word, the Veneration of the Cross — when we joyfully venerate and kiss the wooden cross "on which hung the Savior of the world —, and Holy Communion. In the Liturgy of the Word, we hear the passages from Isaiah of famous of the Suffering Servant (52:13-53:12). Psalm 30 is the Responsorial Psalm "Father, I put my life in your hands." The Second Reading is from the letter to the Hebrews, 4:14-16; 5:7-9. The Gospel Reading is the Passion of St. John. The ten intercessions cover these areas: For the Church For the Pope For the clergy and laity of the Church For those preparing for baptism For the unity of Christians For the Jewish people For those who do not believe in Christ For those who do not believe in God For all in public office For those in special need The Father sent his Son to bring divine light to the darkest place. Christ Jesus offered his body in sacrifice to take away the sin of the world. St. Anselm said that the death of the Son reestablished the right relationship between divinity and humanity. According to Francis Schaeffer, “Christ's death in space-time history is completely adequate to meet our need for refuge from the true moral guilt that we have. It is final because of who He is. He is the infinite second person of the Trinity; therefore, His death has infinite value.”[1]Though Jesus suffered for our sins for only a few hours on the cross, His death had infinite and eternal value and saves forever those who trust in Him as Savior. Geisler states, “Being by nature the infinite God, Christ's death had infinite value, even though His suffering and death occurred in a finite amount of time. Time is not a mandatory measure of worth—birth, for instance, happens over a relatively short span but produces something of extraordinary value. One death in limited time achieved something of limitless value for all eternity.”[2] Paul Enns states, “At the heart of orthodox belief is the recognition that Christ died a substitutionary death to provide salvation for a lost humanity. If Jesus were only a man He could not have died to save the world, but because of His deity, His death had infinite value whereby He could die for the entire world.”[3] As a result of what Christ accomplished, there is great benefit for us who have trusted in Him as our Savior. By His work on the cross, Christians become the recipients of great blessings, both in time and eternity. Though He blesses some Christians materially (1 Tim 6:17-19), His main focus is on giving us spiritual blessings which are far better. Paul wrote that God “has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Eph 1:3). According to Harold Hoehner, “Every spiritual blessing (eulogia) refers to every spiritual enrichment needed for the spiritual life. Since these benefits have already been bestowed on believers, they should not ask for them but rather appropriate them by faith.”[4] Some of the spiritual blessings mentioned in Scripture are as follows: We are the special objects of His love: “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom 5:8), and “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10). We are forgiven all our sins: “When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross” (Col 2:13-14; cf. Eph 1:7; Heb 10:10-14). We are given eternal life: Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand (John 10:27-28; cf. John 3:16; 6:40; 20:31). We are made alive together with Christ: “God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ” (Eph 2:4-5). We are raised up and seated with Christ: God “raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph 2:6). We are the recipients of God's grace: “For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace” (John 1:16), “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Eph 2:8-9). We are created to perform good works: “So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith” (Gal 6:10), and “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them” (Eph 2:10; cf., Tit 2:11-4). We are given freedom in Christ: “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery” (Gal 5:1), “For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another” (Gal 5:13; cf., 1 Pet 2:16). We are given a spiritual gift to serve others: “As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Pet 4:10; cf. Rom 12:6-8; Eph 4:11). We are children of God: “See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are” (1 John 3:1a), “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus” (Gal 3:26). We are made ambassadors for Christ: “We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God” (2 Cor 5:20). We are gifted with God's righteousness: “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Cor 5:21), “and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith” (Phil 3:9; cf. Rom 4:3-5; 5:17). We are justified before God: “Being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus…For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law” (Rom 3:24, 28), and “knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified” (Gal 2:16). We have peace with God: “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Rom 5:1). We will never be condemned: “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18), “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life” (John 5:24), “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Rom 8:1). We are given citizenship in heaven: “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Phil 3:20). We are transferred to the kingdom of Christ: “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son” (Col 1:13; cf. Acts 26:18), and “walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory” (1 Th 2:12). We are all saints in Christ Jesus: we are “saints by calling” (1 Cor 1:2), and “saints in Christ Jesus” (Phil 1:1), and “are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household” (Eph 2:19). We are made priests to God: “He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen” (Rev 1:6). We are God's chosen: “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him” (Eph 1:4), “So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” (Col 3:12). We are the recipients of His faithfulness: “He Himself has said, ‘I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you'” (Heb 13:5), and even “If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself” (2 Tim 2:13). We have been called to walk in newness of life: “We have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life” (Rom 6:4), and “walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love” (Eph 4:1-2). We are members of the Church, the body of Christ: “For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another” (Rom 12:4-5), and “He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all” (Eph 1:22-23; cf. Col 1:18). We are indwelt with the Holy Spirit: “Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Cor 3:16), “your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you” (1 Cor 6:19). We are sealed with the Holy Spirit: “having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise” (Eph 1:13b; cf. 2 Cor 5:5). We are enabled to walk with God: “I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh” (Gal 5:16), and “Since we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit” (Gal 5:25). We are empowered to live godly: “His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence” (2 Pet 1:3). We have Scripture to train us in righteousness: “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work” (2 Tim 3:16-17). We are guaranteed a new home in heaven: “In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:2-3). We are guaranteed resurrection bodies: “I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality” (1 Cor 15:51-53). We have special access to God's throne of grace: “Let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Heb 4:16). We will be glorified in eternity: “When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory” (Col 3:4), for Christ “will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself” (Phil 3:21). Soften my heart to surrender to your will in and through me. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 120). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Lust. Rather, I will abide in the Lord's Perfect Provision. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5). Why should we win souls? Website: www.PastorTodd.org To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give Church: www.RRCNashville.org Book: www.PastorToddBook.com 1. Because God Commands It Soulwinning is not an option. It is not a spiritual gift. It is not a church growth program. It is a clear, unequivocal, unavoidable command of God. 2. Because There Is a Hell Psalm 9:17 still says, “The wicked shall be turned into Hell and all the nations that forget God.” Revelation 21:8 still says those without Christ will have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone. Many years ago when I was an assistant pastor, two sisters, Rita and Penny Shire, attended a youth activity. The older sister, Rita, trusted Christ. I went to visit Penny, a seventh grader, in her home the next week. Her mother allowed me to visit with her and did not interfere as I presented the Gospel to her. When it came time, however, for Penny to make a decision for Christ, her mother interrupted and said, “She's not old enough.” I explained that I wasn't asking Penny to be baptized or join the church. I told Mrs. Shire that I had been saved as a young boy at the age of four. Nonetheless, Mrs. Shire adamantly insisted, “She's not old enough.” I asked the mother if it would be permissible for Penny to get saved when she came to church sometime. Strangely, she agreed. Penny came many times after that. I always gave an invitation and always looked her way. She never raised her hand. I had been at First Baptist of Bridgeport just a few weeks when one of the former youth workers from the church where I had been an assistant pastor, called and said, “Penny Shire has been in a terrible accident.” A young man driving a Chevrolet Vega had deliberately pulled in front of the truck that Penny and her father were riding in (he left a suicide note). The gas tank on the truck exploded. Mr. Shire was killed instantly and Penny was in a coma at Hurley Hospital in Flint, horribly burned. I drove up to see her when I heard the news. I would not have recognized her had I not been told who was in the bed. Knowing that sometimes, people can hear when they are in a coma, I gave her the Gospel one more time. I explained that she did not need to be in church to be saved and did not need to be able to speak aloud; that she could tell Christ from her heart that she was trusting Him as her Saviour. I asked if she could wiggle a finger or raise an eyebrow. She made no sign. To this day I do not know whether or not she is in Heaven or in Hell. I hope that sometime she trusted Christ. I would hate to be her mother at the judgment seat. But then all of us deal with people every day who will spend eternity in Heaven or in Hell. We know the answer. We must tell them. 3. Because We Know How To Escape Hell Imagine a man having a cure for cancer and keeping the news to himself. Imagine seeing someone about to be run over by a car and not trying to warn him. How much worse it is for those of us who know the only escape from eternal damnation to keep it from those desperately in need of this truth. 4. Because Soulwinning Is the Decent Thing To Do 1 Corinthians 15:34 says: “Awake to righteousness and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.” I once heard of a preacher who, along with his family, befriended an elderly lady. She became a kind of a grandmother to his children and was included in family gatherings. After a while, their friendship had advanced so far that he felt awkward about giving her the Gospel; wished he had done it sooner, but did not know exactly how to broach the subject. Years went by. One day the preacher was under such deep conviction that he went over to the lady's house and clearly explained the Gospel. She was very quiet when he ended. She said, “Are you telling me that you believe that if I died right now, I'd go to Hell because I've never trusted Christ?” “Yes ma'am,” he replied. “That's what the Bible says.” “And you've believed this all the time you've known me?” He again replied in the affirmative. “Get out of my house,” she said. “You're not my friend. I don't ever want to see you again.” I hate to say it, but the lady is right. It is not friendship or any other kind of decent behavior to withhold the Gospel from those who need it. 5. Because There Is a Heaven What a wonderful blessing it will be to be reunited with loved ones for eternity. What a privilege it will be for us to see those living forever in Heaven, to whom we have given the Gospel of Christ. 6. Because It Glorifies God John 15:8 says:“Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” There are those who say that our prime motivation is not to win people to Christ but to glorify God. I do not disagree with them, but I must remind them that the Bible clearly says God is glorified when we bring forth much fruit. 7. Because It Encourages Believers When I win people to Christ, bring them to church, or share their testimonies with others, believers are encouraged and uplifted. Iron sharpens iron and my testimony encourages others to do the same. 8. Because It Perpetuates Truth for the Next Generation The Lord Jesus tells us that believers are like wheat and unbelievers are like tares. Wheat must be planted every season. It never regenerates itself. Weeds grow automatically. It takes nothing for wrong to prevail and evil to predominate. It takes great effort for righteousness to be perpetuated. 9. Because It Demonstrates the Power of God I spent my last year of high school at Bob Jones Academy in order to get out of school a year early. One December evening, I went with the Academy soulwinning bus to Spartanburg, South Carolina. It was a cold night. No one seemed to want to listen to us present the Gospel to them. My partner, Oddver Cuevas, ran out of tracts and said, “I'm going into this drugstore to warm up.” I had a few more tracts, which I passed out and then joined him in the drugstore. I discovered that he had engaged the proprietor of the drugstore, a man named George Vassey, in conversation. George Vassey was twisting Oddver into a theological pretzel. Since I was raised in a preacher's home and considered my knowledge of the Bible at age 16 to be almost limitless, I violated a rule of two-by-two soulwinning and interrupted the conversation. Sure enough, in no time at all, there were two theological pretzels twisting on the drugstore floor. George Vassey knew verses I had never heard of. He quoted things from the book of Mormon, the Koran and other sources with which I was totally unfamiliar. I left discouraged. I thought as a young man, “I'm not going to do this again until I know more about it. I'm going to study every religion; have an answer to every question; and then I'll go back out.” I went home for Christmas vacation, came back and did not go soulwinning the next Friday evening. When the bus returned, I heard Oddver Cuevas running down the hall, hollering my name. He burst into my room and said, “George Vassey got saved! I went by the drugstore and he said as a result of our visit, he trusted Christ. He has stopped selling dirty magazines in his drugstore, and he says he wants to take part of the building that's not being used and turn it into a rescue mission!” Why did George Vassey get saved? Because of our theological expertise? Because of our unanswerable arguments? Because of our persuasive speech? No. George Vassey got saved because the Spirit of God worked in his heart. 10. Because It Is a Timeless Principle Even a casual reading of the Word of God will convince you that it has always been right for people who know God to tell people who don't know God about God. Remember, it is an Old Testament verse that says, “He that winneth souls is wise.” 11. Because We Must Face Jesus at the Judgment Seat of Christ “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.” 2 Corinthians 5:10–11 (emphasis mine) 12. Because Our Hands Will Be Stained with the Blood of the Lost We Don't Tell “When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him no warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.” Ezekiel 3:18
We were formed by God. We may look like our parents but we have The Fathers heart and calling in us. Some of us have been told that we were an accident. But God doesn't make mistakes. Before God formed us in the womb. He molded us and carved out who we were. He designed us way before we were even a thought in our parents mind.God designed us and designed our destiny at the same time. If we don't fit in, it's because God designed us to be set apart. He made us different so we can seek for something greater than us. By not fitting in God reminds us of who we aren't, so we can discover who we are. The more we compare ourselves to others, the more we'll fail to be who we're called. God put a call and destiny in our life not to fit in, so we can become leaders and pioneers. When you're walking in the kingdom mindset you should know… Christ FOR you. He loves you at ALL times. His love is not bases on us, it's based on Him. Christ IN you. We invite Him into every part of our life, good and bad. Christ ON you. Instead of putting on our old and dirty clothes. It's time to wear and put on Christ. When we're in Christ we become everything He is. When we're in Christ, He doesn't see our failures because He turns them into our testimony. We need to put on the armor of Christ everyday. The armor is not some religious stuff, the armor of is Jesus, so we can't forget to put ON Christ.Application: Do you currently feel like you don't fit in? What are some things that come to mind about who God has designed you to be? Are you currently walking in all 3 of the kingdom mindsets? If not, how can you begin to do that today?Prayer: Father, Today I receive and believe that you're FOR me, IN me, and ON me. I ask that you remove all the dead things and become the center of my life. Thank you for not only loving me but also liking who I am. I'm ready to discover all that you designed me to be. In Jesus name, Amen.

FOUNDER OF 2ND CHANCEBorn into a minister's home, CJ Orndorff was raised in Tucson, Arizona. Music and ministry were just the way they lived. His parents pastored a local church, but also shared the Good News in other cities and nations. They purposefully demonstrated the passion for evangelism that he carries today. He attended Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas. Known for it's amazing worship, CFNI further deposited a deeper passion for worship and an insatiable hunger for the presence of God in him.He was raised backing up his musical parents on the electric bass, trumpet and acoustic guitar. His mother, Kathleen, and his father, Cliff, were exceptional musicians and pastors. CJ started leading worship at 15 and served in pastoral and music ministry in Arizona, Iowa and in California until the mid '90s. In 1994, a dear friend asked him to bring his worship team to prison for the first time. That experience changed his life and the focus of his future. Evangelism had always been at the core of his vision and dreams. Those dreams suddenly became a reality in his personal ministry.By God's grace, he's completed nearly 1850 concerts in prisons since 1994.CJ has been happily married to his wonderful wife, Laury, since 1988. Their daughter, Lynelle, is married, has 2 boys, and has served on staff with YWAM Denver. Their son, CJ IV, is a musician and photographer, working alongside his father in 2nd CHANCE. Friends of the Rosary: Today, the faithful mourn the death of Christ Jesus. We observe the "Celebration of the Lord's Passion." It's a sad, solemn day of mourning, spent in fasting, abstinence, and prayer. We try to find ways to slow down and practice contemplation by participating in the devotions and liturgy, while we restrict ourselves from outside entertainment, TV, music, and social media, as a way to avoid distractions from the spirit of the day. Families can gather to pray the rosary, Stations of the Cross, the Divine Mercy chaplet, and meditative reading and prayers on the passion of Christ. The title for this day varies in different parts of the world: "Holy Friday" for Latin and Spanish nations; "Good Friday" for Anglo and Dutch countries as a variation of the term "God's Friday." According to the Church's tradition, during the liturgy, the sacraments are not celebrated on Holy Friday nor Holy Saturday. The altar is completely bare, with no clothes, candles, or cross. The service is divided into three parts: Liturgy of the Word, Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion. The liturgy starts with the priests and deacons going to the altar and prostrating themselves in silent prayer. We hear the Suffering Servant passages from Isaiah (52:13-53:12), Psalm 30, "Father, I put my life in your hands," the Epistle to the Hebrews, 4:14-16; 5:7-9, and the Gospel Reading is the Passion of St. John. Ten intercessions conclude the Liturgy of the Word. For the Church For the Pope For the clergy and laity of the Church For those preparing for baptism For the unity of Christians For the Jewish people For those who do not believe in Christ For those who do not believe in God For all in public office For those in special need In the second part of the liturgy we venerate and kiss the wooden cross "on which hung the Savior of the world." In part three, the Blessed Sacrament is brought to the altar from the place of reposition. The Our Father and the Ecce Agnus Dei ("This is the Lamb of God") are recited. The congregation receives Holy Communion. During this Holy Friday, we take time to look at a crucifix, whether in our church or home, thinking of its significance. On the cross is the savior of the world. Christ died so we might be forgiven and set free to live. The love of Christ is shown on the cross, to set us free, enjoying the freedom of being a child of God. By the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you. For by your Holy Cross, you have set us free. Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You! + Mikel A. | RosaryNetwork.com, New York • April 7, 2023, Today's Rosary on YouTube | Daily broadcast at 7:30 pm ET

Soften my heart to surrender to your will in and through me. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 120). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Resentment. Rather, I will abide in the Lord's Compassion. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5). A WORD FROM THE LORD WEBSITE: www.AWFTL.org. This episode of The Walk features worship artist, songwriter, and worship leader Patrick Mayberry and his wisdom could apply to anyone leading a team in any setting. He brings a great combination of practical advice for those on worship teams, as well as some great inspiration based on 2 Corinthians 10.2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (ESV) For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ…For those of us in leadership, having a grasp on the vision God has given you for your business, church, or ministry, and passing that vision along to your team can not only inspire, but it can motivate your team to pursue excellence in the practical applications of their giftings. The abilities that God has given us, when used for Kingdom purpose, destroys lies and attacks set against us in the spiritual relm that manifest in the physical realm. Use your “weapons” today, whether that be leading worship, doing taxes, or fixing cars, for God's glory and you'll see strongholds destroyed, in the mighty name of Jesus. - - - - - -Sponsor InformationWorship Leader Institutehttps://www.worshipleaderinstitute.com/coaching- - - - - -Please subscribe to our social channels for more information and great content surrounding building a lifestyle of worship.
