Sam was sailing in his Cape Dory 28 between the Canary Islands and Dakkar when I spoke to him. Before the interview, I talk about the San Blas Islands. Sam and I talk about the conditions, his Cape Dory 28, his windvane and electronic autopilots, sailing a full-keel boat, replacing the bronze chainplates, fixing a leaking hull-deck joint, Morocco, The Canary Islands, The Gambia, sailing to The Bahamas on a 16' Hobie Cat, fear, sailing for the sailing or for the destinations, solo sailing and why we love it, the Annapolis Boat Show, and more. Tune in next week for a continuation of this conversation. Sam and I got cut off at the end of this one, as he was underway and without reliable internet. WOW! Let us apologize for the echo on this episode. However, we think it's tolerable. Our DMs have been popping through the year with questions about yoni or vaginal steaming, so we needed to find a practitioner who knows more about this.Chantal Blake joins us from Dakkar, crossing the sea just to teach us about the globally ancient science of yoni steaming, a technique that addresses common issues women encounter daily. Heavy periods, infertility, sexual issues, watch out! Steaming may be the key to plumper, healthier vulva and uterus. In addition, let's talk herbs, hot and cold foods, and diet as it relates to overall women's health.Of course, none of this episode is medical advice, but it is information about female reproductive and sexual wellness that we deserve to know is out there as an option when maybe we've hit a wall with everything else. Ask a doctor you trust, or check out our links in Shownotes for certified vaginal steaming practitioners near you.Tune in at 6pm EST on Apple podcasts, Stitcher, Amazon Music or check out our website for easiest listening.Find Chantal Blake on IG: @honoredwombFind a Certified Vaginal Steaming Facilitator at Steamy Chick InstituteChantal's book recommendation: The Walking QuranSign up for Introspection in Seclusion Day PassesWeb: www.mommyingwhilemuslim.comEmail: salam@mommyingwhilemuslim.comFB: Mommying While Muslim page and Mommyingwhilemuslim groupIG: @mommyingwhilemuslimpodcastYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrrdKxpBdBO4ZLwB1kTmz1wSupport the showWeb: www.mommyingwhilemuslim.comEmail: salam@mommyingwhilemuslim.comFB: Mommying While Muslim page and Mommyingwhilemuslim groupIG: @mommyingwhilemuslimpodcastYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrrdKxpBdBO4ZLwB1kTmz1w

This week your hosts discuss Throne of the Horde King by Zoey Draven. This is the last in her Horde King's of Dakkar series and it's sad to have it end but it was a fantastic ride! Kara, a grown human hybrid, has spent her whole life sheltered away from others with the Priestesses in Orala Pass and she longs for adventure. Rath Serok, the bastard son of the king, is frustrated with the Priestesses lack of response in regards to the red mist that is slowly taking over the land. He goes to confront them but finds no help, until Kara. They embark on an adventure to stop the mist and to stop the corruption in the capital. Will they survive both the wilderness and the city? How does the series end?
There's magic to be made again with Abigail and Dakkar and crew in Rockaway Pointe with Mabon & Murder the next in the Bringers of the Light series. Here I share the backstory of Rockaway Pointe and Tessa Loch along with my bigger wishes for this whole body of work

Welcome to 2 Tone Legacy a special 10-part audio documentary series of the Ska Boom podcast that focuses on the stories behind the songs that contribute to the enduring legacy of 2 Tone music and its ongoing impact on popular culture. In each episode, I'll be joined by Paul Williams, author of "You're Wondering Now: The Specials from Conception to Reunion" and lead singer of UK 2-Tone band The Skapones. Paul is a noted 2 Tone expert and he'll be sharing his memories and insights on all the songs covered in this series. "Easy Life" by The Bodysnatchers may be one of the most deceptively revolutionary 2 Tone songs of all time. Though it sounds like an upbeat feminist ditty and it is remarkably catchy and danceable, a close read of the lyrics reveals some real layers to the song. “Easy Life” addresses and rejects the pressure and refusal to conform to pre-determined – often media driven – constructs of femininity. Dakkar sings: we are near to an equality/girls and boys with pay parity/we are near to an equality/the law says there is equal opportunity/but still it's a struggle/yes life is still a struggle Ska Boom is hosted/produced by Marc Wasserman and co-produced/engineered by Rob George and appears on Pantheon Podcasts. Ska Boom is the audio companion to my book Ska Boom: An American Ska & Reggae Oral History available from DiWulf Publishing and Amazon. 05 February 2022. Tom Urquhart is in charge while Damo is away, and catches up with Red Bull racer Sam Sunderland, who says standing on top of the Burj Khalifa is one of the scariest things he's ever done. Fix it or Flip It: Matthew Davidson provides valuable car advice and valuations on the spot. This monster can be a prejudice, fear, insecurity, trauma and so on. We believe that romance novels are as much about one's personal journey as they are about finding love. After all, love makes us vulnerable and forces us to bare our monsters to another.
The Wine Episode!!! Recently, I had been looking to further educate myself on the romance and intricacies of wine. Luckily, my friend Will works, and sells, in that very industry. Thus, I invited him on to take me to school, and he brought along his coworker, and certified sommelier, Dakkar to add to the mix. They each brought a bottle of their own, and then we hit Bevmo. My only instructions were to maintain a variety and to keep it under $100, and they didn't disappoint. We ultimately sat down with six bottles of wine ranging from a rosé to much heavier reds. What foods pair well, the thoughts behind each country's specialties, proper procedures, and so much more! Life is RAD.
Write with me as I start to channel in our Bringers of the Light Cozy Autumnal Mystery
This epic, half-hour installment sets up Dakkar's new life in London, where endless knowledge and endless debauchery go hand-in-hand.
This week your hosts discuss Madness of the Horde King by Zoey Draven. Vienne has been a slave to an alien race for years. They finally send her on a mission to deliver a message to the ruler of the Dakkar. However, when she gets there she finds herself drawn to the Mad Horde King. While they work together to find a heartstone, they cannot ignore their chemistry but will their differences keep them apart? This is an after dark episode with cursing and discussions of hot alien sex!
Today we travel to the Country of Senegal, in Africa, to speak with Senegalese music champion, Mamadou Fall. The Senegalese music I have heard is similar to the people I have met from there. It’s fun, lively and complex. CNN once said that Senegal was inextricably linked to a musical sound. This style of music, Mbalax, has sacred origins and contains elements of reggae, hip hop and soul. This episode features music from Youssou N'Dour and Cherifou, from Senegal, and Akon, from the United States.

This monster can be a prejudice, fear, insecurity, trauma and so on. We believe that romance novels are as much about one's personal journey as they are about finding love. Gears and Beers: The Unashamedly Unprofessional Automotive Podcast
We're back for episode 177! This week we start off with a bit of bollocks, as per usual, before Joseph kicks start the News. The first bit of news this week is the wonderful announcement from Audi that they're dropping their Formula E campaign, and will be returning to Le Mans endurance and Dakkar. Mitch then talks about Porsche teasing the new (992) 911 GT3 RS! It will be a 4.0L naturally-aspirated flat 6, with an optional manual transmission, among other improvements over the out-going 991 generation GT3. We then talk about a Porsche GT2 RS smashing the production car lap record at Mount Panorama during 'Challenge Bathurst'. Matt then gets us to have a conversation, by starting off by making it a game... Of sorts. We then end with a different take on the Forza-style engine swap game we played from a few weeks back; this week, we have to pick a 6-cylinder engine to put into a current production car. Find us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and at www.gearsandbeersmedia.com / www.unashamedlyunprofessional.com We have a merch shop! Gears and Beers Podcast is hosted by Mitchell Denham, Matthew Morwood, Joseph Riga, and Joel McD. Unashamedly Unprofessional

I met with Håkan Fagerström, Group Head of Cargo, Tallink Silja Oy, when visiting Helsinki May 16th, 2017. Håkan is a Master Mariner with a sense of IT, programming skills and is not afraid of trying new things. In a way it feels like because he is open to change, he is contributing to developing the industry and since he loves his work so much, I doubt if he ever will be south of Dakkar.. Listen & tell everyone else that they should listen.
