Hi Guys, welcome back to TV Reload. Thank you for clicking or downloading on today's episode with Sarah Walker one of the creators, Executive Producers and writers on The Twelve Series 2. Which is mid season on Foxtel and Binge I am a big fan of Sarah's work over the years and in a past podcast contract I featured LGBTI guests - I had featured Sarah's story and in some ways it was my enjoyment talking TV with her that made me want to start work on this TV Reload podcast. So there you go. A little bit of trivia for those who have been listening since the start. Sarah Walker is a highly experienced Australian author, screenwriter and script producer. She was the lead writer on Lingo/BBC1 ratings hit thriller The Secrets She Keeps and Foxtel's The Twelve; she co created Network 10's Wonderland and was script executive on the prison drama Wentworth. I will ask about the shows future and if there will be more crimes for a new Twelve moving forward and how important Sam Neil is in the continuation of this story? I will ask about the nature of Foxtel's productions and how Brian Walsh legacy has played a part in making scripted drama. This season feels a little easier to follow and its rare the second series is better than the first. So I will ask about the notes that were created before going into the writers rooms. We will even get an update on the work Sarah has been doing with Charliese Theron and where those projects are currently at. There is so much to unpack with some fantastic secrets along the way. So sit back and relax as we unpack The Twelve Series 2.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Well, folks, we've finally made it to the best Star Trek series of them all, and we will hear no other opinions on the matter. Strangely though, for being the unabashed greatest of them all, this series is still fairly niche and doesn't get the attention it deserves. As a result, we have taken it upon ourselves to become the emissaries of this beloved show and spread its word to the world. Convert yourself to the truth as we watch this premiere episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This is the beginning of Part Five of our 100 episode list, Venturing Out Into The Universe, in which we're examining how the Star Trek franchise has grown and changed over its history. In this chunk of episodes, we're going to be looking at Deep Space Nine & The End of TNG--that period of time when there was not one, but two Star Trek shows on at the same time! This will be a nineteen episode selection comprised of episodes from the First and Second Seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, as well as episodes from the Sixth and Seventh Seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1993-94). Four soloists, three choirs, and members of six top orchestras, representing the two German States and the four Occupying Power States of post-war Berlin, participated: musicians from orchestras of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, from Dresden, Leningrad (St Petersburg), London, New York, and Paris. Three choirs supported Bernstein at his great Berlin Ode To Freedom concert: the Bavarian Radio Chorus; members of the Radio Chorus of what had been East Berlin; and the Children's Choir of the Dresden Philharmonie. The solo quartet featured June Anderson, soprano; Sarah Walker, mezzo-soprano; Klaus König, tenor; and Jan-Hendrik Rootering, bass. When the musicians gathered in Berlin for the concert residents were chiseling away at the hated Berlin Wall. Leonard Bernstein also carved a chunk of the wall and sent it to his family in New York.Help support our show by purchasing this album at:Downloads (classicalmusicdiscoveries.store) Classical Music Discoveries is sponsored by Uber. @CMDHedgecock#ClassicalMusicDiscoveries #KeepClassicalMusicAlive#LaMusicaFestival #CMDGrandOperaCompanyofVenice #CMDParisPhilharmonicinOrléans#CMDGermanOperaCompanyofBerlin#CMDGrandOperaCompanyofBarcelonaSpain#ClassicalMusicLivesOn#Uber Please consider supporting our show, thank you!Donate (classicalmusicdiscoveries.store) staff@classicalmusicdiscoveries.com

In a remote small town, a neuro-divergent teen, Star (Sarah Walker), forms an unlikely rapport with an international student from Shanghai, An (Ziyin Zheng), volunteering at the hospital where she is a patient. Between the two, a bond forms, cemented by their candid conversations, nightly text messages, and exchange of their deepest secrets. The boundaries of their friendship quickly expand into something special, altering their inner alchemy. QUEENS OF THE QING DYNASTY is a story that breaches the absurd and poetic, the platonic and the romantic. Both intimate and intense, it explores the intrinsic beauty and innate flaws of what it is to be human, the profundity of connection, and the vortex of mental illness. The electronic music score blurs between cinema foley and sound design to create a feeling of an alternate plane. The film is an affectionate ode to women, asexuals, and neuro-diverse and gender queer individuals who exist beyond the norms of society. QUEENS OF THE QING DYNASTY is produced by Britt Kirr, Nelson MacDonald, and McKenzie, with music by Cecile Believe and Yu Su and cinematography by Scott Moore. Director and writer Ashley McKenzie (Werewolf) joins us for a conversation on the casting of film stars Sarah Walker and Ziyin Zheng, working with them to get their pitch perfect performances, and finding her own creative space outside the cinematic circles, of Toronto and Montreal, in Nova Scotia working with local artist. Better Than Perfect Welcome to our new series titled Better Than Perfect where we watch a series that the other person hasn't seen and the other person absolutely loves. We say early on in the episode that we thought it would be 90 minutes and it clocks in at 2 hours and 13 minutes. Are Ricky Bobby and Sarah Walker multiverse brother and sister? We took some time to discuss the elephant in the room, Chuck's hair in Season 2. We also hit a couple of tangents around Season 2 that we needed to explore but make that recap much longer than the other seasons. Lots of discussion about Season 4 should have been the end of the series rather than the shortened Season 5. Goofs: Troy said that Lauren Cohan's The Walking Dead role was some time after Chuck. However, the first season had already aired but she became a regular on the show in the third season. Time stamps for each Season. Season 1 (0:00 – 46:34) Season 2 (46:34 – 1:18:52) Season 3 (1:18:52 – 1:37:54) Season 4 (1:37:54 - 1:53:03) Season 5 (1:53:03 – 2:13:23) Intro/Outro music by friend of the podcast Seth Gilbertson. !!!Support independent media at our Patreon: https://bit.ly/3lcAasB !!! We normally think of planets as inanimate balls of nickel and silicon, animated by the molten rumbling of the inner core. How does our world change when someone like NASA's David Grinspoon reveals that planets are actually powerful beings? It requires zooming out from our own experience, lived in the narrow corridors of the human scale. It requires us to think on the galactic scale, to entertain ideas of living beings that operate in ways we can barely imagine. But imagine we do! We talk about the ways in which the wild creatures Earth live and breathe as a single organism, the role of humans in this interconnected world, and how Earth - and maybe all planets - come to be powerful, intelligent beings. This conversation is based on work that Grinspoon did with Dr. Sarah Walker and Dr. Adam Frank on Planetary Intelligence, check out their paper here: https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/international-journal-of-astrobiology/article/intelligence-as-a-planetary-scale-process/5077C784D7FAC55F96072F7A7772C5E5 Support us by becoming a patron of the sciences: https://bit.ly/3lcAasB And when you buy David's book, Earth in Human Hands: https://amzn.to/3NoAcJS Follow David on Twitter: https://twitter.com/DrFunkySpoon And by checking out David's work ªº¬˚∆≤≥≤≥ https://ssed.gsfc.nasa.gov/davinci/ ≤≥≤≥∆˚¬ºª ªº¬˚∆≤≥≤≥ https://funkyscience.net/ ≤≥≤≥∆˚¬ºª #PlanetaryIntelligence #Gaia #NASA Check our short-films channel, @DemystifySci: https://youtu.be/1OCL5Lq8m6s ªº¬˚∆≤≥ ≤≥ Join the mailing list https://bit.ly/3v3kz2S ≤≥≤≥∆˚¬ºª PODCAST INFO: Anastasia completed her PhD studying microbial communication at Columbia University. After all, love makes us vulnerable and forces us to bare our monsters to another.
