Has everyone played Destiny? I haven't but Owen of Oa has--so let's talk about it. Destiny: The Taken King is a major expansion for Bungie's first-person shooter, Destiny. Released on September 15, 2015, as the third expansion of Destiny, it revolves around Oryx, The Taken King and his plot for revenge after players slew his son Crota in Destiny's first downloadable content (DLC) pack, The Dark Below. Players must face the "Taken", Oryx's army of corrupted aliens forced to fight for him. The Taken King adds content across the game, including new missions, a Player versus Environment location, Player versus Player maps, player gear, weaponry, and a new raid. Upon the expansion's release, retailers also issued Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition which includes Destiny (base game), The Taken King, and the previous two expansions, The Dark Below and House of Wolves.Music Featured at the end of this weeks episode brought to you by the Free Music Archive!Crush At Maracas Bar by Rolemusic is licensed under a Attribution License.--- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/southarcadia/messageSupport this podcast: https://anchor.fm/southarcadia/support

It's happened again, Stephen leads off Under Your Thumb this week. He finally brings in a new game, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. But it's his only game this week. Brian is up next, and he also got Paper Jam. Oh, and his famous "toilet-style games", Pocket Mortys. Justin's next and besides some brief Fallout 4 updates he is still in love with the new Tomb Raider game. Anthony ends it all with Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and Destiny: The Taken King. Just hearing the game's name leads Justin into an rant that can't be stopped. It's good. Welcome to episode 42, our delayed new year/Christmas podcast, featuring extra material not in the YouTube version! In this episode, Bard has been playing a very hard multi-player twin stick shooter with Helldivers about the USA, democracy and killing hordes of enemy’s. TheSuffolkRam has been getting annoyed with his God, assembling tetris pieces and dealing with OCD in The Talos Principle. Bard has also been disappointed with Stardust Vanguard, an otherwise fun game let down by lack of online co-op. He’s also been replaying the recently re-released Dragon Dogma, featuring a character who is a master of either Porn’s, Prawns or Pawns, we’re not quite sure. Bard has been to see Star Wars: The Force Awakened, not featuring Jar Jar Binks. We also discuss the death of great musician David Bowie, the villain of the greatest Christmas film ever Alan Rickman, Motorhead front man Lemmy and Dan Haggerty, the man who played Grizzly Adams. We also reveal our Game of (Last) year, both released last year and new to us. We also talk about the merits of GOG, Vermintide single player, how the future will be shiny, STD in the Star Wars universe, was JarJar a Sith lord and also Rick Waller Notes A old school hard twin stick shooter with Helldivers Please you god for eternal life with The Talos Principle, and check out Rams lets play as well Bard recommends you get the PS4 version of Stardust Vanguards, but the Steam version of Dragons Dogma is the best Join the hype train and see Star Wars: The Force Awakens, plus a new theory behind JARJAR THE SITH LORD! The joy of western plagiarism, sorry ‘influenced by’, The Hidden Fortress the origin of A New Hope. And Kimba The White Lion, The Lion King is a coincidence apparently… The sad death of many celbrities this podcast with David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Lemmy and Dan “Grizzly Adams” Haggerty. Our games of (last) year both new and new to us: TheSuffolkRam – GalCiv 3 and Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Bard – Helldivers and Cave Story, and Skazz – Destiny: The Taken King He’s finished his time in Skyrim, Now Thomas The Tank Engine has move to the world of Fallout 4 So you didn’t win Curiosity: Whats Inside the Cube? well here is what the winner saw Why not come join us on our next livesteam? See our YouTube channels for details Cheers TheSuffolkRam, Skazz and Bard

The Joy of Gaming Podcast, Episode 54: The Triumphant Return, Starring Fallout 4, Destiny: The Taken King, Black Ops 3 & Halo 5 And we're back, with a new core lineup and an amazing crop of new Fall games to discuss. And for that reason, we (Rich, Jordan and Kelsey) have decided to dedicate this entire episode to a giant-sized “What We've Been Playing” extravaganza! We also discuss some exciting news about the future of the podcast, and announce a Kickstarter comic project from one of our hosts. Last year's Holiday gaming season was more than a little disappointing, but this year, game developers have turned up the volume to 11, dropping the proverbial mic with a slew of huge new game releases. Fallout 4, for example, has been anticipated for more than 5 years, and Bethesda had a lot of hype to live up to. We discuss whether or not they've pulled it off, and share some of our initial adventures in the commonwealth wasteland. Meanwhile, with the release of The Taken King, Destiny has become Rich's new obsession, and has taught him the meaning of the words “MMO” and “life-consuming.” And although Bungie is no longer guiding Master Chief's destiny, 343 Studios took the franchise to new heights with 2012's Halo 4. Can Halo 5: Guardians keep their streak alive? Jordan has some strong opinions on the subject. And finally, Call of Duty has made it back onto the Joy of Gaming's radar with Black Ops 3 - Treyarch's comprehensive new entry in the series. We'll tell you why. Oh, and Kelsey has played over 300 hours of The Binding of Isaac, and explains to us exactly how that's possible. And a bit closer to home, we couldn't be more proud of our very own co-host, Jordan, who just launched a project of his own. If you haven't checked out the Kickstarter campaign for “Terminal Protocol” yet, you should probably take a moment now to click and see what all the excitement is about. It's a sci-fi graphic novel collaboration with Image artist Rem Broo, and it looks outstanding. Also, there's a Joy of Gaming podcast-related backer reward that you won't want to miss! All things considered, this Holiday season is shaping up to be one for the history books, and we're loving every minute of it. It's a great time to be a geek, and an even better time to be a gamer. After all, this...is the Joy of Gaming!

Dotyczy on bowiem Destiny: The Taken King, czyli istotnego dodatku do głośnej strzelanki sieciowej od Bungie, który miał swoją premierę 15 września.
In this week’s episode, we take you further into the sausage making that is editing podcasts. We discuss the development of one of our games, Peak, including our opinions on the game’s logo. Mason gets disgusted by Dylan’s practice of watching video game cutscenes on YouTube, with Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate being his latest victim. Mason gives us an updated impression on the Steam Controller, and we dive into Jason Schreier’s Kotaku article, “The Messy, True Story Behind The Making of Destiny,” discussing what Bungie could have done differently to avoid its rocky launch. Games include Destiny: The Taken King, Broken Age, and Until Dawn. Got a question for the show? Join us on Discord or email us at contact@ward-games.com!
