Throughout the 7-year history of Sports with Friends, there have been many Syracuse University alums on the show. Bill Spaulding is one of those alums. He was recently named the newest television voice of the New Jersey Devils on MSG Network. Spaulding most recently served as a play-by-play broadcaster for college hockey on NBC Sports and college football on ESPN. While at NBC Sports, he also worked on four Olympic Games and two Paralympic Games, covering events such as track and field, speed skating, ski jumping and more. In this episode, Bill speaks in detail about his emergence as a young broadcaster from Syracuse, and then the story of getting hired by MSG and working with Ken Daneyko and the rest of the MSG/Devils crew. The beginning of this episode is a tribute to former NHL player/broadcaster Peter McNab, who died at the age of 70 aftger a battle with cancer. McNab was profiled recently on Sports with Friends (Episode 362) and there were plans to have him on again. Follow Bill Spaulding on social media @billspaulding.
Welcome to Nate and Mitch are Friends Episode 71. Oh, gee, what fun!You know the drill. Mitch and Nate are friends and they talk to each other. The conversation bobs and weaves like a boxer floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee. You've come to know and, possibly, love this "content". I guess it's "content". That word is a bit ridiculous and has seemingly lost all meaning. Shall I get on my soap box and preach at everyone about how influencers are the downfall of our society? Do we truly live IN a society? You decide!Anyways, share with your friends and your family. We know they'll love it. **New episodes every Friday at 10am CST**Follow us on social mediaTwitter - @Nate_And_Mitch https://twitter.com/Nate_And_MitchInstagram - @nateandmitcharefriends https://www.instagram.com/nateandmitcharefriends/Facebook - @nateandmitcharefriends https://www.facebook.com/nateandmitcharefriends

Nate and Mitch are Friends Episode 46!Thank you for taking the time to hear two friends talk for an extended period of time and also for reading this overview. On today's episode, Nate and Mitch discuss some tasty brews that Nate is sippin' on. Nate has never fully watched a fast and furious movie. Sylvester Stallone, his movies, and a possible lost son(?) or at the very least look-a-like get brought up based on the more distinct features of him. Tommy Pickles quotes and inventiveness gets talked about for a total of probably 3 seconds which leads into Nate's new tattoo and Mitch thinking about maybe starting to think about getting a new one. Novelty vehicles in the form of Oscar Meyer mobile and the Planter's peanut mobile get discussed. Nate tells an extremely dumb and over complex joke. For the majority of the rest of the ep, the boys talk about poop, pee, and puke. Normal every day talk for them. Things end with an appreciation for Stone Cold Steve Austin and his IPA. Again, thank you for listening. It's much appreciated! This week on Pop Uncultured, we focus on two broads (after briefly touching on a train-obsessed "differently abled" person). These dames might as well be from different planets. The first bird, Elly Space, is from a planet where disguising yourself as a young woman while putting forth the minimum effort into singing broken English lyrics to a soulless techno track while half-heartedly dancing in front of a green screen can actually result in success. The second slag, Amy Smith, is from a planet where everyone is a planet. This lumpy pile of marshmallow fluff hits us with some HOT FIRE recipes guaranteed to liven up your holiday victuals and libations. She may also be the funniest person we've ever found on this podcast by a country mile (aka Amy Smith's waistline wocka wocka i'm gay).Timestamps00:57 S41 Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends Episode 6 Final by TheNewStoryteller https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmGht78aggQ&t=125s10:40 Spring Boom Boom Ding Ding by Elly Space https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXlAItyVe7Y30:05 It is summer! Friends Episode 13 is a special episode about making space to engage the topic of racial reconciliation. Episode 14 will be released on the usual day (Tuesday) with artist Morgan Harper Nichols. For this episode I am grateful to Pastor Lamont Hartman for being willing to record a quick conversation. He offered some helpful practices, and things to take into consideration, when confronting injustice. Lamont is a seasoned pastor and non-profit developer. He has spent years working around racial reconciliation, and has hosted seminars for people to engage the need for bridge building and deep friendships. Check out more of his work https://www.instagram.com/lamonthartman/ I myself, am by no means an expert, and this episode was created in response to people asking me to share my thoughts and opinions.I think getting out of the way is a better use of my platform and I would invite you to engage the work of https://www.instagram.com/latashamorrison/, https://www.instagram.com/austinchanning/, https://www.instagram.com/theandrehenry/, https://www.instagram.com/drewbrownmusic/ Please listen to this episode with some grace. Thank you to those of you who helped me fix audio- Josie Jimenez and George Bell You guys are lifesavers! And thank you to Steven Burnett for stepping in and tidying it up!
