Welcome to the 75th episode of the Wedding Songs Podcast. I am Matt Campbell. And today I'm gonna be talking about 100 bouquet toss songs to play at your wedding reception. Now, this is when the bride tosses her bouquet. A recommendation would be to have a second bouquet, so that way she can keep her own. That second bouquet is thrown to all of the single ladies in attendance and tradition says that the person that catches it will be the next one to be married. Today's list will be broken up by genre and then starting off with the latest song first by release. If you prefer to read the list or listen to the list you can do so on our website MyWeddingSongs.com Just go to song ideas and bouquet toss on the main menu. While you're there, make sure you sign up for a monthly newsletter of new wedding song ideas. These are great songs that you could play at your wedding, that are not played at every wedding. It also has lists of popular songs, and even after you're married you can play them for your date nights. So let's go ahead and get started with the list the first song is R&B genre "Girl On Fire" by Alicia keys released in 2012 and "Love On Top" by Beyonce in 2011. And the Anthem also by Beyonce is "Run The World (Girls)" with the lyrics - My persuasion can build the nation... endless power with our love...we can devour you'll do anything for me. Who runs the world? Girls. Keri Hilson with "Pretty Girl Rock" in 2010 with lyrics - all eyes on me. When I walk in, no question that this girl's a 10, don't hate me cuz I'm beautiful. Another Beyonce song, "Diva" in 2008 and "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)". A very popular selection for the bouquet toss by Beyonce in 2008 with the lyrics, don't pay him any attention cuz you had your turn and now you're gonna learn what it really feels like to miss me. Cuz if you liked it, then you should put a ring on it. "Dangerous" by Kardinal Offishall and Akon was released in 2008 and again in 2021, with the lyrics she's so dangerous, that girl is so dangerous. That girl is a bad girl. "Glamorous" by Fergie featuring Ludicrous in 2007 with the lyrics living my life in the fast lane. And I won't change for the glamorous. "Milkshake" by Kelis in 2003, and "Independent Woman" by Destiny's Child in 2000. Very popular songs for the bouquet toss is TLCs, "No Scrubs" with the lyrics, but I'll know except nobody is supposed to know. So I creep. Yeah, cause he doesn't know what I do, and no attention goes to show. 702 released "Where My Girls At". Yes, 702 means they are from Las Vegas. Released in 1999 with the lyrics where my girls at, from the front to back. Well, is you feeling that? Well, put one hand up. Can you repeat that? Trying to take my man. The last song I have on the list for R&B is "Jumpin' Jumpin'" by Destiny's Child in 1999. Next up is pop bouquet toss songs. The first one was just released by Lizzo called "Grrrls" in 2022. On May 9th, enjoying a backyard BBQ with friends at the home of NHL player and Ottawa Senator, Cody Ceci, the unimaginable occurred and a freak accident had 24 year old Hana Engel going up in flames. Doctors and family were unsure if she would survive. She woke up from her coma four weeks after the accident to a new nightmare. While this podcast touches on the moment Hana went up in flames, we focus on her process, her treatment and her recovery. Hana shares her experience of being in her coma and how her background in yoga helped ease her way through the rehab. She is incredibly brave, vulnerable and honest in our talk... I am in awe of the talent and passion of doctors, medical advancements and technology. I hope you enjoy listening to Hana as much as I did and can take something from her messages. I definitely did.
