In this episode of the Clean Power Hour, Tim Montague sits down with Scott Graybeal, CEO of Caelux, to explore the exciting world of perovskite solar technology. Graybeal reveals how his company is on the cusp of revolutionizing the solar industry with their innovative perovskite-based coatings for traditional solar panels.Graybeal dispels the myth that perovskite technology is still confined to laboratories, announcing that Caelux has already ramped up to 50 megawatts of production capacity in Los Angeles. He explains how their perovskite coating can boost the performance of existing crystalline silicon modules by 20-30% while reducing energy costs by about 20%. This breakthrough could have significant implications for both residential and utility-scale solar projects. The conversation delves into the technical aspects of perovskite solar cells, addressing concerns about lifespan and the use of lead in the manufacturing process. Graybeal outlines Caelux's approach to sustainability, including their plans for cradle-to-grave traceability and recycling of materials.Perhaps most strikingly, Graybeal shares a bold prediction from industry research: by 2040, more than 80% of all PV shipments are expected to incorporate perovskite technology. He emphasizes that the commercialization of perovskite solar panels is not a distant dream but a near-term reality, with Caelux aiming to bring products to market in early 2025.Don't miss this fascinating glimpse into the future of solar energy and the potential for perovskite technology to reshape the industry landscape. Scott Graybeal, CEO of Caelux, sits down to talk about perovskites-based nanotechnology that can improve the performance of silicon solar panels to produce 30% more power from the sun at a 10% lower cost than traditional panels. Caelux recently closed an additional $12 million in funding to build a manufacturing facility that will produce up to 100 MW of generation capacity. The $370 billion Inflation Reduction Act has reportedly been followed by between $213 and $511 billion in private investment, with hundreds of new solar, battery, and other cleantech facilities launched last year. It's a remarkable time to be in green technology because, as Scott explains, the U.S. has embraced an industrial vision and invested in making it happen for the first time since the Eisenhower Administration. Silicon-based solar panels have made tremendous progress since they came to public attention when the Carter Administration first installed them on the roof of the White House. The cost of electricity they generate has fallen by 99% as silicon solar panels achieved 20% efficiency. Perovskite, a calcium titanium oxide-based nanomaterial, can convert up to 30% of the sun's light into electricity, and recent research suggests they could become two-and-a-half times more efficient in the next few years. You can learn more about Caelux at https://caelux.com/

In today's episode of NBB&B the guys will be speaking about why you need to invest in yourself to obtain more skills. Understanding the importance of what it means to “play to win” and putting aside the mindset of “Everyone wins”. Solar power is expanding its footprint in the U.S., but it may be efficiency and enhancements that may help the technology shine brightest. Scott Graybeal, CEO at Caelux helps us better understand some of the advancements and playing field in this form of energy.
Look out! Jr. is back this episode by popular demand requested by Randy Cooper. Today's episode is chock-full of beers and shit-talking, but only because Jason is finally done with the 75 Hard challenge. You're in for a real treat on today's program. They start off talking about the grueling process of going through 75 Hard and the journey that took Jason from Fluffy to an Ambercrombie and Fitch or Hollister model. It's 75 days of no alcohol, reading 10 pages daily in a non-fiction book, and exercising twice per day; one indoors and one outdoors. 75 gallons of water later and 75 selfies, Jason is in peak physical condition and ready to rock and roll. Today's episode is all about commitment. There are going to be days when you would rather eat the ice cream instead of the salad, but the point is those who are truly committed, do the hard things anyway. Steve hits hard on the truth about if human beings are lazy, or if we're smart because we like to go the easy way. Our commitments we keep all begin with ourselves. Jason chimes in with the brutal truth of why we avoid commitment. Much of it has to do with our physiological makeup. He asks the earth-shattering question, “How bad do you really want it?” Andre chimes in with what things look like if you don't actually do what you committed to. He shares how many of the things we have, the lifestyle we live keeps us comfortable, and the fact that there really are no consequences. Steve shares how in his previous career, he got to a place where he didn't care. Didn't give a fuck. Didn't want to do anything. When he started at Graybeal Solutions, he decided he wanted to go to the gym again. He has not quit since then because of the commitment he chose to keep to himself. If you can't keep your word to yourself, you can't keep it to anyone else, and this affects your integrity with yourself, your family, and your clients as someone who can't be counted on. If you can't be counted on in life, you'll be counted out. This is a great killer episode that questions your true level of commitment. Lean in and take notes. And when you're done, make a decision about how committed you are going to be. Everything in your life after that will determine whether or not you have a magnificent life. It shouldn't have to be so scary to address the elephant in the room - and we're here to do just that on the environmental crisisIt is easy to shy away from tough conversations about the state of our world. Leaning into defenses - like resisting the conversation - can feel like the most comfortable option, but these discussions are vital in healing our planet. What is the most likely consequence of not having a plan for your business? It is comparable to a ship without a rudder, purposeless and not definite about its destination. A business presumably would fail in such a state. You might have a killer idea for your business, but without planning, you might wonder how you should go about it. Bringing just a picture is not enough to set up a business or improve an existing one unless you properly plan to get started with action and transform that ingenious idea into a reality. So how do you create a plan for your business? Jason says, “You can't create the plan until you know where you want to go.” A proper plan is a roadmap directing you to your desired goal. It is crucial to have a vision of what you want your business to be and where you want to see it at some point in the future. And once you have the clarity, you know how to formulate a proper plan and take action. The real mantra to a successful business comprises little, regular steps to follow daily. In this episode of No Bull Business and Brews, your hosts, Jason and Steve, jam in a session discussing the fundamentals you follow as an entrepreneur to progress. They give you an authentic, elaborate account of little steps you put in, consistently with a compound effect to achieve significant future results. Tune in to find your daily actions contributing to your personal growth as well as your business growth. What you will learn: What makes Jason and Steve a perfect combination of business partners, and how do they complement each other. How do you create a proper plan and execute them. How you hold yourself accountable for your actions. Why it is crucial to start taking imperfect actions based on what you know today and getting them perfected in the process to keep the momentum going. And many more interesting facts! Favorite Quote: “It's the same thing for whatever aspect you want to improve in your life, whether it's your marriage, relationship, business, health, or any of that stuff. It's how you make small changes every single day, consistently, over and over again, that is going to add up to where you want to be.” - Jason Graybeal How To Get Involved: Jason on Instagram Jason on Facebook Steve on Instagram Steve on Facebook Enjoyed the episode? The educational system provides us with a context that you need a degree to achieve anything that leads you remotely close to success. However what is not spoken about often is how that is not the case. Anyone can make millions; they just have to have the determination to put their head down and do the work. In today's episode of NBB&B the guys will be speaking about why you need to invest in yourself to obtain more skills. Understanding the importance of what it means to “play to win” and putting aside the mindset of “Everyone wins”. Jason and Steve talk about six core values that need to be implemented to set yourself on the right path to success. They also speak about personal experiences and how these values have played a role in them.No Bull Business and Brews- Apple No Bull Business and Brews- Spotify No Bull Business and Brews- FacebookFind Jason on Instagram Find Steve on Instagram Enjoyed the episode? Life is going to come at you hard and fast. Testing every limitation that you have to yourself and where you want to be. The great thing about branching into adversity is the journey that goes along with it. If you can reach success just one time–you now have the formula to become consistent. You don't have to be a scientist, or metaphysicist to know there is a formula in everything we do in this world. If you're smart enough to figure out the formula, you can collapse time and get the results you want faster and see success sooner. Motion or acting upon a thought takes a thought from potential to kinetic energy. The more action you take and pair it with consistency, the more you create an energy that creates momentum. Momentum is what gets you to the results quicker. There are certain things you have to follow in the formula. Work is number one. You must be willing to work hard, long, and tedious hours if necessary. Being willing to do mind-numbing and menial tasks consistently and frequently is a huge part of the hard work required to get results. These are just a couple of things that have to be performed in order to the formula. Today, Jason, Steve, and Junior talk about what it takes to create momentum. How to maintain it. And what to do when you feel like you're losing it in your life and business. Grab a beer. Pull up a chair. Get ready to learn the complete formula for leveraging momentum to help you move the needle in your life. The gents are bringing the heat! How To Get Involved: Find Jason on Instagram & Facebook. There are certain times in our lives when we find that we get stuck. We become stagnant. Time seems to move slow, sometimes for years. Then, we hit a spark of creativity. Our creative gates open and we get focused on accomplishing something that's been thrumming in the back of our heads all our lives. We wake up and finally listen to it and take massive action. It could be something regarding our health, our family, business, and our finances. Today, Jason, Steve, and Jr. (Andre) jump into the power of self-development. They talk about the 3 benefits and lessons to investing in personal development and masterminds. This is one episode you'll want to bring your notepad and a pen because it's chalk full of shared experience, wisdom, and something you can take away from self-education and what happens when you implement rapidly. What You'll Learn: What happens when you attend a mastermind What you'll learn at the masterminds and the best way to approach a conversation with perfect strangers who have done something you haven't One thing you should do when you attend a mastermind or invest in personal development Where you can find the “roadmap” to success The true cost of what happens if you don't invest in yourself Why it's important to be surrounded by people who are doing the thing that you want to do How to remove self-doubt from the process of personal development A huge reason Jason, Steve and Jr. enjoy going to mastermind events The doors that open when you get in the room with the right people at the right time Jason explains how the mind actually changes in the process of going through personal development What to do with the actionable, implementable strategies once you get into personal development Why you don't have to break the bank to personally develop yourself Examples of masterminds you can take advantage of starting today An exclusive offer Steve Taylor makes that will remove any fear you have on taking a chance on the "what if" What Million Dollar Mastermind the biggest reason Jason and Steve took the trip to Dallas for a 3-day event How to deal with failure by simply changing your mind And much more! Look out! Jr. is back this episode by popular demand requested by Randy Cooper. Much of it has to do with our physiological make-up. He asks the earth-shattering question of, “How bad do you really want it?” Andre chimes in with what things look like if you don't actually do what you committed to. He shares how many of the things we have, the lifestyle we live keep us comfortable, and the fact that there really are no consequences. Steve shares how in his previous career, he got to a place where he didn't care. Didn't give a fuck. Didn't want to do anything. When he started at Graybeal Solutions, he decided he wanted to go to the gym again. He's not quit since then because of the commitment he chose to keep with himself. Our ability to consume information, process it, and implement it no longer takes years. It takes days if that. They know how many employees they have to have to reach their 1-year, 3-year, and 10-year goals. They installed this system about a year ago and share how a book called “Traction” breaks down what EOS is and the overall concept. Jason highly recommends this to anyone running a business and how it's improved their efficiencies and processes in their company including Vision, Data you collect, Processes, Traction, Issues, and People. Today we're sitting down with Jared Graybeal. Last year, Jared sold his company, Superfit Foods, a healthy, subscription-based meal prep service. Afterwards, he hit the road to meet with people and explore what his next project should be. Out of that experience, he launched the Zelos Games, an event and experience company aimed at solving the earning potential issues faced by many athletes within CrossFit. Needless to say, he's an incredibly driven person. To balance his drive with the contentment that God calls us to, he's developed a daily system that works well for him. We discuss what that striving and contentment journey has been like for him, as well as what he's been up to since we last sat down at the 2021 CrossFit Games. If you missed our last podcast with Jared, you should go back and listen. We talk more about his testimony and how he came to know the Lord. It's a wild story that only God could write. We are in a season of giving. All we do at FAITH RXD is possible because of God, first, second because of our incredible volunteers, and in a major way it is also because of our donors. We are in a season of giving and we would ask you to pray about partnering with us in what God is doing by becoming a monthly donor. Seriously, first pray about it. Whether is $5, $50, $500 or some other amount, it is all used and helps accomplish the mission. If God is leading you to give, you can do that at www.faithrxd.org/donate

Why is passion necessary in entrepreneurship and building a thriving business? Jason points out to Mo, saying, “I'm sure this passion for having clean energy, taking care of our planet, love for mankind, are what triggered you into this field, which is awesome.” Mo's quick accession to the apex at the age of 31 years only is extraordinary. He always had a clear vision to determine what he was up to. As he says,“ I just felt distributed power was sort of this next wave that would take over the world and just like distributed cell phone and internet architecture, and everything's kind of moving to this decentralized nature, Power will do the same thing.” Mo's love for nature, sustainability, and green planet propelled him to shift from an oil and gas landman to a renewable energy entrepreneur. He is now the Founder & CEO of Good Faith Energy and its subsidiary solar provider companies. In this episode of Thinking Green, Mo is the guest in Jason and Steve's podcast, No Bull Business and Brews. He engages with the hosts in a fascinating conversation giving insights that contributed to his success story. Tune in to follow Mo's ‘roadmap' to reconsider your steps to your entrepreneurial journey. What you will learn: What bent Mo on creating a secure future for him, his family, people, and the planet at large. Why Jason and Steve address Mo as ‘the epitome of a true entrepreneur'.
