Sandy also describes her healing journey that began when she confronted the minister during her quest for justice and closure 27 years after his heinous behavior began. Now an advocate for other victims of clergy sexual abuse and child abuse, Sandy's riveting, important story about dreadful clergy abuse is more than a story of intense trauma; it is an important story about healing and rebirth. IN THIS EPISODE, YOU'LL HEAR ABOUT THINGS LIKE:How a charismatic youth minister targeted an innocent 16-year-old and preyed upon her.How grooming sets a victim up to accept unusual behaviors. How the minister established control over Sandy and manipulated her. How Sandy eventually broke away from her abuser. Sandy's husband's reaction when he learned about the degrading abuse Sandy had hidden from him for 27 years. The difference in perspective when the abuser is Catholic or non-Catholic. How the ministry called Hope of Survivors is helping victims of clergy sexual abuse. How Sandy eventually forgave both herself and her abuser. How Sandy's confrontation with her abuser came about. SOME QUESTIONS IRENE ASKS SANDY:What made you a vulnerable target for your youth minister, who was a charismatic wolf in sheep's clothing? In what ways did your youth minister target you, groom you, and prey upon you when you were an innocent 16-year-old girl? How did understanding the terms love bombing, grooming, gaslighting, and manipulation allow you to begin your healing process? How did you eventually break away from your abuser? Please tell us about the people who believed you, believed in you, and supported you as you journeyed toward healing and resolution. How did your confrontation with your abuser come about? What is the impact spiritually when abuse occurs within the church? How were you able to eventually forgive yourself and your abuser? What inspired you to become an advocate for a ministry called The Hope for Survivors? What is your message about the importance of healing?Abuse forever changes a person and healing takes time. Can there be joy again?

When Irene Weinberg's husband died next to her in a car crash, she got a powerful message: “Saul isn't going to make it, but you are.” Then as the medics were lifting her injured body out of the car, she got another message trumpeting through her brain: “Be loving and kind to everyone.” The story of Saul and Irene was not yet over, and Irene soon discovered that truth as she followed the breadcrumbs that led her to the mediums and healers who would reconnect her with her husband for the completion of their soul's curriculum together in this lifetime. Now Irene shares healers, mediums, channels, and coaches with people who are grieving from the loss of their loved ones. Watch this episode for the fascinating story of how Irene and Saul co-authored their book “Bagels In Heaven”, and inspiration to connect with your loved ones beyond the veil. The love she shared with her husband Saul, was real, deep and true. When they were involved in a car accident, Irene made it but Saul did not. After Life Emotional Curve Balls [caption id="attachment_941" align="alignleft" width="218"] Irene Weinberg[/caption] Sometimes life will throw a serious curve ball. Usually, when the curve ball hits you it seems random, unexpected and sudden.  So how does Love, death, afterlife and bagels have to do with anything? What if you get a message of a dire situation, and there is nothing you can do about it with the information. What if you got a message so devastating, you were left paralyzed emotionally and spiritually and almost physically to the point you could not discuss your experience with anyone. Irene Weinberg had that very scenario happen. Out of the blue a voice stating, Saul her husband has to go. What does that mean? How does a person react?  Does it indicate a divorce is eminent, or far worse? https://youtu.be/QxBS3I50I7k Irene experienced a devastating lost during an accident claiming the life of Saul her husband of 17 years. During the fatal incident Irene continued to hear a messaging voice, indication Saul is gone and she would be OK. Another strange message was delivered to Irene during the minute seconds of the accident. The message simply stated for Irene to love everyone as if it was the only thing in the world of importance. What an odd message as the physical uncertainty of your existence is in the balance. Available on Amazon Important Afterlife Messages During our conversation on the podcast, Irene lays bare the journey of wonderment, discovery and mindset alteration. The entire interview turned out to be thought-provoking and refreshing to new possibilities. There is an afterlife of love information and compassion available for all of us. Irene states it is all about love. Money, status, and earthly things are just a part of the experience of living but don't have any importance other than the experience on earth. She indicates we should all focus our attention on promoting love during our experience on this planet. Here are some takeaways from our discussion. We don't die, but transition. It all comes down to love. Love yourself too. Respect someone else's opinion. Everything is connected. They serve bangles in heaven. You can find Irene's book on Amazon and via her website. She is open to questions and talks of many topics related to connection with loved ones who have transitioned, and some of life's less easy questions to tackle. This is part two of a two part interview with Irene Weinberg, author of They Serve Bagels in Heaven. In part one, we learned about how Irene’s husband Saul was tragically killed in a car accident that also left Irene severely injured. As Irene began to heal and put the pieces of her life back together, her beloved Saul reached across the divide between the living and the dead, helping Irene to make positive changes that have affected her whole family. Those communications from the dead involved skilled psychics. Now I’ll confess I am still skeptical about such things, which you know if you’ve read my post on the dancetodeathafterlife.com blogsite called “I’ll have my medium rare.” But Irene has no such doubts, and there is surely no debating she is one happy, energetic, joyful, and spirited woman. That comes through in spades in this part two of my interview with Irene Weinberg of They Serve Bagels in Heaven.

In 1997, Irene Weinberg and her beloved husband Saul were driving home when their SUV went into a skid, flipped multiple times, and careened off the road. Irene, severely injured, turned to her husband but knew instantly that he was dead. That day, as tragic as it was, began a new chapter in Saul and Irene's centuries long love affair that transcends both time and place, and has helped make Irene the joyful, happy and thankful person you will hear on this interview. In part one we talk about how you have a chance to heal on the other side, how life is about living love, and about how they serve bagels in heaven. Join me for part one of my two part interview with Irene Weinberg, author of "They Serve Bagels in Heaven.”
