We speak with comedian, thought leader, and Justin Trudeau truther Robby Hoffman about, quite frankly, everything. That's right, her topic is Everything and actually that isn't even broad enough for our conversation. We cover mother-based gun ownership, the delights of poutine, and even gay men's interior design choices. Plus, Robby has a call to action that will have you running away from the voting booth this election cycle. Let this episode radicalize you! No one did more for me in my first few years in comedy than Big Jay Oakerson. Jay got me started in comedy - so you can either thank or blame him. When I was 19, Jay performed at my college and I laughed my balls off. He mentioned being from Philly, so after the show I told him I was interested in trying stand-up; he told me where to go, who to talk to and … I did my very first set a week later. We talk about the night we met, his early days in comedy, driving from Philly to NYC with Kevin Hart everyday and share some cool memories of shows we did together when I was brand new. Pat House is a nationally-touring comedian based out of Philadelphia. A regular performer in comedy clubs, casinos, and theaters all over the country, Pat has been a choice opener for Sebastian Maniscalco, Tom Segura, and Dan Cummins. He recorded his first album Biggest Thing in 2013, and his latest album Heard Enough Yesterday, hit #1 on the iTunes comedy charts. Both can be heard on iTunes, Amazon, and Pandora.Big Jay Oakerson is one of the most beloved and easily recognizable comedians in New York City. His easy charm and dirty delivery endear him to audiences every night. Jay’s comedy career spans two decades and a journey from “comic’s comic” to mainstream fame. Beginning as a standout in the Philadelphia comedy scene, Jay quickly became a favorite among other comedians after his move to New York City. He’s no stranger to the rest of America, either, regularly headlining across the country and playing festivals including Bonnaroo, Jager's Korn tour, RockStar Energy Drink's Mayhem Fest, Gathering of the Juggalos and Funny or Die’s Oddball Festival. Jay has also been featured on This Is Not Happening with Ari Shaffir, Comedy Underground with Dave Attell, FX’s Louie, Inside Amy Schumer, and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon & Conan. Jay co-host's “The Bonfire” on Comedy Central Radio Sirius XM 95 alongside Dan Soder Monday through Thursday 6-8pm EST. He is also the co-host of two wildly popular podcasts - “The Most Offensive Podcast on Earth” Legion of Skanks with Luis J. Gomez and Dave Smith and The SDR (Sex, Drugs & Rock & Roll) Show with Ralph Sutton both on The Gas Digital Network. Jay’s debut hour special "Big Jay Oakerson: Live At Webster Hall" premiered on Comedy Central in 2016 & was filmed at the legendary music venue in New York City providing the perfect heavy metal vibe for the show. Jay's comedy is raw, compelling and honest to the core, as he takes viewers on a journey of brutal truths. His second special premiered in 2018 as part of “The Degenerates” on Netflix filmed in Las Vegas. He has 3 albums on Comedy Central Records, The Crowdwork Sessions: What’s Your F@#king Deal?! Volumes 1 & 2 recorded live at The Stand & The Village Underground that capture Jay’s raunchy, off-the-cuff essence with a full hour of crowdwork. They join Jay’s first album, An American Storyteller, a one-hour onslaught of unbridled awesomeness and raunchy rock n' roll hilarity.Oakerson has hosted 2 seasons of "What's Your F@#king Deal?! Crowdwork & Off The Cuff Comedy" on Seeso. Jay asks the audience to let go of pretension and leave egos at the door as he leads a pack of comics in a completely improvised show based on interactions with the crowd. The atmosphere is loose and no-holds-barred, so you'll see a side of the performers you've never seen before. Longtime fans of Jay’s will also remember him as Neil, the sexually ambiguous owner of a NYC rock club, on IFC’s Z-Rock, and from his appearances on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Comedy Central Presents and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. He’s wowed audiences at the prestigious Just For Laughs Montreal festival an impressive four times, both on The Nasty Show and with his solo show, The American Storyteller. And he’s a fan favorite guest on Sirius XM’s Bennington (previously Ron & Fez).

Read the article at ComedyWham.com This week, Vladimir Caamaño sits down with Valerie Lopez to talk about how starting comedy in New York City was a successful training ground in no small part due to living rent free with his dad, successfully landing Just For Laughs Montreal, and his growing TV career. Apologies in advance for the deep dive into a single guest appearance on Brooklyn Nine-Nine and 3 guest appearances on Superstore, but these are top-notch guest appearances worthy of discussion. Caamaño shares his outlook on getting to co-star with Edie Falco on the CBS drama (and departure from comedy) "Tommy" and the confidence he gained from working on such a variety of projects. Where will things go next? Even Caamaño isn't sure, and he knows he's not in control. So we'll be patient for the next televised appearance (which as it turns out is happening now on TBS' Tournament of Laughs airing Sundays!) and hope to see him do a comedy tour through Austin. Sean Cullen is one of Canada’s finest comedic minds. His comedy/music act Corky And The Juice Pigs have played everywhere from Edinburgh Fringe, Just For Laughs (Montreal), to MadTV. Solo, he is one of my all-time favourite comedians to watch. He riffs like a master and his mind is as sharp as the oldest stilton. He has been on a ton of TV, including The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Match Game, had his own TV show on CBC, He’s even performed in musicals, such as the starring role of Max Bialystock in The Producers. We have a lovely time chatting about the industry and of course nonsense. Please enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
