Host James-Christian Blockwood talks with Academy Fellow and McGeorge School of Law Professor Clark Kelso and American Enterprise Institute Senior Fellow Adam White about why public agencies struggle and what the executive branch does in response. They discuss how checks and balances slow action and make errors hard to undo, while polarization and congressional dysfunction push presidents toward unilateral action, creating separation-of-powers conflicts and court intervention. The conversation centers on Schedule F and fears it could expand political appointments and erode civil service protections. They conclude trust is rebuilt through tangible, non-rhetorical improvements, suggesting a public-safety focus like FAA modernization.01:14 Why Agencies Fail03:25 Checks Balances and Speed05:22 Congress Gridlock Executive Action09:44 Unitary Executive and Independence12:47 Courts Guardrails and Chevron15:44 Real World Impacts and Trust19:30 Reforming Bureaucracy and DOGE23:45 Schedule F Debate29:31 Rebuilding Trust and OptimismManagement Matters is a presentation of the National Academy of Public Administration produced by Lizzie Alwan and Matt Hampton and edited by Matt Hampton. Facts matter….always. In WWII the US lost 95,000 military aircraft. My dad was flying a B-17 that was not shot down. Or I wouldn’t be typing this. The US lost 2,700 military aircraft in the Korean War. We lost 10,000 military aircraft in the Vietnam War. Now we get to the quiz question: how many US military aircraft have been shot down in Donald Trump’s Iran War? The answer bears contemplation in deciding whether one supports (count me in that number) or opposes the Iran War. The answer is…..ZERO. That’s right, zero. Here’s another question that we should be thinking about: what percentage of the Iranian people support Donald Trump’s decision to take out the mullahs and their IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps)? With the exception of those deranged Iranians who have been recruited to the sick secret police goons constituting the IRCC, the answer is 100% of them! Here’s another history question: what was German aircraft production on the day the war ended? Answer….the highest ever! What is the surviving production of aircraft in Iran today? Answer….ZERO. When WWII ended, how many submarines did Hitler have in the Atlantic? Answer….hundreds. How many ships of the Iranian Navy are still floating? Answer….zero. The point being that Donald Trump has commanded the most successful war in modern history. And another point being made by your host, Trump has commanded a war that is definitely MORE in the interest of the American people than WWII, the Korean War, or the Vietnam War. Let’s talk about it on the air. Today is March 31, 2026, only 30 days into this devastating war against a terrorist regime that has terrorized the Iranian people, the American people, and the world for 47 years.
President Trump today, March 30, 2026, announces a new effort to reach all Americans with true information. The President opened “The White House” as a mobile device app. You can download “The White House” starting now in the Google App Store or in The Apple Store. I downloaded the Android version for my cell phone in the Google App Store. It took seconds to do.
On March 27, 2026, listen to one of America’s greatest patriots, James O’Keefe, as he deploys his brilliantly-conceived undercover cameras to catch the criminal operators of the Left in flagrante delicto, in the act!
On March 26, 2026, President Trump presides over yet-another unforgettable patriot-power-packed Cabinet meeting in the White House. Please pay special attention to the great works of Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
You MUST hear Lana Nusseibeh, the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), as she brilliantly lays bare the truth about the criminal and brutal mullah regime of Iran. On March 25, 2026, she tells Brett Baier of Fox, answering the question as to why the IRGC animals have hit her peaceful, neutral country with MORE missiles and drones than have been fired at even Israel: “The question is why. The answer is because we are an idea that threatens Iran. Because we are open, we are progressive, we are tolerant, we’re a vibrant economy.” When the liberation of Iran is accomplished, probably soon, Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Joe Kent urgently need to interview her in depth….and they need to learn from her. One of her parents is Palestinian. The Persian Gulf is HER neighborhood. She knows in her pinkie finger much more about the Iranian terror regime than Tucker, MTG, and Joe can ever know….combined. One of the virtues of good people, of patriot people, like Tucker, MTG, and Kent, is that we, unlike Demonrats, are able to stand corrected when we get something wrong. Their chance to display this virtue is now upon them.
It’s important that as much of the divide among MAGA folks over the decision by President Trump, correctly, to free the world of the mullah’s nuclear terrorist regime in Iran, be healed. Graciousness from both sides of that divide will greatly help, here on Day 25 in Iran, on March 24, 2026.
Among his too-many obligations as the man saving America, Donald John Trump has to provide us with the news and facts that the libtards and RINOs have denied us for our entire lives. Today, March 23, 2026, Trump filled in some missing truths about America that I didn’t even know I’d missed. President Trump put up the graphs today on TruthSocial.com that astounded me, showing that America produces FAR AND AWAY more oil and natural gas than any other nation….or combination of nations! That prompted me to look up another source of energy to see whether we are on top in coal too. Well, by gum, we are! We have 1/4 of the coal reserves on Earth! We don’t use ’em, because of the green new scam, but we’ve got ’em! The chunks of beautiful clean coal that I can still find in the basement coal cellar of my 1905 patriot American home attest to the fact that our forebears we’re a lot smarter than we are as to how blessed America is. By the way, the Trump Phenomenon is back on X. You can post to me and I’ll reply at Trump Phenomenon Radio on X.
A great message to America from President Trump on March 20, 2026. Trump drops the hint that the war in Iran has already been won, and that he is looking at winding down America’s involvement.

Trump’s “American System” philosophy comes from long years of profound thinking. The bedrock of the Trump “American System” is something quite despised by the all RINO’s. One of President Trump’s greatest lasting contributions to our history will be whatever success he achieves in finding great Americans who fully understand Trump’s thinking. After spotting these fellow patriots, Trump’s mission will be to put them in position to carry on his revolution. Tucker Carlson appears to have missed the brass ring, sadly.

March 18, 2026 brings more good news to MAGA and to the phenomenon known as Trump. You’ve all seen CNN Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten explaining the latest polling data on his big CNN screen. Today he had a wild one on that screen. Enten put up an NBC News Poll taken of folks who consider themselves MAGA. Both Enten and NBC had to be gagging on their OWN polling results! The talking head lady next to Enten did appear to be dry-heaving into her own mouth when Enten showed her the polling results, which were that 100% of MAGA people approve of President Trump’s current actions, and 0% disapprove! What? We’re being bombarded by the controlled press with “Mockingbird” messages that Donald Trump’s supporters are abandoning him in droves. That all turns out, per Enten and the NBC poll, to be straight up lying.
On March 17, 2026, the U.S.S. Tripoli is steaming at (I presume) flank speed (an exclusively American naval term, signifying above full speed) from Japan to the Arabian Sea. 2,500 Marines man this assault ship, with 35 vertical take-off F35s and a bunch of tilt-rotor Ospreys on board this semi-aircraft carrier. In another chapter in the U.S. Marine story, are these 2,500 Marines in their vertical take-off Ospreys about to write more glorious history “from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli”? I think so. My crystal ball says that they will be storming the Strait of Hormuz and securing it. Along with the seizure of Kharg Island, that will seal the final doom of the mad-dog mullahs and their tyranny over the Persian people and their terrorism over the whole world….including, as President Trump correctly judged…..us!
For years we’ve felt sure on The Trump Phenomenon that Donald Trump despised the madman Volodymyr Zelensky, just as we (Kelso) do. Well, today, March 16, 2026, that feeling was confirmed as President Trump lambasted Zelensky, including the comment that Zelensky, not Putin, is the problem in Ukraine. Confirming that fact once again, Zelensky in the last two days actually threatened assassination on the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban! This psychopath Zelensky announced that he would give the personal address of Hungary’s highest elected leader to his Ukrainian army so that “they can talk to him personally in their own way”! Zelensky should be in prison long ago. By the way, Zelensky is not making that murder threat as an elected head of state against the elected Orban, since Zelensky’s so-called elected term in office ended two years ago! And since then he has blocked any effort to hold an election in Ukraine. In other words, he’s a dictator!
A brilliant throwdown from President Trump on March 13, 2026. Trump let the totalitarian Xi of China that Trump has Kharg Island in his crosshairs. This puts China’s absolutely essential oil source subject to termination if Xi doesn’t call off his mad dog mullahs in order to save Kharg Island for China. 90% of all of Iran’s oil, gas, fertilizer and other exports can only be shipped from tiny (2×4 miles, population 8,000) Kharg Island, which lies 16 miles off the northern shore of the Persian Gulf. Only Kharg Island has the deep water sufficient for docking 10 supertankers at once. The actual Iranian coast is very rocky with shallow water, not able to load supertankers or freighters. President Trump has brilliantly put Xi between a rock and a hard place, which will greatly accelerate the quick end of the mullah tyranny over the Persian people.
Here on March 12, 2026, our admiration for patriot heroes like MTG and Tucker is not diminished by what appears to be an unfolding reality of what’s happening in Iran, namely that President Trump made a right decision to wage war while MTG, Tucker, et all, missed the right call. And once President Trump has concluded ending the perpetual war that has been the mullah terror regime….we’ll all be back together feeling the patriot love!
Tonight, March 11, 2026, we hear from a couple of patriots who are qualified to know whether the Trump military campaign in Iran is winning or losing the day: former Thunderbird “MaxAfterburner” (the YouTube name of fighter pilot Max Bodenheimer, and Navy Admiral Brad Cooper, the Centcom Commander picked by President Trump. Bodenheimer and Cooper KNOW WHAT THEY’RE TALKING ABOUT. And their conclusion that Trump’s entire plan to end an unspeakably evil mullah regime, and thereby make it possible for the Persian people to take back their country…..IS both militarily, patriotically, and morally right!

Two new names to me, Xi Van Fleet and Ryan Bodenheimer, are part of our discussion tonight on March 10, 2026. Both Xi (pronounced “she”) and Ryan (known on YouTube as MaxAfterburner) are stupendous American patriots. Xi Van Fleet grew up under the oppression of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. I just purchased her new book “Made in America”, in which she shows how we Americans dumbly helped build and save the Chinese Communist Party. Ryan Bodenheimer was a member of the Air Force’s Thunderbirds. He flew an F-15E in the dumb “forever war” in Afghanistan. He agrees that that forever war was insane. But he also is an incredibly qualified person to make the assessment he makes of President Trump’s Iran War. Bodenheimer does not suffer the libertarian or pacifist propensity of wavering Trump supporters who wrongly have concluded that Trump must be a “Zionist tool” because he’s fighting to protect America against the nuclear fanatic mullahs who have crushed the formerly-great Persian culture in Iran. Trump truly wants to end the “forever war” that has infested the Middle East since 1948. The Zionists under Netanyahu want to destroy Iran, in their own version of religious fanaticism. Trump wants to save America, the world, and Iran from that perpetual war. Trump is not Netanyahu’s toy. Quite the contrary, Trump will be the undoing of Zionism. And the possible saving of a non-Zionist Israel itself.
I believe many of the patriots I admire most, like Tucker Carlson, are about to be proved very wrong in their well-intended proclamations that President Trump’s military action is doomed to become a fiasco. Here on March 9, 2026, I see something quite different in my historical crystal ball. James Kelso, says the reverse: Trump’s military action will be short, not long; Trump’s forces will be ever-more-successful and devastating in the utter obliteration of the evil Islamic Revolutionary Guard; American lives lost will be very, very low, not huge as Tucker and others predicted; Donald Trump, after his brilliantly-led whirlwind, will loudly put out the call to all Persian patriots to come out of their shelters, take back their streets and country. And the Persian people, just like the Iranian women’s soccer team in Australia, WILL RISE UP. Quite quickly, the Persians will take back their country. And Donald Trump will forever be remembered as having freed the whole world from the nuclear terrorist nightmare of a Communist Iranian tyranny that has all along been a tool of the source of evil afflicting the whole world for half-a-century….the Chinese Communist Party. Maduro falls, the Mexican cartels fall, Cuba is freed. Iran finds freedom after 47 years of slavery. And who’s next? The CCP.
President Trump is rolling now! Venezuela freed from the Communist Maduro with not a single American loss of life. Mexico set on its way to liberation from the China-run fentanyl cartels by just pushing aside La Presidenta Sheinbaum. In just 7 days, the entire Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) air force vaporized. Their entire Navy (32 ships) sent to the bottom, with a goodly percentage of their entire Navy of 10,000 personnel (who were dumb enough to be on board those ships). Both the entirety of the mullahs’ first tier of government becoming dead, followed a few days later by the entirety of the fanatics dumb enough to get dragged into the second tier. We await to see who steps up for the third tier. In 30 minutes the Trump-led U.S. military obliterated the one Iranian antique aircraft carrier, modified for $300 million last year by the mullahs to be a “drone carrier”. Today, March 6, 2026, President Trump used the term MIGA, Make Iran Great Again, to inspire the Persian people to take back their formerly-great country.

A great colloquy tonight, March 5, 2026, with caller Ed in Utah. Ed argues the case that we patriots ought to dump Trump. Kelso argues the case he’s been making for ten years on The Trump Phenomenon, that Donald Trump is the best thing that has ever appeared in any of our lives as Americans. Ed’s case is that Trump is a Zionist tool, serving the interests of Netanyahu’s Likud crazies in Israel. Kelso’s case is that since he came down the Trump Tower escalator in 2015, Trump has been always serving our interests as American patriots, among whom I would count him as the greatest in our history. Ed’s particular “flash point” in this instance is Trump’s decision to take down the truly lunatic and despotic regime of mullahs running Iran. Ed argues that the mullahs are no mortal threat to America. Kelso argues that these suicide-vest “Death to America” lunatics have indeed become a mortal threat to you and I and America, Egypt and Turkey, both more Muslim than Iran, and both right next to Israel have proved to be no threat to America or Israel. What makes a mullah-run Iranian police state a threat to both America and Israel? The answer is the mullahs” suicide-bomber fanaticism in building nuclear weapons mounted on hypersonic intercontinental missiles. Obviously such a weapon would obliterate Israel. But Donald Trump has correctly concluded that such a weapon has the power to end America. China, India, Russia, and Pakistan all have the ability to commit mutually assured destruction against the America. What has held them back from doing that? The fact that they are NOT suicide-bombers. The mullahs are. They are crazy enough to fire one EMP nuke high over the United States, knowing that such a single EMP would instantly disable most electronic devices everywhere in America. Would the mullahs then try to further take down and end American civilization? Probably not. Would the Chinese Communist Party seize that opportunity to finish off an America where all electronics are fried? I think they would. Donald Trump, I contend, is not STARTING the war with the mullahs….he’s ENDING is. With a decisive victory. A victory that will enable the Iranian people to “take back their country”. And will thereby greatly help American patriots to continue our fight, led solely by Donald Trump, to “take back America”.
There are about 38 million Kurds living in the Kurdish areas of Iran, Iraq, Turkey, and Syria. They are very good fighters, and well organized militarily. They have already entered to fight for the liberation of Iran from the clerical fanatics who have been ruining Iran’s civilization for 47 years, since they expelled the Shah in 1979. As President Trump’s air and sea action to protect America by enabling the Iranian patriots to “take your country back” is succeeding, the ground action that this huge population of Kurd’s introduces may provide just what was needed to embolden the disarmed Iranian people to take their country back. This is our discussion on March 4, 2026, five days into the Iranian conflict.
On March 3, 2026, I’m very much liking what Wayne Allyn Root, patriot in Las Vegas, is saying about President Trump’s action in Iran. He’s making the very good point that Trump is ENDING a war that has been plaguing the world, and especially America, for more than half-a-century. The worst of this plague began in 1979, when the lunatic mullahs seized control of, and wrecked, a previously great nation of Iran. For 47 years these unhinged clerics have been throttling the previously free nation of Iran as they led chants of “Death to America”. 47 years ago these mullahs had nothing with which to threaten America. 47 years later they absolutely control a nation that is hundreds of times more powerful than another tyranny, North Korea. With far less than a hundredth of the wealth, population, territory, and technology of Iran, Kim Jong Un actually HAS nuclear weapons. And intercontinental ballistic missiles. Donald Trump has made the right decision: these lunatic fanatics must not finalize their self=evident ability to build nukes they can mount on intercontinental hypersonic missiles. Trump is acutely aware that the U.S. has zero ability to stop a hypersonic missile. One such missile detonating a nuclear EMP, electro-magnetic pulse, warhead in space over the U.S. would fry every electronic device in America. That would render us helpless against any foe, especially Communist China, the great buddy of the mullahs.
Kelso, on March 2, 2026, paints the picture that President Trump is engaged in THE greatest grand strategy, which is to rid the world of the brutal scourge of the Chinese Communist Party. Far from being emboldened in his fevered ambitions to conquer Taiwan, Kelso holds that dictator Shi has been taken down many notches by Trump’s brilliant vaporization of Shi’s buddies in Maduro, the Mexican cartel lord, the cut-off Communist regime in Cuba, and now with the vaporization of Shi’s “protected buddy”, the Ayotollah Khameini.

The dads roll back into the Lounge with a tight, punchy episode—Sam and Little Matt holding it down after an unexpected week off. Big Matt was out due to sickness! They kick things off with pure joy: Scrubs is officially back. New episodes. New energy. Same heart. The guys run through their favorite one‑liners, the classic moments that still hit, and why this revival actually has a shot at being just as good as the original run. Little Matt even goes deep on one of the all‑time greats—Dr. Kelso—and lays out his case for how (and why) the beloved curmudgeon could stroll right back into the new season. Then the conversation takes a turn into real‑dad territory: dress codes. Specifically, how Matt plans to handle the day his daughters decide to wear something that sends his blood pressure into orbit. Sam offers perspective, Matt offers panic, and together they unpack what future‑dad‑them might be up against. Before signing off, the guys circle back to Scrubs for a few final thoughts, laughs, and hopes for what's next. It's shorter. It's snappy. It's classic Dad Lounge energy.ENJOY!
Destination: Mojave Desert Welcome to Dr. Mary Travelbest's 5-Step Guide to Solo Travel for women like you who need a little extra support as they travel the world (slowly), one woman at a time. I've been traveling solo since 1972. Now you can experience for yourself in the Book Series: 5 Steps to Solo Travel, A Woman's Guide to Travel and Destinations in Her Prime, found on Amazon. Yes, it has been a best seller in its category for some time! Please rate this podcast and the book! In this episode: Mojave Desert FAQ: loneliness on the road and how to pause when it happens. Today's Mistake- Dropping off at the Navajo Reservation Travel Advice: Have multiple backups when traveling in the desert. FAQ: How do I handle moments when loneliness or vulnerability hits unexpectedly on the road? Loneliness can show up even on a dream trip — and it doesn't mean you made a mistake. When it happens, I don't fight it or judge it. I pause, rest, and reconnect — whether that's through a familiar routine, a call home, or simply being around other people in a café or public space. Solo travel builds confidence, but it also requires emotional honesty. Feeling vulnerable doesn't make you weak; it reminds you that you're human — and capable of navigating it. Today's destination: Mojave Desert, including Joshua Tree The Mojave Desert is a desert in the rain shadow of the southern Sierra Nevada mountains and Transverse Ranges in the Southwestern United States. It is named for the indigenous Mojave people. Let's dig deeper into this desert. The Mojave Desert is a North American desert spanning California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, known for its iconic Joshua trees, stark beauty, and extreme temperatures, including those in Death Valley. It features diverse landscapes, including sand dunes (Kelso), lava tubes, salt flats, and unique wildlife. Major attractions include Joshua Tree National Park, Death Valley, and Mojave National Preserve, offering activities such as hiking, stargazing, and exploring ghost towns. Key Figures & Details: Area: Around 47,000 to 50,000 sq mi (or 120,000 to 130,000 sq km). Location: Southeastern California, southern Nevada, northwestern Arizona, and southwestern Utah. Elevation: Extreme range, from 282 ft below sea level (Death Valley) to over 11,000 ft at Telescope Peak. Borders: Bounded by the Sierra Nevada, San Gabriel/San Bernardino Mountains, Great Basin Desert, Sonoran Desert, and Colorado Plateau. Nickname: Often called the "high desert" due to its significant elevation. You can listen to two podcasts about my Death Valley adventures. Episodes 310 and 311 from 2025. https://www.nature.org/en-us/get-involved/how-to-help/places-we-protect/mojave-desert/ Inside the desert is: Joshua Tree National Park: Home to dense Joshua tree forests, hiking, and stargazing. Death Valley National Park: North America's hottest, driest, and lowest point (Badwater Basin). Mojave National Preserve: Features Kelso Dunes, lava tubes (like Hole-in-the-Wall), Cima Ghost Town, and Zzyzx. Red Rock Canyon State Park & Valley of Fire State Park: Known for colorful cliffs and hiking. Stargazing: Excellent dark skies for astronomy. Today's Mistake- Dropping off at the Navajo Reservation I was driving from Chicago to San Diego, and one of my riders wanted to be dropped off at the Navajo Reservation. This was a several-day trip, and I was happy to have the company in the car. I've not seen this friend since, and I think she's ok. I wonder whether it was a mistake to do that. Travel Advice: Have multiple backups when traveling in the desert. Have more than enough of the key items, food, water, blankets, and gas when you travel in the desert. Sometimes, you can't find things you need here. Be prepared. Where are you going? Please let me know if I helped you with your travel. The show notes have ways to connect. Johnny Mac delivers comedy news focused on the Scrubs revival premiering Wednesday at 8:00 PM on ABC (with Hulu next day).He shares personal enthusiasm for the original series and summarizes details from interviews with Zach Braff and Donald Faison: the revival mixes a young, diverse writers' room with original writers, and centers on JD and Turk reconnecting at Sacred Heart as medicine and a new generation of interns have evolved while their friendship endures.Returning cast includes Zach Braff (JD), Donald Faison (Turk), Sarah Chalke (Elliot), Judy Reyes (Carla), John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox), and the Todd!.Not all characters will appear in every episode due to scheduling.Ken Jenkins (Dr. Kelso, 85) and Neil Flynn (the Janitor) are not in season one yet, with Braff saying it may depend on a potential second season.New cast additions include Vanessa Bayer as a wellness/HR figure with a thick file on the Todd, Joel Kim Booster as attending Dr. Eric Park, and interns named Serena, Asher, Blake, Amara, and Deana; additional intern descriptions include Amara (sheltered, homeschooled), Dashana (confident, written like a young Turk), and Tosh (an Instagram-famous influencer doctor). The episode notes Sam Lloyd's death (Ted) and that the show will pay tribute by naming a new hangout ‘Lloyd's Tavern,' with plans for a tribute episode possibly in season one or season two. Mac discusses the controversy around season nine (the ‘Med School' era) and Braff's preference to frame the new project as a ‘revival' rather than a reboot, citing Bill Lawrence's view that season nine should have had a different title.Spoilers ..........nclude JD returning as a concierge doctor because a patient is admitted to Sacred Heart, Turk as chief of surgery, Elliot as a high-up attending, and Dr. Cox adapting his teaching style to modern wellness rules and workplace norms. The script also revisits contemporary and later reviews of Scrubs, notes criticism about outdated portrayals of women and characters like the Todd, and highlights memorable episodes such as ‘My Screw Up,' ‘My Last Words,' ‘My Old Lady,' ‘My Fallen Idol,' and the season eight finale originally intended as the series finale.00:00 Scrubs Revival Is Here: Johnny's Hype & Personal Connection00:43 What We Know So Far: Premise, Returning Cast & Who Might Be Missing03:03 New Faces at Sacred Heart + Honoring Sam Lloyd (Ted)04:07 The Season 9 Problem: Reboot vs Revival (and the ‘Med School' Debate)05:27 How the Revival Finally Happened: Podcast, Ads, and Scheduling the Reunion06:07 Spoiler Zone: First Look Clips & Where Everyone Is Now07:48 Modern Hospital, Modern Rules: Dr. Cox vs HR, Wellness, and New Interns09:23 Why Scrubs Worked: Early Reviews, What Aged Poorly, and Best Episodes13:11 Final Thoughts + When to Watch (ABC/Hulu)Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/daily-comedy-news-with-johnny-mac--4522158/support.Daily Comedy News is the number one comedy news podcast, delivering daily coverage of standup comedy, late night television, comedy specials, tours, and the business of comedy.COMEDY SURVIVOR in the facebook group.Contact John at John@thesharkdeck dot com For Uninterrupted Listening, use the Apple Podcast App and click the banner that says Uninterrupted Listening. $4.99/month John's Substack about media is free. This is the animal sanctuary mentioned in the February 10 episode.

Marianne didn't grow up believing in harmless ghosts or playful spirits. She grew up learning which parts of a house to trust—and which ones never felt empty, no matter how much light you poured into them. What began in her grandmother's century-old home in Kelso never stayed there. A shadow with red eyes. A photograph that had to be burned. Conversations spoken in sleep to someone no one else could see. At first, it felt contained—tied to a place, a family, a history. But when Marianne left, something followed. And the most disturbing realization of all? It didn't want fear. At twenty years old, she already knew most people wouldn't believe her. Her story started in her grandmother's 1900 house in Kelso, Washington—a place where ghost stories weren't entertainment, they were warnings. Her father once heard running footsteps and chains outside his bedroom. Later, a photo revealed something impossible: a strange young boy beside her little brother, wearing what looked like shackles. Her grandmother insisted the picture be burned. While the adults watched her brother, she was left alone—and she began noticing things no one else could. She woke at 3 a.m. like clockwork. She saw shadows with red eyes. A girl appeared on her bed and stared back with the same eyes.
