Heute aber erst einmal viel Spaß mit The Beginning of the End... game.

Steven and Chandler have been joking about the final film in Fox's X-Men franchise for as long as the Act 3 podcast has existed. "The New Mutants" is widely available on HBOMax, so the time has come to see if it's worthy of all the jokes the guys have made at its expense. This is a film that finished shooting in 2017 and has had its release delayed more times than either Steven or Chandler can remember. Is it good, bad, or somewhere in the middle? We've got that answer for you. Other talking points this week include: Marvel's phase 4 release slate, Paramount + releasing a new movie every week in 2022, and a black Superman movie? For this week's packed edition of The Fanboy Podcast, host Mario-Francisco Robles kicks things off with his response to the news that Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins is about to head out into that galaxy far, far away with a film called Rogue Squadron. He sounds off on what excites him about Jenkins and other similarly talented filmmakers getting to make a Star Wars movie. Things then turn towards Zack Snyder's Justice League, which may no longer be called Zack Snyder's Justice League. The film now has a projected release month, as well as some intriguing whispers about what's gone into the 4-5 of additional footage Snyder is adding to his story. MFR shares the rumors he's heard about who was able to shoot more, and who wasn't, and how that factors into the endeavor's rumored $70 million budget. And why isn't it called Zack Snyder's Justice League anymore? Oh, and it's another f**kin' rated-R DCEU movie from Snyder? I'm shocked. From there, we go into the latest between the issue between Ray Fisher and WarnerMedia over conduct on the set of Justice League- and what that means for the likes of Joss Whedon and Geoff Johns. Tessa Thompson's latest comments regarding the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder have MFR realizing a tip he'd gotten about Marvel's future plans was spot on. And then, with proper *SPOILER WARNINGS* he concludes the episode by reacting to The Mandalorian's second season coming to an impactful end.

Marvel's Phase 4 will be the most ambitious yet. Not only is the MCU dealing with the regular film arsenal, such as origin stories and sequels, but it's also tackling original content in episodic form for Disney+. Between everything coming to theaters and Disney’s new streaming service, there are upwards of 14 titles to look forward to. Today, my wonderful wife Lindsay joins me once again, as we discuss all the Phase 4 content Kevin Feige unleashed during this year's SDCC. Obviously us fans don't have tons of MCU info yet, so most of what we talk about is pure speculation. Regardless, we hope you enjoy this episode! A podcast that judges Marvel's Phase 4 films & TV shows with Tom Jones sound effects.
In this week's show... wait, can we still call it a weekly show? I mean, the boys are really sucking at releasing content on a regular basis right now. Hold on, I'm getting a text... Well, Bill says that if I want to keep my job writing these things that I'll pipe down about the whole "not releasing regular content" thing. (It's true though) ANYWAY, on this week's show, Bill does a fantasy football draft. (Wait, what?) The boys also talk about having a bad time at the El Royale and Marvel's Phase 4 (that 66% of the podcast can't get behind). Then, the gentlemen (trying to make Bill like me again) chat about the final preview for Joker and the latest footage from Rise of Skywalker. Love Pillow Talk? Want to hear more rants from Nick? Take 15 seconds and give us a rating in Apple Podcasts or your favorite podcasting app. While you're at it, tell your friends about us, we have an amazing referral bonus program and follow the boys on Twitter: @BiginMexico, @JeremyBoldt and @thebillherron.
Who do you think could play Lobo in the DCU? In this edition of Croco's Corner we discuss Marvel's Phase 4 further and touch on what could come out of Phase 5. Derrick, Robert, and Nyle also touch on the Joker movie's influence and many more comic and anime-related issues. Hope you Enjoy! Music: BJRNCK - Good on My Own, The O'Jays - Use Ta Be My Girl
I know it's been awhile and we got a lot of catching up to do! So we waste no time with all of our announcements. We talk about all of the new Films and Shows coming to Disney+ this year and how we think Marvel's Phase 4 will work now that Spider-Man is no longer in the MCU. We also get into some serious netflix discussions.
Welcome Back, Fellow Geeks, for Episode 073 of Geek So To Speak Podcast! This week, sh*t hit the fan, because SONY and MARVEL have gone their separate ways, and SPIDER-MAN IS OUT OF THE MCU. What does this mean for Marvel's Phase 4? Can Sony possibly make another solo-flick without screwing it up? Who's to blame? We get to the bottom of this fiasco! Also, so much more Geek News keeping us busy: The Matrix is back with a 4th movie and we are mildly excited! Krypton gets cancelled and we are VERY excited! Paul Rudd can't keep Ant-Man secrets! More Resident Evil movies are coming despite no one asking for more! In addition to all that, Shoff's knowledge of the MCU is put to the test in THE IMPOSSIBLE MARVEL QUIZ! All that, plus WonderRob is going to tape 16 diapers together, Shoff helps us reach a Seinfeld reference record, and our bodies can not handle the "Impossible"! So sit back, relax, and thanks for tuning in... SAME GEEK TIME, SAME GEEK CHANNEL!
