Gone are the days when you signed up for a job for life - these days we have options! And freelancing is a fantastic one. Freedom to choose the work you want to do, freedom to pick your hours (if you're smart) and much more. But this career choice also comes with some serious challenges.

BUSY P welcomes Arman into Ed Banger in Montmarte. Born to bring the headbangers, indie romantics, hip hop kids and techno heads together, PEDRO describes the DNA of Ed Banger Records; a place where the integrity and energy of music is felt and expressed in the freshest, sexiest way. There's a certain magic in the air as Pedro shares his belief that “LONGEVITY is the best proof of success.” Alluding to DAFT PUNK for teaching him that “knowing what you want to do is as important as knowing what you don't want to do,” Pedro shares ideas from their synergy working together. Hinting caution to the new youth, Pedro warns “music is not something you swipe, but something you FEEL.” As important as mixing genres and people is, so is understanding the boundaries that lend themselves to the contrast which make them beautiful. Referencing the Beastie Boys 'Check Your Head,' Kraftwerk, Metallica and MC Solaar, Pedro's soundtrack reflects his appetite for questioning standards, pushing boundaries, and then bringing them all together. An old soul but perpetually cool kid, BUSY P waves au revoir to get busy again and Arman steps back out onto the cobbled streets of the 18th arrondissement. https://areweonair.com/busy-p https://www.instagram.com/areweonair/ https://www.instagram.com/armannafeei/

Montmarte overlooks Paris and is one of the highest points in the city - in the Dome, which I climbed …all 300 steps up and down, you are higher than the Effiel Tower. The fee to climb the Dome is 6 euros. If you have difficulty with stairs this is not a good choice. There is a courtyard nearby filled with artist and the Salvador Dali Museum is nearby. The fee is 14 euros and the audio assist is an additional 3 euros. An early evening walk along the Champs-Élysées  and a cruise through the courtyard of the Louvre, and then onto Pont Neuf to catch a  river boat tour along the River Seine. The Vedettes du Pont Neuf boat tour is an hour long and cost approximately 14 euros.Make reservations online and get the same tour for 10 euros. I highly recommend this tour, as it is not a crowded boat and takes you along many of the major attractions. Go on the evening tour and see the Eiffel Tower sparkle on the hour every hour until 1 am.

The Paris police investigate crime "by the book". Maigret is more of a "thinking detective". He uses his perception and phschological insight to solve the complex crimes that come his way. More often than not, he's more interested in the "why" of a crime than "who". Adventures of Inspector Maigret - Maigret is a brusque, pipe-smoking, Parisian Inspector, who works long hours at his office on the Quai des Orfèvres. He lives in an apartment on the Boulevard Richard-Lenoir where Madame Maigret always has one of his favourite home-cooked dishes waiting for him and a pot of hot coffee on the stove.Maigret is an unorthodox detective who relies on intuition more than factual evidence. He seeks to understand rather than judge the criminal, following a suspect not to find clues but to feel with the man. His approach to the investigation consist of long walks spent thinking about the crime, or hours in local cafés, smoking his pipe and drinking and immersing himself in the life of those he hunts.
